Sweetwater was a nice covered trail that is only about a mile or maybe a little less long are relatively flat clear trail we did see some bobcat tracks so that was nice as well as a couple of black snakes and the hammock if this area is just beautiful I posted a couple pictures so you can see the oaks as well as you all the different foliage

Anywhere you can pull out the old block and tackle and hoist yourself up into a tree so you can relax in your hammock is my kind of place. Love this place!

Very short easy trail. Extends from the parking lot 1/4 mile to the north fork river. There is a primitive water accessable area for launching a canoe or sup. The trail then loops back around another 1/4 mile to the parking lot. Trails are mostly wooded with old growth oak and palmetto palms. The terrain is flat with a mixture of sand, grass and leaves. There are two short bridges that span small areas of wetland which were flooded when we arrived. This very short hike is good for small children strollers and older dogs.

Always a great place to walk! its in the shade, keeping you cool on a hot day, but be careful if it has rained recently, a part of the trail gets a little muddy.

Great in town nature walk. I think St. Lucie County has done a fantastic job of saving these natural areas. Thanks...

One of several preserves in the area, with Kayak access to the river. However, it has a freshwater spring (dont recommend drinking from it). Picnic tables but no trash cans.
