They completely upgraded the park and we checked it out and it is so much better now! Kids of all ages were enjoying it and they had some musical equipment as well my kids loved. Its now one of our favorite parks.

This is a beautiful park, the views of the bay are relaxing . Watch the boats as they pass or watch a eagle catching fish . They offer great outdoor concerts and a safe and fun place to spend some time

The trees are decorated in Christmas lights! Its really pretty! We are Snowbirds and enjoy the beauty of the entire area!

The park is still under repairs after the damage left by Hurricane Sally. The morning stroll is full of tranquility and solace.

There is a playground, a relaxing place to walk and a boat ramp to access the cove!

Really nice place. We like coming down to things there..... But there is hardly any parking which makes it hard to visit. I would think the city could think up something for parking

At the time of writing this there is a lot of hurricane damage. Before hand it was a good place to chill out and maybe play some pokemon go. Be warned there are some sketchy people that frequent the park.

It is sad. The boardwalk and piers are severely damaged from the storms. I will be happy to see it repaired.

Had a blast watching Luke Langford Band! Was a nice fun area to bring my 3 year old son for a live show.

This place has always been a favorite but has recently become damaged by natural causes but one might still find it appealing if only to see it through

Very beautiful park. Nice for the children & also the adults. Looked like it had an entry to the water for smaller boats & jet skis. It has a nice scenery view in quite a few spots.

Beautiful park. Very nicely kept up except there was no soap in the bathrooms. Directly on the water. Tons of wildlife that isn’t bothered by people visiting. Loved the Little Free Library, which had great books in it. Lots of quaint stores within walking distance.

Beautiful views and great place to sit and admire the beauty...

Tons and tons of shade on the playground. Sand floor, so expect the resultant mess of sand in shoes, etc. One slide is currently cracked at the bottom. I believe theyre upgrading the equipment in the next year. Beautiful open space in the park to walk, exercise or hang out. Lovely boardwalk along the water with views of the intercoastal. Right across the street from the backside of the main street of the FWB downtown area. Gets very crowded during events (farmers market, music series, art walk, etc).

Not a beach. Walking path and deep water access dock.This landing is in the heart of downtown Forth Walton. There is no sand banks or beach access. If you have a small boat its a nice location to access the water from the dock. We were looking fr a beach.

During the day this park is a fun and beautiful place to lounge by the water and go for a nice skateboard ride. Come nightfall it can get a little sketchy with all the homeless. But during the day its a very nice place.

Sept 19, 2020, we found The FWB Landing is currently closed, except for some curbside parking. This is probably due to aftermath of #hurricanesally. There were no set ups for normal Saturday morning farmer market vendors.

Great place! Newly renovated

The Landing is part of Fort Walton Beach just like your features are apart of you. Its the backdrop of homecoming photos, prom photos, and even some wedding photos. Its the peace and calm breeze you feel at night when you need to reflect on a long day or long week. Its home. Its the concert in the park. Its family. It becomes part of your family.

The Grandbabies loved it. Had a blast Nice little park and boardwalk.

The Landings is a park right on the waterway and views here are awesome. On Fridays they have bands that play there for FREE and they are very good also. They even have food trucks and vendors to sell you want you need.The park is very nice even without the bands and you can spend time here doing nothing or everything, your choice.

Pretty public park near some mounds. Walling trail and some gazebos and benches. Oh and a couple docks also. Really good views.

This is a gr8 park if you like to be monitored by the police . Their presence is so palpable that your safety is a guarantee. Its truly a beautiful green space right on the intracoastal waterway. So if a gr8 view with an uninspired mission statement..no personality and a No you may not lay your head down mentality is what you desire welcome to Downtown Fort Walton Beach. Where everyone is punished equally due to limited land and pandering.

Very nice and very popular. While we were there saw 1 wedding, 1 family photo session, and several prom groups getting photos. There was also 2 birthday parties going on so busy place. Lots to see and do. Spread out so not crowed even with everything going on. Good place to take family.

Great park, great views of the intercostal waterway. Awesome concerts on Friday’s. Great play area for kids. Clean restrooms. Plenty of places to sit and relax and watch the sailboats go by. I also enjoy going to their Farmers Markets on Saturday’s, lots of things to choose from.

I was reluctant to review this spot because it is so quaint and tucked away! However, for those who are implanted here...Ya GOTTA take the time to sneak in a picnic or just relax on one several well placed benches. There are gazebos, too! Shhh...but enjoy!

They are working to make this park better and better. It has not gone unnoticed. It is a good place to bring some people and relax at with a pretty good view of the sound.

I really only go to the landing maybe once a week. My friends and I get together and practice our swordsmanship for a full contact combat sport we play called Dagorhir. Love the area though

The playground is awesome. The park is beautiful. I love that there are picnic tables and a take a book, leave a book box. The bathrooms are disgusting, however.

Nice small bayfront park with a couple of Picknick Tables and a restroom. Also big enough for a 3 minute walk along the water.

Lovely space on the sound in downtown Fort Walton Beach. The park is usually neat and clean, and has enough benches and tables for the visitors. The new cdock and Boardwalk are pleasant to walk along even In the heat of summer on a cool winter day.

Found this place by accident while visiting. Theres a Dole whip stand nearby; I about lost my mind! Stop the car! Great park at sunset.

We happened across the Native American festival on our way from Destin. Perhaps the journey there was no mistake. I lived it! What I didnt like, was listening to beautiful flutes of native American origin and looked into the waters, lots of garbage, then a motor boat with nasty fumes, killed the moment.

Cool spot to chill. Not alot going on but still nice. Has a kids play gym so they can have fun. Great views of the Bay

This is an amazing park! There is shade over the park and a nice breeze coming off the water. The only draw back is the sand around the playground, you just have to make sure the kids knock their shoes out before you leave! Next to the playground is a great open grass area to run and play soccer, a dock next to water to stroll down and a great snow cone stand next door!

Food & Wine tasting today. The music is always great. Love the tranquil scenery. Great atmosphere for coupled or family.

Fun for the entire family

On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month they have a farmers market. Lots of vendors with a nice of okaloosa bay.

Good little place besides all the homeless people there tripping out

Its a great place to let your kids play. A super big playground. Plus they do farmers market on the weekends and all kinds of cool stuff there.

Clean, nice playground equipment. The farmers market is always a nice addition as well.

Was there for the Native American Music Echoes festival. The promoters of the event had excellent musicians, dancers from various tribes from all across North America. Very nice handmade instruments of different flutes, baskets, fascinating jewelry made from leather to look like various bird feathers. Beautiful weather. Could have used more food vendors but many restaurants within walking distance. Generally pleasant family atmosphere. Had raffles and a silent auction this year. Next years theme is the butterfly.

The emerald green water was absolutely beautiful, the sugary white sand was velvety to the touch and the beach scene was everything we expected.

This park is very beautiful, a park for kids, great view of the water, shade, and during christmas they put up lights all over the trees. The only bad thing about the park is their nasty bathrooms.

People need to stop throwing trash and the water and clean up Theirself

Such a wonderful park! This is in such a great area as well with gorgeous views! There is shopping near by and the city is always hosting events here!

This park has beautiful old shade trees and a small playground for kids. It has deep water access and plenty of parking. The Landing is a true oasis in the heart of Downtown Fort Walton Beach.
