This is a super lovely place to hike or bike along the Poudre river and watch the sunset. Butterfly Woods runs along the Poudre Canyon trail, and some private property. Its right beside an epic cascading bridge along the river. Theres picnic tables nearby along the river, across the street. Great place to bring the whole family!

Beautiful location for photos! I took our office photos here, and all the changing leaves and the bridge here made for some great photos! Nice bike trail or great for walking.

Often people blocking the bridges trying to take pictures, and kiss of folks dont clean up after their dogs here. But it is a pretty place.

Always have a good walk through here. Only issue Ive had with this place is a police officer confronted me for being at the park past 11 o clock which apparently isnt legal. Even though this page clearly said open 24 hours. It is not open 24 hours its open until 11pm.

Nice walk area. But people needed to have dogs on leash. (They will be ticketed) watch for snakes in warmer weather.

Small natural area along the river. It has no trails or river acess. Poudre River Trail goes through it and then across the river.

This is easily one of the most beautiful places in Fort Collins. Ideal for anything from a morning walk to Senior Photos, this is the home of Butterfly Bridge, an incredibly beautiful bridge which spans the Poudre River through a lush cottonwood forest. This is an amazing place for everyone from toddlers to college students to seniors. If youre ever in FoCo, this is a must see!

This is an open space and bike trail, accessible from the Poudre River Trail. Park at Lions Park in Laporte and hike or bike over the iron bridge. Originally the farm of wonderful people Jim and Margaret Hyde. This place was donated to the city so everyone can enjoy. Be sure to stop at the stone bench and read whats written there.
