Not much too say, because theres not much to see. Very serene though. Very calm.

Nice park for a picnic or just sit and relax! There are a couple spots where you can get in the lake! Lots of spots for fishing and the boat ramp is close by also! Usually not very crowded! Nice family friendly park!!

A wonderful place to go either alone, as a couple or as a family. Fishing and swimming in a not too crowded atmosphere. Picnic tables and grills are scattered around. Very clean.

Great little park

Nice quiet and calm area for a bunch of old folks to have a 58th year high school reunion! Hot and humid, but the location on the outcropping of land allowed a delightful breeze. Very clean area. Take all supplies you need for your comfort (cooler, ice, beverages, food and lawn chairs). Great to be able to walk around and visit with classmates.

I find this park to be so peaceful...the tables are just the right distance from the water and its not a long drive from anywhere in Gainesville. We like to cook out and swim. Theres a public bathroom and boat ramp with plenty of parking space to turn trailers around. Really nice.

We love going to this park with my sister and her husband and do some fishing.

There arent a lot of amenities at this park - picnic tables with a small grill, trash cans and a public restroom are it - but its convenient to where I live and usually there are very few people who I can leave my dog off a leash. Its where I go to to decompress. Most people come here to put their boat in the water.

My son and I wanted a place to swim and cool off while camping nearby and we found this spot to be perfect for picnic, swimming, and sunset viewing!

Wonderful except people dont pick up after their dogs. Perhaps a dog waste station with bags would help.

Small area but excellent facilities. 3 ramps to launch boats, picnic tables and grills.
