This is a nice paddle! No current, no logs, no bugs. At times you got the gusting wind but you are sheltered from the trees. Many wildlife, many gators also. Its open with no canopy, but in feb. Its nice. Very scenic and one house by launch. No litter no trash hooray.

Nice long paddle west on Ten Mile Creek. Teeming with wildlife and not another soul around. Very relaxing place.

Ten Mile Creek is one of the most beautiful trails on the Treasure Coast. While it is a short trail at about half a mile, it is not completely flat! There are small hills and tree roots to climb over. We thought it made the trail more interesting and enjoyable. Also, its mostly shaded and dog friendly. Be aware that there are no bathrooms and you must pack out your own trash.

10 Mile Creek Preserve is well maintained with good shady walking trails. The trails have some small inclines and declines with exposed tree roots in the walking path and would be great for families with agile children and adults. The scenery is breathtaking. The trail is short about 1 mile with a small loop around the back. The trail follows the creek to the left with boggy marsh on the right. Lots of fun small wooden bridges. The entrance to the park has a beautiful 100 year old fig tree to the right. There is a canoe or small boat ramp. The boat ramp is not designed to launch power boats. There is a picnic table and plenty of shade. There is very little parking.

It is a nice place but just not one of my favorites in St Lucie County. The trails were very narrow and some very steep.

Wonderful for a stroll among lush hammock plants, next to a clean blackwater creek. Trail guide offers good info on natural and early human history.

Awesome place to kayak. Lots of wildlife. It is shaded pretty well so not too bad on a hot day.
