I love Wa-Ke Hatchee Park. This is a free park with no parking fee required. The park is situated in South Fort Myers on the way to the beach. The park has many amenities for adults, children and pets. There are covered pavilions with grills for parties and get togethers. There are two sand volleyball courts, multiple tennis courts, multiple pickleball courts and a large open field for field sports or activities. There is a playground for the kids with a turf ground and covered seating for parents. The park has lightning detection equipment for safety. The park also features well maintained restroom facilities. For the fur babies the park features a full dog park. Theres plenty of parking and recreation center on site too.Its definitely work checking out!

Wow I dont know where to start first we went to lakes Park to take my dog on thecome to find out no animals allowed so the guy that works here mentioned just park over here and ever since we got here and theyre going to so many dogs my dog has not stopped playing my sons on playground playing themself man we are having the best time here and I recommend anybody whos anybody if you have a dog bring them here because they have a lots of fun

Fabulous park. So many amenities. Lovely walking path around the park and lake. Tennis courts, pickle ball courts, dog park, frisbee golf, playground, volleyball area, track, recreation center, open fields, trees, benches to relax on, restrooms. I had a lovely time here. Highly recommend.

The dog park is very nice and my first time there ppl were so nice with helping to learn how to take your dog off leash and I have not seen aggressive dogs. I was told a dog was brought in the large dog park on leash and the owner was unable to hold the dog and there was a lady knocked down. I wonder if a dog park class could be held there?? For newcomers

Good spot to take your dog to drain some energy running around with other dogs. Fenced park is simple but unique. Small one for the shy or small and large for the rowdy dawgs

The dog park is usually pretty badly maintained . Usually long grass and flooding not to mention the bugs are almost always bad. Not a lot of shade most times of the day.

Good spot to take your dog and kids, even be able to get a good job in on your own. Overall very satisfied

Get a family membership to the community center. Great dog park. Great playground for little kids. Big fields for frisbee, football, soccer, etc.
