Snell Park is a public-access city park just a few minutes from downtown Fort Myers. If the big downtown park on the river (Centennial Park) is too noisy or busy, stop here and enjoy a sunset on a bench feet from the water or sit in the grass in the shade of mature trees.

Really sad that the park was reduced so somebody could live in a giant house. My girlfriends pets have been buried by a tree that used to be a part of the park, but now they are buried underneath private property. I hope it was worth it to whoever sold that land to the people who had that gluttonous house built.

I have lived in Velencia Terrace for over 20 years. This is our park. It is a wonderful place to sit and feel the breeze on a hot summer day.

What a beautiful little out-of-the-way Park its a neighborhood park built by the snow family there is one bench theres not a lot of parking but the sunsets are beautiful and its very quiet!

Please do not go to this park unless you want to have an absolutely completely amazing experience. At The Rivers Edge you will be able to enjoy a sunset that will till till 8 titillate your retina and your rods and cones on the inside of your eyeball. You will enjoy sitting underneath a 100 year old ficus tree, which The Neighbor Next Door who was getting ready to build is threatening to chop off part of its roots & branches. And the neighbors of Snell parkour fighting this and have even had a few protests and meetings with City Zoning officials and park officials. If you respect wildlife and beautiful old trees wont you please join this movement and come to snell Park and enjoy yourself

This a very small park along the river, where you can get a great view of the surroundings. This is a beautiful and quiet place and they have this amazing tree, the ficus tree, with intertwinned root mingling at its bottom, quite a sight.

This is a great place to come down and watch the sunset quiet and peaceful and has an amazing ficus tree that someone is trying to cut down who is buying the lot next door. Today the community married the ficus tree
