Great park for parents with small children. Well maintained and lots of fun challenges for kids 2-12! Just watch out if youre there after school lets out. It can get a little busy mid afternoon

Been here every other weekend since I was about 9. Honestly love this park and all the things to do, they have baseball games all the time and the actual playground is pretty big. Tons of swings and its a good location, never seen any needles on the ground like other places.Definitely a great place for people who have never been to Gainesville

We love Westside park and cant wait until some of the upgrades are done! Theres something for everyone in our family: playground; pool; tennis & basketball courts; even a small skate park!

Nice place for a walk if you dont mind bumpy semi-paved trails. Plenty of shade though. Currently, half of the park is under construction which closes off the playground and some fields. Plus, the swimming pool has a slide.

A great park with racquetball, tennis and pickleball options among other sporting facilities. Very centrally located in Gainesville and even connects to a trail.

Another great time today, I relaxed by bball court, then practiced tennis. Westside Park is currently having an $800, 000 makeover, upgraded drainage, traffic flow. No activities area are restricted, at this time. On March 12th a meeting will be held at Gvl City Commission to review a 1 million dollar additional expenditure for the park. It is a destination for locals as well as our out of town guests. The additional money requested will pay hugh dividends for Gvl. well into the future. I encourage everyone to support these projects, anyway you can.Go Gators

Theres a lot to do here. Tennis, racquetball, basketball, softball/baseball, playground, walking, picnics, bbq, and Westside pool is just around the corner. Plenty of Pokémon Go stops as well! A little outdated, but functional. Convenient location as well.

The pool is refreshing.. This was go to park when my sons were little boys. We always love to go here. Very rewarding and peaceful.

Lots of parking, great playground and picnic area. 3 and 4 mile loops for running and walking when you add surrounding neighborhoods.

The trails were impassable and unkept. No locators at the entrance. A all around disappointed day and visit.

Lots to do. Bathrooms are clean and available. Nearby neighborhood is the Duckpnd area. Nice historic houses.
