Definition of short but sweet. Goliath is one of the smoothest wooden coasters Ive ever ridden, and one of the few that goes upside down. Its an awesome ride. Theres a huge first drop, two inversions that hang you upside down for a long while, fun overbanked turns, a couple tunnels, and even some airtime. Its a fast paced and fun ride and one of the best in the park.

I wouldnt mind having 2 or 3 RMCs at the park. American Eagle and a raptor/t-rex need to join the party!

Super fun ride. Really intense however. There is 1 giant drop at the beginning and a few loops. Not recommend for little kids.

Amazing coaster! We stopped here on our way back from NE to NY as a side trip. We love coasters and have season passes. This ride DID NOT DISSAPOINT!

This by far is my favorite roller coaster at Great America. This thing is so intense and fun at the same time. Incredible first drop into the tunnel......turns speed airtime and the inversions are sick especially the zero G stall. That’s by far the best inversion I ever went through on a roller coaster. The only down fault is it’s too short! It’s a must ride when you visit Great America

Very fun and furious ride. At the time of its opening it was the tallest, steepest and fastest wooden coaster in the world. It has 2 inversions, but unfortunately, its over very quickly.

Best ride in the park hands down. The steep hill is awesome and when it goes upside down, that feeling is great. I find it more fun than Raging Bull even though its not as smooth.

This was a great roller coaster! There was only a five minute wait for one of six flags best rides. This ride definitely makes my top 5 favorite roller coasters at six flags. It has a great drop with many twist and turns. You make think that it’s bumpy because it’s wooden but it actually rides very smooth. I highly recommend riding this rollercoaster even if u have to wait around an hour!!

Great coaster! Intense, fun, flops you around good! It is a short ride and ops are slow because of rmc trains but you should already know that.

AWESOME COASTER!!!!! RMC never disappoints! My No 1 favorite coaster in the park!! If I do have one complaint about it it’s that’s its too short. Most RMCs (like Steel Vengeance, Iron Rattler, etc) are very long.

I rode Goliath for the first time last night..Very Unique coaster..smooth...smooth..smooth...The drop is Insane. GREAT AIRTIME HILL, from out of nowhere too.. and then you fly into a dive loop, and you are suddenly upside down and straight into The Zero-G stall !!! Which in itself was different from anything Ive ever seen on any coaster. High speeds the whole ride... Incredible..Its just over a minute long from start to finish..and thats all you need.. It took me another minute to process everything after the ride ended. DID I MENTION HOW SMOOTH IT WAS

We did get stuck in line for a few minutes, but the ride is one of the best if not the best in the park. Its nothing the raging bull and the viper can compared to. Not bad for a wooden coaster.

ONE OF THE MOST FUN RIDES HERE!!!! The line can be long but very worth the wait. It goes in all sorts of direction and they’ve got tv’s to keep you entertained. I enjoyed this ride so much I went right back to the start of the line.

Goliath is a must-ride roller coaster for any thrill seeker. There are plenty of elements, including two inversions, two over banked turns, and a unique lift hill. This roller coaster breaks three world records for tallest, fastest, and steepest wooden roller coaster. My only complaint is that the ride is too short, but is definitely worth the wait.

Really a wood and steel hybrid, which is great. Best of both words, with modern loops. Welcome to the 21st century. My new favorite ride at great America. Very smooth (you can have your eyeball jiggling, headache inducing American Eagle).

Very good ride! Extremely smooth for a wooden ride. This ride is one of those rides that you can ride over and over and is one of my favorites in the park. Its length is the only negative of this ride; its only a 90 second ride which makes it not really worth a 2 hour wait. However, if the line is short its definitely worth checking out.

We got in line as soon as we got into the park, it was a 90 minute wait but more than worth it. Such fun! And i really appreciated the ankle straps.

One of the best coasters on the planet. Breathtaking inversions, strong airtime moments, a 10/10 first drop, and a respectable top speed of 72 mph, all with perfect smoothness and no shoulder harness restraints. Six Flags has a legendary ride on their hands.

Totally worth the queue. This is one of the few rides in the park that have a single rider entrance, keep in mind so you dont have to get stuck with the rest of the crowd that ride together. Extremely smooth ride for a wooden roller coaster, in comparison to the other 2 (American Eagle & Viper) in the same park.

IT WAS EPIC.it is better than X-flight and same rate as V2 and hands down the best ride in the park and I mean it the best in the park!but the wait is not worth a 90 to 60 second ride but it is kind of worth but i totally recommend V2.both of the rides are a MUST-DO

Great new coaster.

I havent gone to Six Flags in over 15 years because of the lines and the crowd but I just went last Saturday and it was the best time in a long time. Its mostly due to The Goliath, best roller coaster Ive ever been on. Rode it twice and WOW, the same thrill. I WILL be going back to Six Flags sooonnnnn.

I was nervous to ride it when we got to the front of the line and the ride temporarily closed down.... Because someone crapped their pants on it. Hahaha the crew was great about promptly removing the mess and our ride experience was amazing! I found a new favorite ride. The drop at the front was the best part.

Im pretty sure most people thought that they were going to die on the lifthill, (which I thought I was going to) but the drop turned out thrilling! I bought a copy of the picture which the staff working the pictures were awfully nice!

It is just an insane experience, from one thing to the next. The drop falls almost straight down for what feels like for ever, and those two inversions are like nothing before. The zero-G stall will stun you.

Great impressive ride however it is way too short. You will probably wait in line for an hour for the shortest ride time for a rollercoaster in the park.

Mom wont let me ride it because it is spooky for me but i snuk on it while my mom was riding the little dipper the wait was longer for the little dipper so i went in the single rider line i was seated in the front and he had a nice camera i think it was a iphone camera maybe the 5s but he recorded me riding it i really enjoyed the ride the drop was spooky like my mommy said but i am glad that i didnt go on the little dipper the man that was recording me lost his camera lter i learned that i had his ipod touch in my pocket he found me and i gave him his phone thats why i give the little dipper 5 stars
