My family of four, children 8 and 2, loved the sunset dolphin tour! It was so much fun! I personally couldnt stop laughing. We seen a ton of dolphins, birds, and was able to watch the sun set on the water. It was beautiful. Our tour guides, Captain Evan and First Mate Matt, were awesome as well! Very professional, friendly, informative, attentive, and pulled out all the stops to give us the best experience we could have! My family and I also felt very safe with Covid around as well. There were only 12 of us on the tour for a boat that normally holds 50. We were spread out and all had great views. The boat was also very clean and the staff took precautions. Would highly recommend this company for a dolphin tour and would definitely join them again for another tour. Thanks again Adventures in Paradise!

Wow!What an amazing experience. I’ve had several dolphin encounters and this was by far the best one! I’ve never seen such curious and playful dolphins before. We had the awesome experience of watching the dolphins play behind a bigger boat as we followed along. My husband and I just came in from a Sunset Dolphin and Wildlife Cruise with Captain Terry and First Mate Matt. Both were extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and the weather (that was going away from us rather than toward us). Water and soft drinks were readily available. We saw several dolphin, many birds, even a Bald Eagle perched in its neat. The sunset was stunning even through the clouds. The whole experience was set off by an excellent choice in a mixed playlist so there was literally something for everyone! We will definitely do this again when we come back to the area and look forward to the possibility of other boat tours with this fantastic group! Thanks so much to both Captain Terry and First Mate Matt! This was the perfect way to end our week-long vacation in Captiva!

This place went beyond my expectations. Besides the fact theyre reasonably priced, it was an amazing experience. We took the sunset dolphin cruise, and although it is usually by chance, we must have had good luck because we saw a few Dolphins. The sunset was beautiful as we watched it over the water on the boat. It was absolutely mesmerizing. They also do many other different types of cruises, including fishing and a private beach cruise. When I go back to Florida I plan on experiencing some of the others. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable also, which made the experience enjoyable.

We went for the Shelling & Lunch cruise to North Captiva Island and it was wonderful! Captain Jim and First Mate Bianca were both kind and very helpful. It took about one hour to get to North Captiva Island. We were then let off on the beach on North Captiva and set up with chairs and umbrellas if we wanted them. They asked us to return to the boat by 11:15, but other than that, we were allowed to swim, walk, shell collect, etc. The island was beautiful, the water was clear, and the shells were abundant! We then traveled around to the other side of North Captiva and were docked near the Mainstay restaurant. We brought our own lunch in a cooler (which I would highly recommend bringing your own) and then walked to the restaurant for a drink while everyone else finished eating. They only had bottled beer and they were $8 a piece, which is quite expensive for bottled beer in my opinion. After that, we traveled back to the port and searched for dolphins along the way. The Captain stopped twice at two different pods of dolphins for us to watch and take photos. They were beautiful. The value of this trip was spectacular! We’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I wouldnt recommend this company. They dont value their customers. We have been repeat customers in their Sanibel store since 2012! I finally heard back from Audrey after posting this review, and she stood firm that the company would not honor the store discount on our purchases made the day before we took the tour. Theyd only honor the discount after we took our tour. What a difference a day makes! We should have returned our items and bought them back right then instead of asking. Live and learn. Its all about doing the right thing, especially when it comes to the customer. Thanks for listening.

My husband and I along with good friends enjoyed an amazing morning dolphin cruise captained by Jim. Both the captain and Matt, the naturalist, were informative, fun, courteous and attentive. The captain steered the boat with expertise not only in finding us dolphins but also avoiding any roughness caused by the wakes of other boats in the channel. Matt pointed out wildlife above and below the water while answering all questions and happily taking photos of group members on board. We got to see two bald eagles as well as many seabirds. But the true stars of the cruise were the dolphins! We got almost close enough to touch as they playfully swam toward and around the boat. An experience to remember!

Captain Jim and First Mate Matt were very personable and knowledgeable about the islands and surrounding sea life. Super nice and personable.Evan made several successful attempts to show us dolphins and manatee we passed along the way. This tour particularly is not for people who may have trouble climbing a ladder off a boat in and out of water. The stop on the island required a little submersion to make it off the boat and on the beach. For the two hours or so we were on the beach the crew did setup chairs and umbrellas which you would think is a huge hassle for 40 people but they did it! Which was great to have shade on the beach. Huge plus.Would recommend to anyone looking for a boating experience and beach adventure that you wont get from a public beach.

I rate Captain Jim and Captain Andrew 5 stars for their service aboard the boat and informational tour of the area while motoring to North Captiva Island. However, I rate the adventure on the island 4 stars because the shell collecting was no better than what we have found on Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Beach, and South Captiva beaches. In fact, my family and I have actually found nicer shells on other beaches in the area, which didnt require a boat-ride to get to.As for the boat-ride, it was great! The Captains provided us with beverages - water and three flavors of soda (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Sprite) - while aboard the boat. When we arrived and anchored at North Captiva Island (on the Gulf side), we had about 30 minutes of solid rain, but after the rain the weather and temperature was quite comfortable. When it was time to end our shell-collecting and leave the (Gulf-side) beach, we went around the North end and arrived at Barnacles. Barnacles is the only restaurant on the island, and thats where we had lunch. The grilled, Mahi Mahi Sandwich was delicious! It can be fried or blackened, too, if my memory serves me. My daughter had the kids Hot Dog meal (which she enjoyed). You may know this already, as it is indicated on the brochure and website, lunch is not included, so expect to pay island prices (because youll be on an island). After lunch we cruised back to the marina, but took our time at various spots to observe the dolphins. We got to see a young dolphin with its mother and pod, which was pretty cool. Id also like to note that the Captains of the boat also had a pail of nice shells that they offered to everyone aboard, so we didnt go home with just a bunch of cruddy, broken shells, which is pretty much all we found on the island. In summary, we agreed that it was a nice adventure and wed likely return in the future.

They addressed safety right away and we felt safe the entire time.We saw lots of dolphins, and also manatees and lots of birds. They were great about narrating the cruise without being overly talky or annoying. They also took us to the perfect spot to capture some amazing sunset photos. We had First Mate Matt again, as well as Megan (in training) and Captain Evan. All three were totally professional, informative, helpful and caring. I cannot recommend this enough! If you want something fun to do thats really a great deal for the price, TAKE THIS CRUISE.The place they take you is about an hours boat ride and is loaded with shells, you dont have to look hard to find tons of them! They even set out beach chairs and umbrellas for your comfort, though I never used them as I was busy getting shells! Then they boat you over to a restaurant on the island (I think the ONLY restaurant on the island) where you can buy your lunch. The food was good and the staff of that place were great! Then you get back on the boat to head back to Ft. Myers, but we took our time as there were lots of dolphins in the bay, and the crew stopped so we could see them! That wasnt part of the cruise, but exemplifies how this company operates--to give you the best possible experience!Ive done a lot of excursions over the years in all kinds of locales. It isnt common to have this level of customer service and high quality experience at such an affordable price. FIVE STARS

Went out this evening on the sunset cruise with captain Larry and first mate matt. It was an amazing experience, saw beautiful sunset, dolphins, and all kinds of other wildlife! They made the trip super personalized by having free drinks and offering to take group pictures. Would 100% recommend worth every penny !

Captain Jim and first mate Matt were great for our daytime shelling cruise and we got to see a lot of dolphin pods swimming nearby on the way out and back. Everyone was nice and friendly and extremely helpful. Id certainly recommend doing this if youre in the area.

We had an awesome time on our shelling cruise. Captain Evan and First Mate Matt H. did a great job. They were friendly, knowledgable, and made sure everyone on board, including the kids, had a great time. Hanging out at the beach and getting to see some dolphins up close was a lot of fun. We can’t wait to go on another cruise when we are back in town.

Jay and Jane were great! Saw a dolphin jump right in front of the boat before we were out of the harbor. It was a perfect trip when we saw two different pods of dolphins and lots of bird species.

My wife and I went on the Sunset Dolphin cruise, it was great. The captain and first mate were very friendly and had lots of knowledge to give. They brought us to a few different locations to see the wild dolphins. We also got the opportunity to see all the sea birds coming back in for the night.
