A quiet pier to fish with planety of restaurants and bars to choose from to unwind. The fishing is decent and the view of sailboats is a very nice touch to the scenery of the aqua blue-green water. The pier is currently under repairs at this time, but I am hopeful it will only help the safety overall. You can catch everything from baby sharks to mangrove snapper. There is no fishing allowed on the adjacent boat docks, so this is it! Have fun!
Great spot to hang and take in the day. We biked the Pinellas trail and wanted to see what was happening in one of our favorite spots. Hung out and enjoyed the local scene after confinement.
Fun night fishing for my first time out here. Caught a great buzz but no dinner
I would suggest that one refrain from swimming, but the view is quite nice, and; one is in the seat of Gulfport commerce. So, there is plenty to do between beach naps. Have lunch at Neptunes or Pias. Get a drink at Saltys. Walk around and people-watch.
Super nice vibe. Fishing photos, bars across the street. I reccomend.
Pretty place. Could hear the music from the bars and watch the sunset as I fished. A couple caught a catfish but I got skunked. Its alright though, nice atmosphere. Definitely busy though. Would not suggest it for serious fishing.
Pier is great. Nice view of the bay. The beach is pretty swampy and not really swimmable.
It was ok but they need to clean up the water edge more
Great family oriented public fishing area
Good fishing and thy have a bar at the front of the Pier
Scenic pier in Gulfport. Food, art & scenery. Soak it up.
Pier is closed for now. Not applicable.
Nice view of Gulfport and the waterfront.
Nice walk to the doc great view
Beautiful view of Boca Circa Bay. Great for sunrise/sunset viewing. Havent fished off the pier, but fishermen Ive spoken with say mullet, trout good fishing. Ive seen lots of rays, dolphin, & manatees from the pier.Youre just off the main streets of Gulfport where theres lots of action, good food, fun pubs, great novelty stores. If youre on the pier, youre in Paradise and a step away from Heaven.
Sweet little fishing pier. Great place to watch the Christmas lighted boat parade.
Great location, nice and clean! no bites in over an hour.
Nice pier, clean well maintained, even has benches close to the edges so you can sit once you cast your line. People were nice and there are some nice bars directly across from it.
Great sunrises from the pier. Sometimes dolphins come right up to the sides of the pier.
Neat little eclectic area with good eats, bars and shopping. Fishing pier, Beach area and playgrounds. Cool atmosphere.
Great pier to fish off of. Several species can be caught. Public restrooms are not close and are closed at night until 7a.

Nice area for a walk . Pokemon go area as well .
First time in Gulfport but this peir was well maintained, clean, and what a view. Good place to walk while waiting for good eats at OMaddys bar and grill
Awesome views
NIce pier, room for fishing, several species of fish can be caught here. However, the public boating pier is about 50 feet away and the boaters who anchor in the bay come in regularly, especially around breakfast time, lunch and dinner. The problem is that many are thinking only of themselves. They will come in under the pier, right through your fishing lines. they cut the corner and come within 10 feet of the pier on the deep water side. This morning alone, I had to quickly pull my line in three times as boaters who were anchored out brought their skiffs in right through my lines. Additionally Mommy and me yoga class comes out on the pier and blares their music as they do yoga on the fishing pier. Many walkers, runners, bikers, etc also are all over the pier, causing you to be extremely careful with casts. Basically, this is NOT a fishing pier, it is a public pier that you can fish from. Keep that in mind and you will do okay!
Nice view of downtown Gulfport and Boca Ciega Bay.
Simply relaxing
Visiting Gulfport, FL is a MUST and while enjoying this quaint Village, stacked with great bars, shops and eateries, include a stroll to the end of this 521 ft historic pier.
Beautiful views and fishing.. #Salute
Make sure you go at the proper time I went for 6 hours and didnt catch a thing just lost an expensive swimbait and a few hooks
Fun place to walk and eat or have a drink
Gulfport, FL is a hidden gem.
Good place to fish but no facilities
You see fish in. All
Its a good place to walk around and meet people.
Great place two fish
A nice small pier to walk down and take photographs facing both the city of Gulfport and the water views. It always reminds me of Old Florida and the perspective looking back onto the casino is well worth the walk.
Lovely and Historical.
Great pier to catch a Sunset or sometimes a dolphin swimming by. Once out here on the tip gives great views of Gulfport restaurants and bars
Super nice park in the bay
Nice pier to fish off of or enjoy the scenery
The fishing is always great for my husband and I. We catch black top shark, cat fish, ladyfish, trout, lizard fish, plenty of pinfish and grunts, the occasional puffers, and some people have even caught flounder here as well. There are lights under the pier for night fishing too. Its always very clean and has plenty of trash cans so it can stay that way. The view is really pretty at sunset too. The nearby bars/restaurants are also really good. (I like OMaddys best personally.)
Beautiful
Great place to fish. Very good lighting. You can see a lot of good fish activity.
No bait shop. Short pier. Just not worth trip.
Nice relaxing place to just sit and watch the boats and animals, nice view from the bay and Johns pass bridge.
Cool little pier in Gulfport. Not usually busy so its still easy to catch some quiet fishing time here.
