Lovely park full of lovely people. it’s nestled right next to the foothills. i went roller skating for the first time and the sidewalks are really smooth, perfect for beginners like me :) there’s also a huge dog park there and plenty of people walking pets around

A lovely and large park, right below the foothills, with older cottonwood trees around creeks and ponds and a great mix of modern facilities.

This is one of the best parks in Fort Collins. Its big with lots for kids to explore. Theres a field, too, and a nature trail, but the best part is the splash pad in the Summer. It has bathrooms with little potties for little kids, and a giant changing table for changing just about anyone. They have a little play ground for more toddler aged kids, too. Its also a great spot for older kids and adults, because when it gets dark its great for hide and go seek tag. Also its perfect for extreme games of groundless. Its awesome.

We love taking Kaliko to the dog park, my daughter loves to go to the skate park and my wife and I love to just sneak away from time to time and go for a hike.

A lot of open areas, trees and a nice trail. Away from busy roads. Great view of moon rises.

Amazing park! Great skate park, massive playground, and clean restrooms. These are the only features we utilized but there is so much more.

I come here with my dog all the time and its been great so far. The dog park had a separate area with a pond for dog to swim in. The only complaint I have is that the pond isnt treated and since covid has happened it seems like nobody has done any maintenance with things like weeding. This wouldnt be an issue except for someone claimed that the pond has been tested positive for some algea that was giving the dogs bad diarrhea and yet that section of the park remained open for way too long without any type of notice that there was algea present. I dont have proof of this since it was just a claim but if its true the least the parks department could have done was put up a sign. Overall though I really love this park. In addition to the dog park theres a small skateboard park, tennis courts, fields to run in, and an awesome playground for kids!

It doesnt have the most updated equipment for a playground but it does have trails, picnic area with canopy and restrooms. Also a b ball court and lake. Its nice.

A great multipurpose park with high quality paths and great scenery. A great place for a walk, a soccer match, or anything you want.

Awesome place for recreation! Biking, bmx, trails, skatpark, basketball, etc. Friendly people fornthe most part, youll get a couple Karens but thats par for suburbia!

Only been here once but our 8 and 4 yr olds loved it. Great splash park, some shade, good playground structure. Also a good set of trails to the surrounding areas.

Fantastic layout and quality of upkeep. Excellent variety of amenities from multiple playgrounds and water features, pond for fishing, bike trials course, skatepark, ball fields, picnic areas and close proximity to other protected open space. This park has it all!

Spring Canyon Park is well-maintained and has something for everyone. Nice walkways, skate park area, tennis courts, softball diamond, tribute to the military, playground and, of course, the dog park area! I enjoyed walking around with my dog. Parking area is nice and big, too.

Big, beautiful park with great courts! Thanks Parks n Rec for letting pickleball happen there! Only thing that could improve is letting the lights come on a little earlier, some cloudy nights its been hard to see after 7:30.

Stunning views nice and wide open spaces

Its great for children big all ages, its got plenty for active adults, such as basketball courts, and tennis courts.

While it is a great park, use caution as all of the rules may not be clear and the code 4 security guards are apparently incentivized to try and turn a small misunderstanding into something more.

By far my favorite park in Fort Collins. The playground is perfect for my son. The Spring Creek trail stops here as well.

One of our favorite parks. Very clean. Cant wait to go back when the splash pads are available. A bonus, this place is beautiful.

Strictly leaving a review so people are aware the tennis courts can be reserved. Tennis player will learn the hard way when pickleball players converge and basically walk across the courts - in the middle of points - because their reserved times are coming up. The courtesy may vary.

Great park and absolutely huge! Went down to the skateboard park and would recommend only older kids and experienced riders go.

This park is wonderful. Huge dog park, complete with a pond for them to swim in.I take my dogs to the dog park almost every day. There are several playgrounds for kids, a skate park, a number of pavilions and picnic tables, a veterans memorial, walking paths, courts for basketball and volleyball and fields for other sports. Plus access to bike and hike trails, with loads of prairie dogs and other wildlife, as well as some rare plants found only in Colorado.

Beautiful park! At sunrise, sunset and all the time in between! Right next to the foothills...watch out for rattlesnakes! Pay close attention to the trails along the perimeter. Youll see bull snakes, rabbits, fox and lots of frogs and just as many birds too!

Great place to bring your dogs. There were several aggressive boxer-types roaming apparently unmonitored, so we happily used the small dog section. Happy tails!

Coolest park Ive ever been to. My family and I went there on a on a road trip from Texas. The back drop is beautiful, the playgrounds are amazing, great place to take the kids.

Great for kids...... But if your the person who is watching them as a parent or a guardian or day care worker, etc..... better bring a lot of sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and anything else to keep you cool. There is like two spots with shade, but they usually get taken fast.

The best park in Fort Collins. Huge playground that has two parts for older and younger kids. Trails going all around an through. Connects to bike paths, has a dog park, there is a splash park attached. Lots of open space to run around in or play sports. This is by far my kids favorite place to play in town.

All of the public parks in FoCo are basically PRISTINE. This one is no different. All kinds of sport courts (most w/ lighting), baseball diamonds, and lush grass.Also possibly has the best dog park in town as well :)

Even during the winter, its still a fun place to go. Just remember to bundle up! Its also a good place for the winter cause its not too crowded.

Greatest park in FoCo! Nestled up against the mountain. Nice walking paths, the playground is super fun and the Dog park available has an all around good group of daily goers. Frequently visit and will continue to do so!

Stopped here for my toddler to take a break from a long road trip and I am SO glad we did! This park was amazing! Sprinkler section was perfect on that hot and humid day and the playground equipment was updated and lots of fun. Beautiful views and the area was very well kept. We loved it here!

This is one of the best dog parks Ive ever been to. It is huge and even has a lake! However, be prepared to bathe your pup immediately after visiting :)

Great variety of things to climb on and swing from. Id probably hang there without my 2 year old if it wasnt socially unacceptable. Bathrooms were in good condition, too.

I love this park. Very clean and safe for the kids. The park have a good size for exercising. In summer time the sprinklers for the kids star working and that is a lot fun for the kiddos.

My kids loved this place. The good people of Fort Collins are extremely lucky to have a park like this be able to spend time outdoors. Im not an ADA expert, but most of the playground matting looks to be wheelchair accessible. For parents there are great walking paths.

Great place to ride at a skate park and run around with friends

We are not from this side of town. But if we were I would be here every day its something else. Its huge lots of space to play. Tons of play ground equipment. And a great water park. Please build one in every town.

The Spring Creek Park is gorgeous! Nestled into the foothills, the views are stunning! The sunsets are spectacular. There are miles of paved bike trails, a wonderful dog park, picnic shelters, a giant play ground for kids, swings galore, and a water feature! The fun is truly endless!

Great place to go walk around and enjoy the views of the foothills. They also have a great dog park and playground are for the kids to enjoy. I often take my little guy here to run around and play with the other kids. There is also a small water play area for the kids when the summer starts.

Nice and big with lots of sidewalks to get around. Huge open areas, but that being said, theres not a ton of shaded areas. It does connect to Spring Creek Trail, which goes E->W in Fort Collins and connects to other parks! Several areas to host large parties with picnic tables. A wonderful playground with great obstacles for kids to explore! Its great for long walks!

This place is wonderful. There are so many areas of the park to hang out at and enjoy a walk, plus theres a dog park and areas to play sports. The view is really great because youre very close to the foothills. I was very glad to find this hidden gem!

Nice park with a cool playground for the kids. Lots of walking trails and green space. The restrooms were nice and clean but there was limited shaded areas to cool off in. Also the parking lot was crowded and be sure to lock your vehicle! Our ride was hit by some punks thru an unlocked back hatch and we list some valuables.

Such a great park and playground! Kids of all ages will enjoy this one and it has a splash park in the summer.

There is a lot to do at this park. Really like all the trails to walk bike or run on.

Nice place to run, they have a dirt trail next to the cement one. Popular park.

I like how large the space is. My dog likes to start his visit with fetch and there is a lot of space for him to really run. The substrate is gravel, which is less harsh on my dogs paws than wood chips. I also really love the pond in the summer. My dog will play much longer on the pond and gets really good exercise from swimming.

One of the best parks in town. I remember fond moments with my family at this park. Its the kind of park that just encourages people of all ages to just relax and have fun. Great views, big open fields, a natural area type feel, I can go on all day about how great this park is but I think Ive gotten my point across.

Its perfect for everyone - walkers, bicyclists, skateboarders, kids, dogs!

What can I say?! I love this place. I got married to the most beautiful woman, the love of my life here. My favorite bike loop in Fort Collins includes ripping down from Harmony to Overland through the park! Great open space!
