Good place for a morning walk or jog. The Florida Strangler Fig Tree is a thousand year old piece of mother natures art piece. Nice views of the marshes and a variety of bird wildlife.

First time there. A very nice walk between the various ponds full of fish and birds. I was greeted by a rather large soft shelled turtle the second I got there who was basking on the bank. And I managed to spot and photograph about a five foot alligator just taking in the sun. All in less than a half hour!

Great easy walk with lots of quiet nature. Path is paved.

It would have got 5 had there been enough alligators to justify the number of signs warning us about them.

I fell in love with this tree! While taking different pictures I started to notice ALL THE GARBAGE that was litterednall.around in and out of the branches. I spent an hour of my lunch break to clean it up. Such beauty I hate to see it so dirty. I found a room full.of carpet that the tree grew through it had been there so long so I got as much as I could.

Was nice and windy that day! Fishing was a no luck twice that weekend I was told they did recently clean up that side I was on so Im planning to make another trip over there this weekend if the weather isnt bad. I was told to try around the long walk from Woodside its supposed to be better. Also their was reports of Alligators seen around this place back in 2016 so be warned.. They appear to be juveniles but their could be bigger ones out around.

Nice, wide walking trails, playground, and nice views. The only downside is the amount of trash, especially around the banyan trees.
