This playground is awesome. Son loves to play and run around. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it’s a little rusty. Son hit his head on one of the walk ways going under it and had a rust mark on his head. I think HoCo just needs to repaint or rubber it again.

Spacious park with a large playground for children. Has several tennis courts and soccer / baseball fields. Also has a large outdoor covered place that has many large tables where you can eat which is fully covered. I think it has barbaque pits around the tables..All in all a nice family spot for the summer.

My kids love playing here. After theyre done playing, theres lots of nice walking/Razor Scoot paths.

I call this The Playground of Fifteen Slides. Because thats how many I counted. Mightve missed one, of course. Theres a very large apparatus with plenty of built-in shade. Lots of things to kids to climb, slide, crawl and clamber on. Pretty clean area with facilities and a picnic pavilion. Nice, chill vibe from the many families visiting. At least in my experience. Worth a visit.

I love bringing my little guy to this playground when there arent too many older kids, or in the early morning/late evening. the smaller part for 2 to 4 year olds is cute and very nice, but the space for older kids is way more interesting and fun and since he can climb up to most parts of it, he likes to be there most.

Very nice park. The playground was open which looked weird seeing kids playing on the equipment. Those little covid spreaders were everywhere.

Great playground but I wish they had swings. Also there are a lot of steep drops on the playground for older children that scare me with my 2 year old. Since you have to walk past the big playground to get to the one for younger kids it can be a bit hard to redirect him. I usually end up following him around the larger playground.

Absolutely Beautiful the walking trails, the trees, flowers and a sunny day. So Beautiful that a young couple did a virtual wedding.

Very large playground. Ground under is padded. 5+ main park. Seperate 2-5 section. A parts need repair, but general does not take away from enjoyment.

Appears to be pretty clean and well kept. Parts of the jungle gym were blocked off with plywood and zip ties, no obvious malfunction but still able to access. Also, larger playground = more crowd.

Enormous playground with a larger area for bigger kids and smaller area for small kids. All rubber floor, no wood chips.

Lots of kids and room to play. My 6yr old really loves all the things to climb on and explore. Great place!!Also, other parents dont seem to mind or stare when I breastfeed my infant son so thats a huge plus. ^.^

Still not a safe place to visit during the pandemic. The use of mask are not enforced at this playground. Expect to see children and adults not 6feet apart and not masked. There were a few families that made their children wear mask. No sanitizing stations as well.

Kids love this place. It has a great playground and I recommend going early, say 8am before too many kids show up, especially if you have younger ones.As mine have grown up, weve used the paved paths for scootering, biking, rollerblading, running, and walking.Basketball courts with different heights for all ages. Great place!

What a great park! Its huge ton of stuff to keep the kids busy. A great plus to the playground is that its covered w some sort of safety foam to cushion falls.

Is it is a family-friendly place

Wonderfully spacious playground thats accessible for kids in strollers & wheelchairs. Benches for parents and even potty facilities right at the edge of the playground.

This is a great place for kids large playground a nature trail for running or walking a picnic area also a large tennis court and basketball court with clean bathrooms we love it

I really enjoy this playground! Its pretty enclosed but still big! I like the smaller aged playground as well. Lots of exploration options for kids off all ages here!

Fun park but giving it three stars because it’s nearly impossible if you take two kids. If you have young kids and need to keep an eye on both, the park is too big to do that. Bring another adult with you!

I dont like this park for kids. Too crowded and all I see is kids milling around on this raised platform, barely doing anything. Theres advanced things like swing bars and a rock wall but they gets unused, and because everything is low to ground its like a 10 toddler slides without anything for older kids. Also, no swings. Its the epitome of fun traded away for safety and going there makes me sad. Come at me Howard County Parks & Rec.

The place is huge! And the ground is that padded squishy stuff! Best playground around by far!

One of the largest outdoor playgrounds in Howard county. Nestled up against a paved tail and away from a busy intersection, youll miss it if you werent looking for it. Easy access from 29 and close to major shopping, your errands are easy to do!Theres even a tennis court and large baseball field.

Great place! Lots of space for games. Only one thing is missing for my child - swing... Its will be perfect to have some

Nice and clean

Weve taken our kiddos here for years and cant express enough gratitude for having such a wonderful local park in the area. The walking paths near the park are a blast too. They have signs that describe the local landscape and our kiddos have fun learning about the local insects and animals.

I’m too old now to play in the playground, but if I could, I totally would! This place features a mini rock climbing wall, floating rotating monkey bars, slides, stepping stones and more. The best part for worried parents is the soft rubber ground underneath that will protect your young ones if they fall. There’s also walking paths nearby, and an outdoor basketball court.There’s also a tiny shaded areas with benches if your lucky enough to grab them. There’s a lot to do at this park that can accommodate everyone’s hobbies, and I highly recommend this place!

It mostly clean when I visit. And has good walking ground. Even though there is a lot of people, it is still peaceful

Busy playground with lots of sturdy equipment for kids to play, climb, slide and run on. Very convenient to access from multiple highways, and with shopping and food nearby if you want to combine any activities.

Right next to Elkhorn Lake! Great place for a quiet and safe walk after dinner!

Traveled from the other side of Baltimore to visit this park. Was not disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed the kid playground and more importantly, the kids did also. Took a walk on the numerous paths and unbeknownst to my kids, that was a good physical activity event. My old school movie rating for the park is, Two thumbs up!.

Big huge playground. Well maintained...could do with more shade but cant knock them off a star for that.

Great playground for kids. It is kinda big so littles can be hard to find sometimes though they do have a small playset for littles if you can get them to stay there.

Wonderful park in between Old Ellicott City and Columbia. Only complaint is the narrow ramp that gets you from the parking lot and the playground, as two adults cant pass one another without turning sideways, and if someone has a stroller or wheelchair, no one can pass.

Very nice location. All the kids have a great time. My son loves the place. Actually took him there today for 2 hours!!!

I would advise you add more shade around the playground. Metal gets extremely hot in the summer. Other than that, great facility.

Safe place for a quick run or walk on a circuit of paved trails w/sculpted views.Indoor athletic complex hosts a spread of outdoor courts, basketball and tennis, as well as fields for additional team sports.Too sterile when looking for a more remote, woodland experience.

Nice little Hidden Gem playground. I had no idea even existed, but my niece and nephew absolutely loved it. A lot of different options for kids to play with, and my nephew definitely enjoyed the fossil under the fake rock. The rock climbing wall was fun for the kids, but definitely keep an eye on him there were a few loose rocks. Water fountain had surprisingly cold water, it was a nice touch.

This playground is huge and below is the soft ground. Lots of different obstacles like firemans poles and monkey bars. No swings but thats ok because the kids will be occupied with the enormity of the playground. Has beautiful tennis courts and basketball courts too!

We drive 25 minutes to come here. Its a large playground with lots of different climbing structures. Great padding underneath. The people who come have been very friendly too.

Good place to bring your kids, have seen people celebrating birthday or having small party.Theres a basketball court, tennis court and a baseball ground as well.Overall one of the best place in MD for kids and young adults.

Very nice overall, but there were a bunch of boards closing up tunnels and areas on the playground. No swings is a bummer too.

Love this park! There is a big kids area and tot area as well as a walking trail.

The playground has lots of fun features that are really unique like the wheel based monkey bars. Ample parking, good benches, and clean bathrooms make it a fantastic visit. The slides are plentiful and varied and it has that springy foam flooring that is so much better than mulch.

Nice and fairly neat childrens playground. Bathroom almost never works and has no water. They have a bunch of tennis courts and basketball courts. Lots of walking trails.

The family always have a great time. Public bathrooms being available is a plus

Very nice. They have a playground, Basketball court, bike trail, a pavillion with several long tables and if you wanted to grill its allowed. Two public restrooms are on the premises as well.

Google maps only posts a time for opening to close, but it is from sunrise to sunset I believe. It is a good park with a large playground and a smaller one for younger kids. Both are well made and maintained with skill. I like it.

Big playground for kids. Only negative is that its not enclosed in. The kids can easily run off from any direction without close supervision. Other than that, it would be a 5 star

Very nice playground that I took my daughter and nephew too. They even had a basketball court and trail that you could walk your pets on!

Huge playground, nice tennis courts, b ce walking trails

This is an incredibly fun complex of interconnected playsets. Its also not a great place for anxiety ridden helicopter parents. Suspended bridges, tubes, skywalks, and huge slides abound with what would be high fall hazards to uncoordinated or clumsy individuals. Naturally, we have a great time every time.

Great play ground with lots of equipment and a nice blue rubber ground. Kids both loved it (5 and 9). Could use more shade, but they do have covering over some benches. No swings. Nice separate area for smaller kiss. Bathroom right next to the playground. Tennis courts and basketball courts next to the playground. There is a building around the corner, but I am not sure what is in it, and several baseball fields.

My kids love this place. Its a great big park with lots of things to climb on and a lot of slides. Theres a couple little walking trails too if you want a break from playground noise. I like that theres actual bathrooms here instead of porta potties.
