Really nice park, but unfortunately its home to many homeless people. They are nice and friendly but whenever we visit there are no picnic tables available since so many homeless live there.
Good places for dogs to run around. Theres no shade so would be hot on a sunny summer day.
Wonderful dog park that is not as frequented as the other urine soaked ones in town. Little shade and no water so be prepared.
Remote, but yet so close to town. Nice park.
This place has a lot you can do. From a nice walk to a run courts to use nice view fishing.lot of good parking yep yep yep
Its quiet and well kept. Plenty of parking.
Needs more trash can around
Great park even has outlets
A great spot
Playground. Dog park. Volleyball court. Lots of open space. Covered picnic area.
Large grassy areas, paved parking, shaded picnic area and plumbed bathrooms. Sand volleyball court and off leash dog park are at the far side of the park away from the lot. Access to Salyer Natural area trail at the lot. Juvenile trees so very little shade.
Nice little gem of a dog park. Not many amenities, but a nice space.
It is a very small Doggie Park with small walking trails going around the Creek. Dog owners are not following the rules of removing the feces, so it is not as nice as it could be. The trails are really nice easily encompassing a small area around the park, although biking might be a bit of a problem due to the fact that it is just a very rustic trail. The trails dont have concrete, instead a trail of rocks abutting a trailer park.
This park is often empty or has few visitors, thus making it a fun time for dogs and humans who prefer a more calm park. The views are nice and theres a short walk or ride to the river, as its easily accessible from the bike trail. Theres a pond, playground, pump track, new volleyball court and a large dog park. Bring water for yourself and your pup. Theres no shade and the parking lot and playground are far from most activities.
Fort Collins has nice parks. This one is insanely underutilized because the location is weird. Expect people smoking pot in the parking lot and a surprising number of off-leash dogs. I appreciate the underutilized aspect as Fort Collins does not have enough dog parks and the other ones are too crowded.
Love this little park when I need a quite place with my thoughts or a family adventure on the trail! Its ALWAYS super clean though I wish other visiters would not leave their needles in the porta potty!
Nice well kept park, with plenty to do, very enjoyable
This is a newer park off hickory st in ft collins its close to the bike trail along the pouder trail great place to catch some sun and have a outdoor. Bbb Q. Or basket lunch its very charming and historic river it uses to be called lovers paradise by the local young lovers theres great fishing a stones thiow from here mcmury ponds and pouder river is one fertile river theres a wide variety of fish species along with lots of wild criters wondering the river bottom
Mostly grass and a path, but cool dog park area and views.
Small park with a nice playground. Two basketball courts and one baseball feild. Dog park!
This is a great hidden gem
Drove here just to walk around a little before going on a brewery tour. Sizable parking lot on the south side of the park, accessed through an industrial area. The southern side of the park includes a playground for kids as well as some restrooms. There is a softball field and sizable grass field for pretty much any activity. In the northern end of the park there is a bmx-style dirt trial for people to jump their bikes or whatever as well as an enclosed dog park. A paved and dirt loop encircles the park and to the west there are a few more trials for the Magpie Meander Natural area, as well as a deck overlooking the small pond there.
Mediocre dog park. Mostly dirt/mud and quite a bit of poop left from other visitors. Went midday and it was empty. Sweet grey stray cat hanging around though.
There is a variety of terrain here plus your able to see the beaver building their dens
Great place, out of the main path. Quiet and clean
What a great dog park -CLEAN, -grassy,/ not over crowedWorth the drive. After seeing hoursetooths filthy park.Only thing, you have to Bring your own water and dish.Small price to pay for a CLEAN yard for you dog
Great park, exceptional playground, ample parking. Its a hidden gem on the north side
Torn... the park itself and all that it has to offer like pump track, basketball court, open field, trails, and a big doggie park makes for a great area for pet parents and families. However, the people that hang out there constantly are questionable.
This dog park is not worth a drive to. Its a small fenced in area of weeds, no trees or shade. To get to it from parking at the park its a bit of a walk. Theres no water either. I think the park is primarily intended for the use of the trailer park that it is next to because I really cant imagine why anyone would bother driving out to it. There were no dogs there when I went in the middle of the day on a Saturday. It doesnt look like it is used much either. I guess it could be a good option if you just need a fenced area to do some one-on-one training with your dog.
After 2 years, Britt is still spot on. We needed a place to get the dogs out of the car on a long trip and were near Jax. We had an elderly dog and my husband doesnt walk well long distances. GPS took us to the parking area on the south side of the park. There is a sign as you enter the parking lot that says dog park is on the north side. There was a park employee and city cop bear the bathrooms. I asked if there was closer parking to the dog park and they said, not unless you want to park I. The trailer park. Didnt want to try to find that entrance so we started walking. Needless to say, all the dogs had peed before we got to the dog park and my husband and the elderly dog didnt make it very far at all. Not sure whos idea this was, but Britt is correct. If you want one on one time with your dog, this is the place.
Great place for my dog would be nicer if had dog fountainsAnd more trash cans
I took my dogs to this park on our way from Utah to Florida. I have one that is basically an escape artist and walks along fences to find holes. Hes 8 lbs and didnt find any he could fit through. The park is a large, green space with picnic tables and trash cans for waste. Owners seem to pick up after their dogs really well and the few owners I met there were very friendly and very aware of their dogs. My AmStaff pup was accepted and not banned which is a popular issue for Pitbulls. Friendly people, friendly dogs, and a big grassy space helped my dogs get some energy out before a 10 hour drive. Highly recommended for anyone, but especially those traveling.
Trails to the open space. BMX/RC track. Dog park and softball field. Bathroom with playground
Nice hike that stays on the north side of the Poudre River.
This is a quite dog park.
Great park
It’s a bit of a walk to the dog park. There is no parking closer by, there’s a trailer park right behind it and there’s not enough shade and water. This is not one dog park I would recommend
Small pavillion barbecues picnic tables playground basket ball court box course off road trails that go around a few ponds and links to the river trails can also fish the ponds
