I saw Chaka Khan. She didnt like the lighting guy and she fussed at him. I thought that was hilarious!!!! The sound board is a great place. I had seats under the mezzanine. There was a monitor very close thats what I used to see her moves. Although the sound was great the visual not so much. Ive always had seats upstairs in the mezzanine looking down on the stage nothing to obstruct your view. My next seats will be in the mezzanine!!

Great place for a party or conference with strolling dinner. Food was great...lots to choose from. Serving staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Has two bars on either side of the club with good drink selection. Has a preformance stage, and multi-level floor. Sound is well controlled for noisy and quiet areas. Well done!

Great views from every seat! Excellent video and sound systems. I sat near the back, but felt as if I was near the stage. Timely and efficient valet parking. Easy on and off the Lodge Freeway (M-10). A wonderful evening in a beautiful venue.

A very cozy concert auditorium. It is a lot more of an intimate atmosphere! A variety of drinks and snack foods. I even saw someone with pizza. The acoustics (sound system) is a lot better than a lot of places. All seats are great. They have two side sections thats a bit awkward if you care to sit there. But can well be voted an excellent concert hall. The steps are safe, just be careful going to your seat in between people!

Went to see K. Michelle. I love the venue space, very intimate. I was 4th row, center seat and saw everything. Check in was very fast, and so was the bar service. K. gave a great show and even walked in the crowd. I would definitely attend another concert here.

Hosted a company outing. We did a VIP experience with Tamar Braxton. WeEnjoyed everything. The food and drinks were outstanding. The service was wonderful. The private lounge was so comfortable we did not want to leave. Thank you Motor City Casino for a great night

For a concert any seat is a good seat.. I been a few times... Never disappointed

My sister and I enjoyed seeing Patti LaBelle at the Sound Board. Ticket prices were a bit high but it was a great show and to top it off it was on my birthday. The sound was good but the view of the stage wasnt very good for parts of the show from where we sat. Make sure that you know where youll be sitting and purchase well in advance of a very popular or poatentially sold out show.

I was there for a banquet. Oh my gosh it was a WOW. I have to say it was the best banquet dinner I have ever had. The staff was fantastic. Paying attention to the little details, like ladies first and covered dishes until delivery, including the deserts - which were fabulous.Id have a banquet there in a heartbeat and look forward to going again.Was simply Awesome.

Wonderful venue. Good sound system and acoustics. Seating in the upper level gives you plenty of room. Seating on main floor is entirely to cramped. They individually standing chairs are placed as close as you can ram them together. You will be literally sitting on top of the person next to you, which makes the experience not so pleasant. Additional, these are the premium seats yet they provide you about 30% less space. Also during the performance the bar area was louder than the guest on stage with glasses, ice and sounds of a kitchen being cleaned. Good venue, small details need to be tweeked for a better experience.

This place is AMAZING! My first time ever being here and saw Ashanti. Its really intimate and you can get out of your seat and get as close to the stage as you like! Never known a venue that gives you that much freedom!

Didnt tralize section 130 was on flat floor. Folding chairs locked together. I eould have been happier in diffetent section. Soon as people stand up, you only have a small monitor to see stage. Psy good money to watch tv.

SOUNDBOARD has some of the best and in Entertainment at the BEST price. Your seats are up close and personal. Easy access to seats and bar area. Some Artists stay and do photos and signings after concert. Most Concerts on Thursday 8pm or Sunday 7:30pm. Use your Club Metro card and get 10% off tickets at box office

Great concert! The sound board is cozy and nicely set up. Drink prices are a little high and I wish they had a better selection of food and snacks. The staff was polite.

Awesome show!I would love to give a five star but holy smokes... its attached to casino and TONS of smokers run wild throughout the entire place and THEY ALLOW SMOKING everywhere! WTF...Hardly being able to breath and waking up with smokers voice and nasty throat sucked... its 2019 and I thought we were progressing to make smokers go outside or to a reserved smokers area?

The performance we went and saw was great and so was the sound but when we got our seat upper area we had no idea there would be this railing completely blocking our view. I really wish we could have got our money back seems how that ruined the show for us.

This venue was primo.the drinks were good the chairs were comfortable and every one had a great time. I didnt like getting kicked out after the concert but hey you cannot have it all.

Last minute blessing with tickets to see Kenny Latimore w/ Vivian Green...its a very intimate setting and he shared alot of himself with us...Simply amazing...

This is a great place to see all types of shows. There are concerts, comedy shows, and I believe i even heard there was a boxing event. Motor city casino offers a lot to its customers besides gambling and this is just one of those things. Would highly recommended visiting

It was one of the best nights of my life! But they could use some more comfortable seats (we were just not in them that much)

The parking was easy and close. Many seats (like the one I had) were not good. Some seats are stadium seats and other are on a flat section of floor which makes viewing the stage difficult if you are behind someone. The show for the main headliner was only one hour. Most concerts I go to are at least one and a half hours. Drinks and snacks are easy to access with convenient concessions.

I enjoy myself there to see my favorite group however the chairs was to close and the drinks were to high and way to small.

One of my favorite concert spots. I enjoy going here. Ive been to the Sound Board several times and l always have a great time. Its an intimate setting so any where you sit is a good seat. The ushers are very helpful. The audio is great. Its looks nice with musicians and artists photos on the wall. It has a nice bar. Its connected to Motor City Casino so you can eat or get your gamble on before or after your event

Sound Board theater was amazing! We had seats in Row K which is the farthest and highest right from the stage and we could see all of the stage with the exception of the left corner of the stage. Notably, these seats are quite a climb to the top...but worth it if you are able to climb stairs. The acoustics were amazing! But of course with a singer like Jeffrey Osborne its hard to hear anything bad. Also, the security and usher staff were very helpful in getting you into the theater quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this venue!

Awesome venue for boxing. Multiple bars inside the theater and the food court is right outside if youre hungry. Great experience.

1st time visiting ! Very intimate setting for a concert hall. Staff very friendly only concern the pop machine was not clean and the Serra mist had an OLD MUSTY TASTE!, should have stayed with water.

Great venue. Floor seats jammed too close for DL show though, and 4 bartenders for that size crowd was poor operations planning...I would have done 3.5 stars if I could because of those two issues. All else was very good. Staff, security, cleanliness, etc.

The venue has good seating options with most having an unobstructed view of the stage. They also have a good lineup of talented artists and comedians that are scheduled to perform there.

My experience was great, excellent show. But the Sound Board needs to be rearranged. The visibility of the stage to all seats is extremely poor. U have to watch the monitor to see the show. Defeats going to a live performance.

Beautiful venue... Not a bad seat in the house.. Drinks were expensive. I was here for the Brian McKnight concert and he was amazing. Hes one of those timeless artists that just keep getting better like fine wine. Would come back to this venue again.. Pleasant experience overall.

Nice black box type theatre in Motor City Casino. Can see the stage from every seat.

Very nice theater. The whole bottom floor is chairs so you can adjust them a bit if you need room. The acoustics are on point and you can more or less see from just about anywhere in the theater. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I sat in section 140 right by the bar. The people over there were very loud and the bartender was washing dishes and the running water was totally interrupting the concert. That is not a good set up. The bar should be in the hallway or enclosed to prevent noise. Otherwise everything else was great. You can probably see better sitting in the balcony though, just not in the obstructed view section. Only cause everyone is level on the floor.

Always a great time here, wonderful for concerts and you can gamble right after the show.

Jeffrey Osborne is 71 years old. He gave an amazing concert. His voice was phenomenal! The venue was very nice and intimate.

Great place for a concert. Small, but great sound. Bar in the theatre makes it convenient to get a drink and not miss the show. However, having seats near bar is distracting as lots of people like to stand there and talk....loudly. Staff is great though.

Dru Hill gave an amazing show! Color Me Badd should never be booked again.

Was here last Thursday to see Dru Hill, had the best seats for a excellent price. Everyone was friendly, and place was so elegant and clean.

Attended a conference at the hotel. The theater was used for the main presentations. Great acoustics and good seating for the conference sessions.

Sound Board is THE venue for concerts. Intimate setting. All the staff are marvelous. The acoustics and lighting are perfect. The only thing I dont like are the chairs. Still a 5 star experience.

Overall I enjoy the sound board. Small venue which is good, but the theater seating is squared making for some odd viewing. Otherwise all is good.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and set up of the place. Got the opportunity to perform there as well and the back stage area and dressing rooms were great too! Had a blast.

I love the intimacy of this venue. It seems that every seat is a good seat but when you purchase tickets online some of the seats will say obstructed view and Ive never sat in those seats before. The staff is very friendly and treats you well. This is one of my favorite places to go to concerts

Went there to see R E O Speed Wagon be and it was pretty good, one thing nice it dont get to crowded.
