What an absolute delight! A new lighthouse constructed in 2004 & built to resemble Michigans lovely Tawas Point Light! I came up from Ohio to visit the park on a Tuesday afternoon, & was not disappointed in the slightest! Such a beautiful spot on the river!

Nice place in the city to relax and hang out. Walking along the river front is awesome. Lots of people and activities. Great for families. Looks like a perfect location for fishing also. Lots of people fishing and I was told they catch crabs and crawfish as well.

Nice park with a small marina within walking distance of downtown Detroit.

Great river walk, there are lots of benches, bycicle rentals, people walking dogs, electric scooters. Its a nice place to go and have a view of the Canadian buildings also

We have stayed here several times. A quiet, gated marina with immediate access to the Detroit riverwalk. We felt very safe staying here. Bathrooms are clean and have showers but very rustic, just poured cement.

Very fun place to walk and enjoy the views with family, during summer it’s a little crowded but still fun. It’s also a great place to take pictures and relax.

This is one of my favorite places in detroit. it’s so refreshing being there, even in the cold.

Beautiful historical lighthouse and landmark. Amazing place to be in peace, alone, with friends or family and interact with birds, and nature.

Great view of Windsor and the water. Paved and well lit with benches, trash cans, and emergency phone. Nice for walking/biking/jogging. Park closes at 10p and is strictly enforced. Could use some porta potties near.

Beautiful little lighthouse along the Detroit Riverwalk. Saw people fishing along the edge of the platform. Nearby marina is very pretty as well with lots of little colorful boats. Very easy to access by walking/biking along the paved river path.

Beautiful view of Detroit river with a gentle breeze caressing you...what more to say! The bonus, feel closer to Canada

Great out door spot

This is a great spot to catch views of Downtown Detroit and Canada across the water. Great place to run, bike, or fish.

REALLY NICE ENVIRONMENT

Amazingly beautiful! Went after dinner time on a weeknight while visiting Detroit, peaceful and people I met very friendly.

No restrooms, The Light House was not open. I was really disappointed I was looking forward to the experience.

Very peaceful, and right on the Detroit river. I highly recommend you visit sometime. Especially in the summer.

Very clean and relaxing. Families both black and white were on outings. Good police presence. Drama free!!!

Love the area. Great place to exercise. The view from the Lighthouse is tremendous. On a sunny day, great place for photos. Any day it is great for a walk.

Awesome Light house and city views

Good

First time at Milliken Marina in June 2017. Overall great location with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Was sorry to hear no ice was available at the marina because the supplier opted to not renew the contract, had to walk 2 miles for ice. Will go back to Milliken, its great to be at the boat with downtown Detroit and the Ren Cen within eye sight.
