Very nice and free. Good historical info
Lovely Visitor Information building. The lady working was very friendly and so helpful...we chatted about her experiences living on the beautiful Gulf Coast. Plenty of info on hand.
Go and see this historic place that had to rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina. Please strike up a conversation with Marsha. She is, in my humble opinion, a Gulfport treasure.
Was closed when we stopped looked like it should have been good but didnt open even tho the hours posted it should have been
Beautiful setting, antebellum home with wide porches, gorgeous lawn on beach side with live oaks lining the lawn in an aisle to the beach. Perfect wedding setting on the lawn. Featured photo is of restrooms, not home.
Very nice lady helped us get information on the area. You should stop for information if you need it
Supposed to be open 8am according to internet and door sign. 835am locked up tight. Handicapped ramp and stairs as well as porch covered in water/dew. Very dangerous, especially with long walk to front door. Not very welcoming. Extremely limited parking. 3 stalls, 2 marked handicapped.
Nice lawn and event venue
Good bathrooms
Gulfport Visitor Center has an abundance of information for the General Public for their use on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Is setting on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico at The Grass Lawn estate. The assistant was very professional and knowledgeable about the activities to do here on the coast. there must be a hundred different pamphlets of things to do here on the coast. Have fun and enjoy!
Host was knowledgeable, upbeat and she really enjoys helping guests!
Met the most interesting and wonderful woman that greeted us. We talked about how she ended up in the area, and she told us so much more than anyone else in the area. Stop in and visit with her. You will enjoy the visit.
Historically authentic, learn more about history.
I went to this place and it was the most horrible experience of beach that Ive ever had we had to stay based on we were tired of driving we went all the way to Pascagoula we tried their we tried Gulfport we tried Biloxi we tried different parts of each one of those beaches and theyre all full of oil theyre all brown have saved Gulfport Beach is Better sand and better you know water and unless rocks and and and the cleaner beaches but the other pieces are like Biloxi especially if its full of shards of glass and rocks it cut you up as soon as you get into the phone to the beach into the shore into the water the rocks are right there so I had a whole day there was dead fish everywhere they was dead things bone it was you know hes a horrible experience so we went back to Gulfport that was if you want a good beach experience Sandy Beach experience and thats the place water horrible I would say go to Gulf Shores Alabama and that would be blue water and a better Beach experience
