Mass is usually lovely with pertinent homilies. Gift shop has a wide variety of items for all ages and stages of faith. Walking trails are clear and mostly flat and safe enough for people with difficulty walking - like babies or elderly. Great for dog walking. Chickens in the garden area are fun for kids to look at. Retreat spaces are well equipped and roomy. We love it!

Hey Catholics,Have you been to this sacred place of Christ clearly visible? Where? Well, in the Sacraments of Confession between 11 and noon, followed by Mass every day at noon. Priests and monks welcome you as a child of Christ.

This Shrine will make you feel like if you are in Assisi!The Shrine has beautiful grounds, even the drive is beautiful, driving through farmlands and rolling hills. Once you hit the driveway, its a long drive to the main Shrine over beautifully landscaped lawn surrounded by trees with a statue of a dining kneeling to St. Anthony holding Jesus in the Eucharist in the center and a small St. Therese statue in a small garden.You then reach the Shrine. Which has a Mercy door for the Year of Mercy. It has a covered archway surrounding the courtyard. The courtyard has a fountain in the center and status of St. Francis and St. Anthony.Once inside there is a beautiful Church with two rows down the sides that face each other for liturgy of the hours and in the back they have a relic of St. Anthony!They also have a library, a dining room, a beautiful glass room that overlooks the farmland on one side and the courtyard on the other.They have daily noon Mass, lots of confession times and many special events. They have many retreats throughout the year and events for children (like Easter egg hunt, crafts, etc). They also hold retreats for local churches and schools.Its a great place to go to pray, whether in the church or in the grounds at the outdoor grotto or stations of the Cross. And its only half an hour from DC or Baltimore!

Beautiful location with many different spots to stop and reflect. Has a few walking trails and a 9/11 memorial on these trails.

The Shrine and the area is a delightful and serene experience, theres a walkway along the way of the cross, the iconic statue of St Antony and the heretic along the drive way,a trail which leads to a 9/11 memorial, a small water fountain pond that overlooks the adjoining farm and you can see several cows grazing, its an absolute nature retreat out here, and dont forget to check the gift shop too

Great place to bring the whole family. Wonderful outdoor stations of the cross path. Enjoy a quiet moment with the Lord. :)

I went to a healing mass here while battling cancer. Thankfully my cancer is gone! This place is quiet and peaceful everyone is kind and helpful. This place will strengthen your soul. You will always be thankful if you have an opportunity to visit this shrine. Thank you st. Anthony and Thank You st. Joseph of Cupertino.
