An fantasy farm experience - a laid back, outside enjoyable outing for the family with kids 3-12.With the very old Enchanted Forest Nursery Rhyme creations such as the Three Pigs Houses, the Old Lady in the Shoe, and many more, the setting is full of memories from childhood for older folks and a new world for the children. Couple this with hayrides, a cow train(?), an authentic pumpkin toss (up to 100 feet!), mazes, goats, a horse ride, rabbits and other farm denizens this is a unique experience for a very modest fee. My Grandchildren loved it!
This was our first time going to Clarks Farm and out 22 month old LOVED it. The animals are pretty close together, which is good for the I little ones. You have to buy tickets in advance online, and anyone over 6 needs to wear a mask the entire time... So it feels very safe with all the COVID craziness... We loved it and will absolutely be back
Love love love! It’s a charming little treasure tucked away between Columbia and Ellicott City, MD. I’ve been taking my daughter here since she was a year old. Price has gone up quite a bit in the last few years, but still reasonable. Staff is ok, not friendly but, not rude either. The meet & greet animals are the best. And love that there’s a hand washing station! It’s such a wonderful experience every time we visit.
Great place for the little ones! The story book artwork is really nice and it makes it very special. The petting farm area is great. My son was so happy to feel and pet the goats. Also, ppl were great at social distancing... so you know the crowd is respectful. Nice experience overall
So this place was ok! I really wished there was more activities to do for the kids. It was more like a large outdoor playground than a farm. We’ve been to quite a few pumpkin patches and farms but this was just alright. It gave a few good picture opts, but otherwise not a lot of activities for the kids compared to others.
Masks and social distancing practiced well. They sell tickets by time slot so there was no over-crowding. The animals were all out and being able to feed the goats was pretty cool. The enchanted fairy tale sculptures were all incredibly interesting. Sunflower field is great for photo opportunities. Highly recommend.
Great place to go with kids. Petting the goats is fun for the kiddos. You will also see pigs, rabbits, an ostrich, a cow and a horse. There is a train which will take you around, the ticket is kind of pricy for the short ride and what you will see. There are two big slides (a rainbow and a windmill) that children enjoy a lot.
Fun farm with lots of little activities for children. Dozen or so different types of animals to see and pet. You can feed the goats with feed that is available for purchase. Parking lot was packed but it didnt feel overcrowded once inside. Highly suggest buying tickets ahead of time as they do sell out.
We have been visiting petting farms like in MD area and find that Clark’s Elioak Farm suits our almost 3 yo best. We went over the weekend and it was not bad at all. There are washing stations and what I like most is that they clean in between train rides. Wearing masks isn’t enforced but recommended. We’re going back again this week!
This would be a lovely experience during ordinary times - but they are doing NOTHING to limit the spread of COVID. The limited tickets seem limited only by the number of cars they can cram into their huge and completely full parking lots. There was no enforcement of social distancing and no wiping down of the many surfaces touched by an army of small children. Their only concession is to require masks of children over 6. Not a good idea during the pandemic.
Great place for an outing with kids. This is especially nice for th 2 to 6 year-old set given the size of slides, fairytale theme, and size of cow train. Still, older kids will also likely enjoy the hay rides, picking out pumpkins, and farm animals. Parents will appreciate the washing station, picnic areas, and small store where snacks can be purchased.Masks required for those six and older and recommended for those two to five.
This is the best place to take young kids! Our 3yr old & 14mo old came three times this season during covid-19 and it was completely safe, sanitary and social distanced. The farm is huge and very spread out! I highly recommend going in the fall for the pumpkin patch, feeding the goats, the little cow train ride and the pony ride!
The farm was a joy. There were so many activities for the kids to enjoy. They do need to get a second express train. Due COVID-19 capacity is limit so having a second train would limit the long line and wait time. Kids were getting antsy after seeing the train pass them 4 times and they couldnt get on it. Luckily they have various activities for the kids to enjoy while waiting to ride the train. The portable bathroom were cleaned after every use. The staff is friendly and kind. My kids and I had a great time. We will be returning.
A pleasant and affordable place to take young children. Our son enjoyed meeting goats for the first time and feeding them, riding a point and the cow train ride, and exploring so many outdoor set pieces. The prices are very reasonable as well. I bought two bottles of water, a bottle of lemonade, and a box of juice from their store for $5 total, where many places would gouge. Definitely going to make this a regular place to visit with my family.
Great prices, decent sized venue with good amount of activities for your family to enjoy. We experienced the pony ride, goat feed, pumpkin patch and enchanted forest. They do have play areas for the little ones. Would recommend for fall festive weekend(or weekday) fun
Massive farm with a lot of stuff for kids to play with and on; however, its a bit run down. A fresh coat of paint on a lot of stuff would really do wonders. With that said my 5 year old had a great time playing with everything
My family and I had a wonderful time touring this farm. The sunflowers were beautiful, and the various Enchanted Forest attractions were very cool to see. There were also lots of animals to see, pet and feed. Would highly recommend to any family looking for something to do for a few hours!
We had a great time here today! It’s very peaceful and it’s reasonably priced. We also stopped at the produce stand and Cece was super helpful and kind!!!We’ll definitely be coming back for more veggies- they are next level!!
First time visiting here but I absolutely loved it and it was worth the drive. My 1 y/o had a blast. Will definitely visit again.
We love it! Its not the original Enchanted Forest, but with all of the things the replicated, it brought back some very fond memories. This is the second time for my oldest boy being here and they added some things since he was little. My two younger ones are enjoying themselves big time! Theres nothing like seeing your kids smiling and laughing to make your day! Well be back for sure. The newest attraction is the Fairy Forest which was pretty cool. My 4 year old found it magical.
Nice place for kids and families, a lot to do like train, pony ride, cow train, feeding goats and seeing animals... The only thing I did not like is the express train line. We had to wait in line for an hour in COViD days. The train could have had higher capacity to help with the line. Staff was nice.
My 2 yr old really enjoyed himself and so did I and the family that joined us. He really loved feeding the goats!! Well go again!
This is a fun way to spend a few hours of helping a little one burn off energy while also getting to learn about/pet animals. A bit expensive for what it is (for 4 of us to enter, ride the train for about 10 minutes, and pick out one small pumpkin each, it was right at $70), but wed return; it seems like a once-a-year type excursion. Im not sure kids over 8,9,10ish age would like it repeatedly - but would have fun the first time.
Its a great little petting zoo with lots of farm animals for the kids to see/touch/ride on. They also have the old stuff from the defunct Enchanted Forest Park in Ellicott City. Its a fun place to take a little kid.
My daughter loves farms and this farm is great, because it incorporates traditional nursery rhyme themed exhibits throughout the entire farm. So while getting to feed and pet the goats, see many other animals too, to riding a pony for children 6 and under, to a hay ride, cow train, and now an additional train ride, there are lots of things for your animal loving child to do, and you as well. Putting on your walking, dont mind getting dirty shoes or boots too.Admission is $7 and each exhibit is $2 each, but the new train is $4.
This place always exceeds expectations. Tons to do, even during covid, and endless amounts of fun for the kids. Our 18 month old loves feeding the animals and going down the slides that are open. The only bad part about this place is how busy it is during October due to the pumpkin patch.
Quaint combination between a petting zoo and fairy tale land. Enjoyed my time immensely, this is definitely a nice way for a family to get out of the house!
It was a great day to go visit! There were a variety of animals to look at and many activties for the children to do but also allowed adults to enjoy!
Great places for kids and parents alike. Lots of fun . It’s inexpensive with a lot to do . Nurse rhymes based attractions. Horse back riding. Petting zoo. Huge grounds, also a enclosure playground with a lot of toys for the little ones.Enchanted forest. Port a potty all around. Everyone is very friendly. Ample parking lot. Make sure to stop at their store on your way out you will find a lot of goodies for the family .
Cute little farm park. Lots of areas to space out and social distance. Reasonably priced if you think about the cost of maintenance and employees. No wait for a pony ride and little wait for the train ride. The kids loved feeding the goats, the maze in the enchanted forest and the stumps in the fairy garden.
Lots of space to run around! Not a ton of people due to having to make reservations in advance. It was a nice trip to take with two 2 year olds
Had fun petting all the animals! I got to pet a cow, pig, donkey, pony, bunnies, emu?, sheep, and lots of goats. There is 25¢ food for the goats. Looks like a great place to host a kids birthday party or educational field trip. Lots of signs explaining the different animals and plants.
Its something to do. More in line for a day out with little ones if you are planning to do a day at the farm. Many of the attractions are little big kid to preschool age appropriate.
This facility went ABOVE and beyond in their COVID precautions. As a CI germaphone I am so thankful to them. We spent FIVE hours there. They also had food there that was made specially for my husbands unique diet. I am so thankful. We will drive the 4 hour round trip again.
Brought my littles, 4 y.o. and 7 months. Well kept, fun, and easy to bring a stroller around and not too far from the restrooms at all times. Will definitely be making this a seasonal tradition!
Great petting zoo with multiple animal attractions. Goats are the highlight- there were many friendly goats that were fun to feed. Great for kids of all ages!
Definitely a fall tradition coming here and going to the pumpkin patch, enchanted forest maze, petting zoo and seeing the various farm animals. There are also hay rides and a train type tractor ride. Other than the rides and animals, there are many fairy tale themed displays that the kids just love.During fall months, this place gets incredibly busy (its Maryland), but not really a surprise.
This is a nice little farm to bring young children to. It has animals for them to feed, pet, or look at. These include goats, ducks, rabbits, chickens, ponies, horses, turkeys, plus, and emues. They have kids activities you pay for including pony rides, a cow train, and a hay ride. During the hay ride they have lots of things for kids to look at. They put faces on trees and kids enjoy trying to find them all. They have several play areas with different fairy tail themed structures etc to go with them. Kids enjoy recognizing the fairy tale items and peeking in the houses. There is even an enchanted forest with a maze where you find lots of fairy tale scenes. They have more stuff going on when school is out than when not. But there are also a lot less people there when school is in session. I think it is best for kindergarten and younger kids.
Pizza was great. Ice cream was yummy. Feeding goats made us laugh. Prices were fair. Everyone wore masks, sanitizer was provided.
Absolutely loved it! We had so much fun and there was so much to do we didnt even get to all of it!
Fun day at the Farm with family. Lots to do. Plan to spend couple hours on the Farm. Your children will enjoy it.
Pricey!!! $8.00 per person admissions. Kids 1 or more are are charged as adults.5 per person for a little tractor ride. Basically $40 -50 for a family of three. Definitely no pumping patch that Im used too. This is just money making machine!
I visited this farm with my family on Easter weekend. It was busy day there were lots of visitor on that day. They have different activities for kids like Hay ride, Horse ride, cow train, Enchanted Train ride and also different animals like sheep, goat, bunny, cow and etc. Its really fun for kids but they did have good management for restroom and nursing room or water to drink. I visited there food area they had only live pizza, and hot dog, chips and drink. They did not have other option for food.
Really great place to take kids on an afternoon. Lots of animals to feed, an enchanted forest to walk through, and some rides for the kids (ponies, train, etc). I took off one star because the train ride was a little pricey for what it was, but otherwise this is a great spot.
We had a lovely day seeing the Enchanted Forrest exibits and the friendly farm animals. We purchased blackberry preserves and apple butter from their little store and both were delicious. We loved feeding the goats and they seemed well taken care of. We wish their bunnies had more room to run and jump. Perhaps they give them a bigger space after closing? they are very well fed and look healthy. The pumpkins were all nice for the picking with the option to purchase larger ones at the store. The staff was very friendly. We will definately be back. It was a great day despite the drizzle. There were plently of places to sit and have a picnic lunch if you want to. Enjoy.
It was perfect for the 4yr old and the 1yr old. So much fun. I recommend the train ride! It was a hit.
I was very disappointed in this pumpkin patch. It needs some paint and TLC. The animals were great but there were not enough staff to help with the bunnies so all the children could pet them. There were more very many interactive experiences compared to other pumpkin patches I have been to.
What a surprise of kids stories made into life sized art out in nature: the little old ladies shoe, the enchanted forest filled with Mother Goose stories, the dish running away with the spoon and others from your childhood stories. Originally built in 1927, before little ones had electronics, a lot of these fiberglass attractions were created. A few things need updated to be less scary and climbing friendly on but it doesnt detract from the whimsy. There are climb on things like the pirate ship and an area of outdoor play area of ride on toys for preschoolers. There is walk in pens in the petting area too with goats, rabbits & chickens, if you like hands on. The low price gets you in but additional cost to get tickets are needed to do any of the moving activities: the horse, the hayride, the train, and the barrel cow train. I can understand charging a little bit more for the horse but and all inclusive price would be attractive. This place is easily worth $10 a person versus the low $6 weekday general admission price. Definitely a great place for younger kids, I would recommend at least once, its worth the entertainment for a few hours. They also host school field trip visits with a picnic area and dedicated playground.
My son loves going here to pick his pumpkin and see the animals. Plus they have a pony ride for the kids
Was a great family experience. I will definitely go back..
Those bread and butter pickles must be their bread and butter. Cause theyre good
Fantastically quirky with major creepy retro vibes. The kids will love it though, and relatively COVID proof since all the attractions are outside and appropriately spaced out. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a good time.
They have the old Enchanted Forest stuff from Ellicott Cities old amusement park. Minus 1 star for a hard fall off the end of a high slide for my 2 year old. Nostalgic if you remember the Enchanted Forest. Probably not going to go more than a couple times.
Clarks Elioak farm was fun. The animals were nice and seemed pretty well taken-care-of. Its worth a visit if you have small kids or if someone really loves seeing farm animals. The bunnies were nice, as were the goats. I dunno, bottom line for me is I could probably take it or leave it. Seeing the old Enchanted Forest stuff was kinda neat, I guess. Not too many places like this, thats for sure. Maybe a bit pricey if this isnt your thing. And Id never want to go on a weekend: always looks crowded.
The sunflower field is beautiful, but accounts for maybe 5% of the farm. 15% is animals, and the remainder is decently kept, but dated fairy tale sculptures.
We love this place. We go with our kids and grandchildren whenever we can. They have some nostalgic things and a small but well kept petting farm. Free and plentiful parking.
Fun Fun Fun!! Great idea for social distancing!!
Awesome play area. The nostalgic enchanted forest pieces are heart warming and well maintained. So happy that the owners saved these for another generation.
It was fun, but I wished they had more farm animals. All are goats, 2 horses and an ostrich.
Stopped by while looking for something to do while in town for a wedding. Pleasantly surprised by the range of things to do here. We walked all over the grounds looking at the old (and sometimes creepy) attractions, stopped by the petting zoo area and bought a few tasty things from the store there. Great way to kill a few hours!
I love this farm stand its so close to me and everything seems to be vine ripened. You wont get this quality in the grocery store. Sadly its only open until Labor Day.
This place was a lot of fun for our 2 and 4 year old. There were lots of things to explore and you get up close and personal with the farm animals .. Plus the staff were really nice and friendly and the train and Hay rides were super funLots of shaded areas
The animals were fun to pet and see, and we got to feed the goats, too! The fairytale part is good for kids. This place even offers a hayride behind a tractor.
Take the kiddos here yearly! Great place, we have fun here everytime we go!
This was a nice farm. We went for a Easter event. The different stops and stations to see are very nice and educating for children. They had a petting farm, with plentiful animals, horse riding, an Easter egg hunt, a nice gift store and play area the kids enjoyed. I believe they have a pumpkin patch later in the Halloween season as well. Check them out.
This place is incredible. Our kids loved it and it wasnt overly crowded. Very peaceful day with lots of family fun. We purchased tickets and ended up not using them all, they actually refund you for what you dont use!! This was great. They have a tractor ride, fairytale land, slides, games, petting zoo. Its so much fun.
Lots of fun for kids. Nostalgia for anyone who used to go to the Enchanted Forrest. Goats and other animals to pet, hay ride, pony rides.
Great place for kids. Petting the animals was fun, and the train ride too.
Great place to bring children under 10. The staff is very nice and helpful.
It a good place for young children not teens though there isnt many animals as I expected
We are always happy to come here... they do a good job with the animals and its so nostalgic for me because i remember going to the real enchanted forest as a child.
Small buildings shaped like nursery rhyme stories, a pumpkin patch w small pumpkins, gift shop w larger pumpkins, petting zoo, tractor pulled covered wagon rides, horse rides, a small train ride, small concessions for sale & an ice cream truck parked on the lot. Its awesome, great for little kids
My granddaughter loves animals and we went to take her! We really enjoyed it and loved the train ride!
This was my first time to Clarks Ellioak Farm. My son is 14 months and is obsessed with animals. He absolutely loved visiting the farm. He rode the pony and the cow train! We got to hold 5 day old goats and see so many different animals. Great experience!!! Would recommend it to anyone with little ones!
Kids were thrilled with the train ride and the animals. Very friendly place.
Very nice place to walk around and for the kids they have lots of fun
Its always fun for me and my son! Feeding goats! Seeing animals. Holding bunnies or enjoying rides. Pay for rides at entrance and enjoy! Small enclosed play area for toddlers. Enjoy the hay ride and train ride. Visit enchanted forest. Wear good shoes and sunglasses, be prepared to walk lots!
There is definitely a lot for kids to do and have fun.
Its a great way to spend the day with the family. There is plenty to to here and see.! Lots of animals and we love the enchanted forest themed play areas. Theres a huge picnic area as well.
Kids,I had a Great time,The people were very helpful.
It was at the farm we had a great time.
Went to a birthday party. Not sure of how much it cost or anything. But it is great for kids. Get to see animals and plenty of things to play in / on.
Been twice and it was very fun! They have a nice variety of animals, a hayride and a pumpkin patch! Plus, they have most of the props and attractions from The Enchanted Forest, which brings back so many memories from my childhood :)
Nice for children under 10 lots of little things for them to do. Staff very friendly and keeping safety as #1 priority
Had wonderful time today!
Very nice farm kids had a ball along with the adults.
This is a fun little Happy place. Great place to grab a Pumpkin and Carnival fun type snacks. We loved the nostalgia of the remnants of the Enchanted Forest. This place really brings back great childhood memories. Everything I remembered as a child all wrapped up in one. The smalls in the air the wagon ride through the farm, petting zoo. Running through the pumpkin patch to find just the right pumpkin. There was even an evergreen Forest maze. Loved this place.
My wife and I had a good time remembering the old days. Very friendly staff and clean.
Great place for the kids to enjoy some outdoors. Masks and social distance always respected.
I grew up going to Enchanted Forest so this farm always brings back memories. It is fantastic to see the old pieces restored. I gave the farm 3 stars because the staff was not very friendly and all the Enchanted Forest houses are locked and the kids cant play with them, only look. There are pieces they can play on too though (my daughter likes to pretend so the houses were a tease). Children can ride horses but they only get to go around the short track once. There is a cute train that you can ride also. The two above activities are $2 per person. The entrance fee to the farm is $6 per person. There are goats, horses, chickens, and rabits to see and even pet which is cool. It is a fun place, but can be a bit of a tease with so many things to look at but you cant play with.
Not good for children over 7, sparse amenities
My second time here, and I will be back!
Really miss bringing my children here.the smiles and happiness they get is a beautiful thing. Hopefully soon well get back to normal and they can come have fun
My grandbabys loved it...poney ride and feeding the goats.
I love that it bring the enchanted Forest back to life and shares parts old and new for all the new generations and generations to come. I would definitely recommend anyone to bring their families . Also you can have birthday parties for your kids here and more. We took our niece and we even enjoyed it ourselves and will definitely be bringing her back next year! I forgot to take her back to Crystal mining like I said I would so thats another thing we definitely will have to make sure we do first when we come back next year. Thank you for keeping some of my childhood alive for more children to enjoy too.
Such a big place and love the story characters built in. Easter was fun!
