Took a walk out there one October morning. Temperature was perfect around 75 degrees F. This spot is popular with the locals for biking / walking along the canal.My 2-year old boy had a blast on the slides and swings. Got to see bunnies, ton of squirrel and early morning grub hunt by the birds.The dirt walking path along the pond does not give you a good view of the pond. I was hoping to catch big birds, gator or big fish jumping.Outdoor gym setup looks brand new and in very good conditions. In fact, childrens play area looks in great shape. All new and well maintained, with full thick layer of soft mulch.

Great park, nicely kept. Fenced Swings, slides, climbing equipment, separate exercise equipment, nature trails, bike trail (across Veronica Shoemaker, leading from park) perfect for all ages.

The park is very peaceful early in the morning, lots of squirrels and rabbits. The bathrooms are pretty disgusting though. No soap.

This place is beautiful

Not a lot going on here. But good to stretch your legs. No breeze and plenty of No See Ums out for a meal.

Some of the play grout equipment is falling apart. Needs to be fixed for the kids safety.

I hope they get the homeless problem fixed here. If you dont go early dont go at all.

I lived near here for 2 years and enjoyed many walks or ran along the trail. Lots of wildlife to see and the occasional homeless person or drug addict. I never felt threatened. I just minded my business and appreciated the beauty around.

They need to fix the picnic area it was a good place to go not anymore city dont want to fix it at all. The bath rooms are locked. What kind of place is that dont take your kids there go somewhere else.

The trail is awesome to ride.

This is a really nice park its not huge but its a nice space for kids to run around and get some energy out. I have had at my daughters birthday party at this park to so its a good Park.

All new playground even work out area for adults and children and nice cute little walk you can go down a path with a lake quiet andeven has a little areas for you to sit with shade picnic tables water fountain and bathrooms to use

Excellent small park and beginning point for a hike or bike ride along the many miles of the linear park paved trail.

It was a little chilly today but took my Dragon for a walk and was fun. She chased the birds. Very clean and peaceful

Love this place, theres alitte lake behind it and its quiet and peaceful. Has a good playground set with a rock wall and exciting obstacles for active children. Shady, clean, and secluded. Liked it alot.

They have NO GRILLS bathrooms with no lights and park was completely disgusting. I had to walk around picking up trash from a previous party. Beer cans, candy wrappers, juice boxes etc. Spent a whole hour cleaning it up. I couldnt even change my baby in the restroom. The baby changer station had poop smeared all over it. No toilet paper either. Thank goodness i always bring clorox wipes to wipe down the toilets and our own toilet paper. This park is not well kept.

Nice peaceful place to relax and get a piece of mind until night falls and you hear all kinds of movement and activity but see no one or nothing

Decent park to stage taking the linear park (bike and walking trail). Parking, rest rooms, picnic shelter and a play area.

This is an ideal park for the kids to play in and possibly have a picnic.

I love this place you feel like relax!

A nice stroll but there are vagrants that occupy the woods and the playground picnic area. Never any trouble but ones instinct is to be cautious.
