Two dog parks for small and large dogs. Community does a great job to help keep it clean. Great way to meet your neighbors! Could use some new mulch or other material for large dog park but a great community park. Public tennis courts and a hitting wall!

Great place for big and small pups

Great little playground with a dog park nearby. There are tennis courts and the Gulfport Historical Society all in one area. Scout Hall is also here.

Certain nights they have unlimited play for an hour with a pizza and a drink, for very cheap.. So wether you have just and your kid/kids or a whole birthday party, its super cheap and all can participate.

Everyone that visits is super friendly, everyone watches out for all the dogs best interest, and I have never seen anyone not clean up after their dogs.

There is a beautiful playground here. There are two off leash dog parks, one for small dogs and the other for large dogs. My friend and I took our dogs to the small dog park. The other dog owners were cliquely and unfriendly. There are other dog parks nearby, and we will be trying one of them which has a better reputation.

Well first off...lol ...there is a group of locals that come at the same time everyday and they have their own personal chairs lined up. Thats great and all, however they are rude, snotty and unwelcoming... youd think they owned the park!I wanted to comment on the person who said their dog got fleas from this park and will never go back... I have been working in the K9 business for 15 years; in Florida; topical flea treatments DO NOT WORK! If your dog got fleas it obviously isnt on a veterinary prescribed flea/tick/etc. Medication. Also my friend, your dog could have gotten fleas from walking down your sidewalk...who knows!?All and all, its an older dog park, big dog and little dog area that is separated by a building...which means no fence fighting. Covered sitting area for the dog parents, big dog park has a tunnel(s) and I would bring your own water for the fur babes!

Ive never been to Chase Park. I may walk by there, but Ive no idea where Chase Park is.

How nice it is to have a dog park partitioned off for large and small dogs here in Gulfport. A great and safe place for your precious fur babies to roam unleashed and socialize with the neighbors.

We thought it would be really nice to check out the dog park, since its in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, the large dog side was in very poor condition. The surfacing was clearly not planned for use in a dog park. It appears to have been grass originally, but use of the park has eroded it to little more than a giant mud pit. Our normally playful dog basically refused to play, and asked to leave; not that we would have been thrilled for her to get that muddy anyway.Ultimately, we were really disappointed and embarrassed that Gulfport hasnt maintained this park better. It would be such a valuable amenity in better condition.

Nice and peaceful place

Smaller park. Well maintained. I went on a week day and 3 senior ladies had their small dogs running around. Divided into small dogs and large dogs. My small/medium sized terrier is a year old and can out run a lot of big dogs, so I like her to run with the bigger dogs.

Love this park its part of my walk around town and has great shade.
