Viking park is a great place to go with family or without. The have playground that are meant for very young children, one of which is almost complete fenced off, basketball courts, big open sprawls of grass, a field house that you can rent to hold parties in and lots and lots of different foliage to enjoy. Nothing is run down or broken, no unsafe equipment, and very clean. You couldnt be happier with a community park.

We love Viking Park. We have attended many events here and they have all been so nice. We also had our wedding reception at the Dance Hall and it was lovely.

Nice festival, good food, underwhelming fireworks. No smoking. Beer limited to fenced area. Crossing from music to carnival was like going from a calm picnic to a war zone.....

Watching the holiday train come in and the band that was playing, was really good.

Very nice park offering a wide range of facilities. There are soccer and baseball fields, 2 playgrounds and tennis courts. A walking path meanders around the terrain. There are plenty of parking space.

Went for an enchanted evening with the princesses. Prices were great, atmosphere was great, music was great and the young princess did a great job. Fun times all around.**The only problem was with the middle aged plus, wild haired female photographer.She wasnt friendly, quite gruff and bumped into a few little girls, knocked a tiera off one and with zero care. Not even an excuse me, pardon me or sorry.Left a sour taste, not sure if Ill take my lil one back.**

We came here to see the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. They stopped the train right in the park and did a Christmas Concert. Quite the sight. Very fun evening. Local police did a great job keeping things safe and well organized.

This is a highly utilized community park. There are 2 well maintained tennis courts, which is why friends and I meet at this location to play a match.

A great place to take the kids. Always check the local park district for events they have here a lot of them are super fun for the whole family.

Good park located next to viking school and preschool. Makes it easy to get the kids there and hard to leave.
