A wide open area with a several small play areas. However, the splash pad and play area combo was built for everyone to enjoy, as special needs kids and adults can fully enjoy all the wonders of the park. Many large spaces allow for any sports or fun in the sun. Many pavilions are all over to allow enjoying the park and wide open spaces to the fullest.

Kreager Park is my favorite place to walk my dogs and they get so excited when they realize where they are. Plenty of room for them to walk and play!! Usually most people are playing softball or kids playing at the playground leaving much of the other areas completely open. Its like you have the whole place to yourself. I just love it. Super relaxing!!

This park is a great place to cool off on a hot day. It would be amazing if parents actually watched their kids however, rather than just letting them be total terrorists. I got hit no less than 8 times in the face by some brats with squirt guns, all without an apology. Oh well, such as life.

This is such a great park, even for my little guy. Weve been coming here since he started walking a few months ago at 8 mos and the ground is perfectly soft and forgiving, like grass, but without the dirty debri. The equipment is fun and very accommodating, even for those with special needs. Splash pad is available during the warmer months and more than just a few ground fountains. The design was weIl thought out and constructed so that theres plenty to do even on the busiest of days. Great canopies and spots to eat lunch or get some shade. Its pretty legit.

This place is less than 5 minutes away and has a large newer play area that she loves to go to. Also plenty for the rest of the family with lots of walking trails, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and tennis courts. They even have a splash pad in the summer months so we will definitely be back then as well. Kreager park is great. Not only are there tons of walking paths, but there is a large playground on the east side of the park for the kids to play on. There is also a splash pad with another playground on the west side of the park. The splash pad and playground are definitely a summer must. We go pretty much every week during the summer to let the kids play for an hour or two. Would definitely recommend for a fun evening!

Great park to take the kids to. The playground is a great size and has equipment for the big kids and the small kids. The exercise area is great for parents to use while they keep an eye on the little ones playing. There are several sports fields that can be used when games arent being held and the trails connect right to the River Greenway. It seems as if this park is well cared for and kept up and is definitely a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the outdoors.
