First time hiking on this trail. Not bad. Its narrow and rocky. Incline as you begin then plateau as you circle the hill until it returns you to the parking lot. No trees means no shade. I recommend it if youre like me and want the trail to yourself. Not many hikers here.

A wonderful open space located just on the northwest outskirts of town. There are two parking lots: one off of Overland Trail near Headwater Drive (cross-street) and the other near the end of Michaud Lane. Both parking areas have a vault toilet restroom, waste bins and dog waste bag stations. Maps are also provided at each location. The walk from the Overland Trail parking area is relatively flat and easy-going. After almost 1.5 miles the trail meets up with the trail coming from the Michaud parking area, and then the climbing begins. The hike to the top can be done in a loop, with one path leading south and the other north, and both directions can be completed in a full circle. The view from the top at the north end overlooking Pleasant Valley and the town of Bellvue. Simply incredible!

Free parking! Dogs allowed on leashes. The top of the trail was really rocky but the bottom wasnt as bad. If its sunny there isnt alot of shade spots, but overall this is an excellent spot. Easy hike that is a loop and then also other trails that go downhill, they seem to go somewhere else, but I just did the loop.

Excellent, easy trail for all ages the lower half is a long double lane path which you could easily take a stroller with big weals on. The top half is very rocky but perfect for hiking or mountain biking. It is highly recommended for an easy to moderate hike or bike ride.

This is one of my favorite local hikes! It has various access points that make the hike either really long to perfect in length to what feels like straight up and short. You can make it a loop or go there and back again. Various options with how long you hike as well. The best is the vantage point it takes you up to! There is an amazing view of the town and of the reservoir both. Yes you can have the best of both worlds! The trail is varied from packed dirt single track to rocky pay attention where you step track. One thing is consistent though, theres not much shade so go in the morning or bring shade layers and enough water. The terrain is beautiful with fields home to wildflowers, sage and every now and again a cactus. Stop every now and again and just take it in. We are so lucky to be able to be in such a beautiful place!
