Penny Pot

The kayak and canoe put-in for the Great Egg Harbor river.

We had a really fun time!!

Small but nice with 2 picnic tables. Tried to kayak upstream, no go! Large trees across the river

Its not really a park just a small Conoe launch.

Beautiful place to set out in a canoe.

Excellent location for dropping in the kayaks. Paddle or float down the creek. Pleasant trip for all

Great place to put your kayak in and head off on an adventure. Wouldnt recommend a canoe here. There are many fallen trees and obstacles so not ideal if your not up for a challenge.

Good place to enter the river. Not crowded

Tiniest of parks. Honestly its good for three things, a nice picnic, launching a tube to go down the stream, and the pokemon gym thats there if you play Pokemon Go

Putting in at Penny Pot currently is not an option. The river is impassible. Many many trees have fallen across the river. Our group who is experienced kayakers went on Labor Day and it is dangerous and not an enjoyable trip. Much work has to be done all the way down to the Weymouth Furnace but especially at the upper section.

Good launch spot for a kayak. First mile of the river hasnt been cleared recently but otherwise a good run to Weymouth.

The upper section has a lot of fallen trees but once you get down past the one mile mark it was a beautiful day on the water.

Great location to drop off some kayaks for a day of kayaking.

This is a really small park if it can be called that. There is one picnic table. Or is more of an entry point for kayaks for those going down the streams.

Im not a p*ssy so I found this launch site to quite adequate and complete with parking. We had a great time using it. Love the snaking water trail!!
