Original light house was built in 1847 on 4 acres and a u.s. marine hospital was constructed.

Nice park but I didnt get to enjoy it. Several events were going on, no place to park. Maybe another day

Park has potential but greatly needs some cleaning up. If you can get past the amount of trash...this park is definitely a hidden gem

This is my quiet space.. Just something about that light house that makes me feel easePerfect alone or together spot.

I love the view of the Detroit River from here. You get to see all the Tankers and Freighters going by.

Was at this spot to fish. Not sure why it is called the Windmill Point Lighthouse. It was a little scary in that corner. Was hoping nothing ran out of it while I was casting my rod!

Windmill Point Lighthouse is very small but it sits next to a nice river view and walkway along a seawall. It sits on a spot that the Bob-Lo boats used for docking years ago.

I love to go fishing there on the bank you can set your rodes up there and enjoy the view aint nothing like it!
