My partner and I just bought Elictric assist bikes, and this was a great place to try them out. The trail goes 3 miles to a highway, cross it and another 9 miles is easily accessible. One could bike adnausiam. Most is unpaved but rideable, very pleasant on an autumn ride.
Very good trail along the landscape of the farmlands, some segments need improvement, specifically the one that cross the route 743, where the cars go a high speed, there should be a traffic light, in order to go through more safe.
Its a 5 mile long trail that takes you through the woods and near some farms. It connects with the Lebanon Valley rail. The tree shade felt good while biking on a hot day. My one complaint is that the stone dust on the trail got my bike pretty dirty compared to other local trails.
I like this trail! Great surface for running, walking, or biking. A lot of the trail is shaded, which is a plus in the warmer summer months.
Not crowded and very quiet. Overall a great ride.
Great trail for walking, running, and biking for beginners as well as intermediate. Child, dog and horse friendly terrain. We even see deer at a distance.
Love walking this trail. See deer right of the trail most evenings
Lovely shaded and flat path. Prob better than 65% shade which when its 95 out is pretty important
Great trail for a walk, run or bike. Mt Gretna seams to be the high point on the trail elevation wise. There is a twin kiss right off the trail too.
Not my favorite of the various biking/walking trails in the area, as this trail basically only goes through boring farmland. But it is still scenic in its own way. And I have often spotted herds of deer off in the fields while on this trail. A solid trail that extends even farther out towards Lebanon
Refreshing! Lots of trees... Ice cream at Gretnas Jigger Shop!
Mostly flat and very dull compared to other options in the area. Should be great for bikes though.
This place was nice and I recommend this trail. It was very nice but is infested with spotted lantern flies.
Lovely place. Not too difficult a ride. Nice runners and bikers from the local community. More parking please!
Great gravel trail for walking, running or biking. Relatively flat and easy for people of all ages and even the tiniest little doggo
A calm and good place to walk
Its an amazing adventurous trail for 2wheelin among other activities!!! Walking, jogging, running, meeting new people. Sights n sounds of the outdoors. Done the length of the trail with a great friend last Saturday 6-22-19!!! Started in Lebanon rode to the end n back. Came in just under 40miles round trip!!
Nice, peaceful and shaded walk.
Great for bikers, walkers, and people with fur babies! Just remember to clean up after them!
Great for walking and bike
Excellent for trail walking, running and cycling. Open space with beautiful, scenic areas. Great place to exercise and enjoy nature.
A couple of rough spots but overall a very scenic trail, could use some more restrooms
Beautiful, but benches would be nice lol
A terrific bike ride from Middletown to Mt Gretna. The stop for ice cream at the Jigger Shop in My. Gretna made the return ride even better. Well that, and the fact that the return ride is predominantly downhill
Great trail for long distance running, or for anyone looking to bike or hike
Great trail. Well maintained not to many people. Great for all kinds of distances.
Great for biking and hiking. Only 5 miles long, but connects to the Lebanon Rail Trail for an additional 10+ miles
Nice place to run. Nice scenery. Narrow, hard packed gravel path. I ran 10 miles out and back (from start of trail at rt 230 to the Lebanon county line) You do have to cross some rds but traffic is not bad, worst was crossing 743. Also limited parking at trail head. It can get crowded on weekends.
I really enjoy this trail, it is local to me, nothing spectacular, its a paved path, you can ride horses or bike on it as well. It runs a good distance. And is good for like handicapped or older people that may need a smoother surface to be on.
Love to do yoga by the stream. Very nice scenic walk (Or run. Or bike ride)
Very nice, but its hard to walk because there are so many bikers.
Nice trail with beautiful views that lead you to the waterfront close to the city centre
Good trail. Nice and flat. You do go over a couple roads so be aware of your surroundings. The trail is over 4.5 miles.
Nice trail for bike or walking.
Nice flat trail easy biking only difficult crossing at Mill road and rt 743
Feeling overweight feeling unconfident feeling you need exercise go down to the trail get yourself together its a very good place to go get some exercise and lose weight thats what I do
Its better when you dont end up with a tick
A nice walking, biking trail
Really like this trail. Road crossing at pa 743 can be dangerous. It would be nicer if there were occasional benches to rest and reflect. It would also be nicer if there were porta potties at a couple parking areas.
Great scenery quiet just a great place to
Its amazing trail to walk and see nature. I enjoyed walking with my buddies and was so happy to see view along the trail. Had great time but yes there is no porta potty there should be one atleast and some benches.
Its a beautiful trail. Only thing missing is a porta potty at the trail head.
A nice trail. You do cross over some country roads and visibility at some intersections is limited. I would recommend turning off the music and removing the headphones while out on the trail. The biggest drawback is no bathroom anywhere along the trail.
Great place for a little exercise and a taste of spring.
Great place to cycle! Very well maintained and has a good bit of shade
Good place to walk and bike.
Enjoyable trail for walking
A beautiful walk!
Great Rail Trail in PA. Connect it with the Lebanon Trail for a very nice bike ride. Then be sure to stop in at Snitz Creek Brewery to have a few fantastic beers. And make sure to hit the Mt. Gretna side trail and see what is happening in that neat little retreat community.
The Conewago Recreation Trail is a little more rustic than the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, with a very slight grade; but it is well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. A beautiful spot for a walk or bike ride.
What a neat little rail trail. Perfect for waking/running and biking
I absolutely love this trail!!!
Nice rail trail.
Great place to run or just go for a walk.
Mostly flat rail trail, with road crossings roughly every half mile or so.
Great place for a 5 mile walk. Not much shade when no folliage is on trails.
It is very relaxing and therapeutic
Nice easy trail, flat with lots of shade, not very busy
Great place for a bike ride or a walk.
Beautiful place to bicycle in the country with lots of shade.
Great ride
Nice trail
A really nice place for a bike ride or a walk or a jog but please dont go alone
Nice flat crushed gravel trail against Conewago Creek...scenic farm vistas and pretty creek views, heavily shaded in parts and wide open farm fields in others. Flat and straight though, so easy and unchallenging running/biking.
People are friendly. Lots of chipmunks. Good walking surface
Love this flat, well maintained trail!
Trailhead starts on outskirts of Elizabethtown across from Crowes Trucking. The parking area is nice. It starts out paralleling ETown road and from a field into eventually forest. Thus segment runs for 5 miles and transitions right into the Lebanon Valley rail trail. Thus section is very well maintained.
Nice easy trail for hiking or biking.
2 mile bike ride and a 1 mile walk.
Great starting point for a bike ride.
Great trail for you and your dog.
Great, though the Lebanon section is better maintained.
I mean, its a trail. does the job.
A great trail to bike or walk.
Beautiful
Gorgeous trail, perfect for running and biking.
5 mile Fridays, 0800, who wants it?
Great rail trail for the family
Great trail

It does not have a port a pot on the premises.
Nice trail
Beautiful clean trail.
Nice quiet trail
