Gothic style. It is a beautiful place for meditation and worship. It is currently open for Mass only. It has a capacity of 800, but attendance is limited to 50. One must register online where you can see what slots are available. The most crowded time was up to 49. The others had plenty of seating. Seats are well spaced and maked as are the flows to enter and exit.

Theres no better way to start the day than by attending the 7:00 am morning mass and witnessing the sunrise light up the beautiful stained glass! That, along with the sacred mass is amazing.

The most stunning cathedral in the middle of downtown Denver. We had a chance to watch mass here and it was great! Highly recommend visiting this beautiful church.

This church is beautiful. The music is very good also. The stained glass windows are very detailed and the choir loft looks spectacular with the organ pipes as the background. The homily given by the priest was very well thought out, articulate and relative to the parishioners regarding the Readings and current times. If you plan on going to Mass there you have to make a reservation but, it did not look like it was to max capcity but I reccomend making a reservation just in case. Wheelchair Accessible.

Beautiful cathedral and music. The priests homily was very well thought out and rich with wisdom. They spoke of the churchs needs and what they support. I dont think Ive been to a church that was so active in the community. They contribute so much! Like feeding 200 to 300 people a day thru 3 to 4 meals a day. They were also very organized in staying covid recommendation compliant...Well thought out.... What a shame though, that the someone had vandalized it. It looked like it was fixed when we were there. However, like the gospel reading that day, the wheat must grow among the weeds and when its time for harvest the fruits one bears will be made known.

I love this church. My life has been truly saved by being a part of something so beautiful. Thank you Father for love and support.

Fantastic structure for a vibrant faith-communuty, including large organ and angelic choir.The interior is designed similar to the classic cathedrals found in old Europe, with paintings, statues, pillars and wooden pews.The music is particularly inspiring and really adds to the quality of the Mass experience.Definitely worth a visit!

The architecture on this place is unbelievable and it feels like a castle! Im not sure about parking as we are walking this day but I look forward to coming back to visit sometime in the future. This is the Mother Church for the Archdiocese of Denver under our Blessed Mother’s Title of The Immaculate Conception. Every visit there from my native Northeastern Colorado is a true blessing! I was there most recently on a snowy late October evening! Both the interior and exterior are a sight to behold and make sure to light a candle and say a prayer that the Our Lady of Czestochowa icon that was gifted to Cardinal Stafford, then Archbishop of Denver, by Pope John Paul II who is now a saint back in 1992 ahead of the now so warmly memorable World Youth Day 1993.

Attending the Mass at the Basilica of the Imaculate Conception in Denver for the Holy Family with my Family was PERFECT! Truly gorgeous Church and seeing it decorated for the Christmas Season was special.Sidenote: make sure to go during daylight hours so you can amire the stain glass windows. We attended the 4:30 pm service and it was too dark at the end of Mass to see the windows.

This Cathedral was gorgeous. I didnt actually go inside but I sat outside it for about an hour in awe of the excellent architecture. What a lovely view. Im writing this review based solely on the external aesthetics, which were absolutely lovely. I recommend for this alone. But upon now seeing the internal pics now, I see this place is just a wonder all around.

I didn’t attend mass here but the outside of the church is so beautiful and an just seeing it was an experience in and of itself.

The traditional Latin Mass today for All Souls Day was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to see all the young people there. Wow! Father Hearty gave a wonderful sermon on Purgatory, solidly Catholic. I hope the Basilica will offer more of these masses.

Mass here is always beautiful. The music at 6:30p service is uplifting. They used a different incense yesterday. The smell lingers on what I wear and brings the peacefulness back.

It was Christmas eve midnight mass. My first time in Catholic church in more than four years and my first time in the Cathedral. If you have never been its stunning. The music was incredible and the Archbishops word was exactly what I needed to hear.

Beautiful cathedral! Ive been a parishioner here for a while and had both my wedding and my child baptized here. The parish staff is very welcoming and kind.

Came here for a wedding and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything was! Sure, the location in Denver is a bit odd, but regardless the building itself is breathtaking! The stained glass is intricately detailed and the music was divine. Everything seemed to come together quite nicely!

The renovations are obnoxious, but the architecture is beautiful and worth restoring. The choir is pleasant but the sound suffers a bit from the echo chamber that is the majestic ceiling. Holiday masses are packed, and like everywhere downtown, parking is terrible then. Highly recommend going at least once a year, but maybe stay away on Christmas... Unless you really want a 4 hour experience.

I love this Church. They have tons of services that assist the marginalized community. The choir is as beautiful os the marble walls. When the sunlight hits the stained glass windows, you get a sense that Creation is starting. The flowers are so fragrant and beautiful. Best of all, the priests Fathers Ron, Basso and Hearty are kind, loving, and generous. Their reverence brings tears of joy to my eyes. No one, and I really mean NO ONE, is turned away from warm church. What an absolutely beautiful Church through and through.

This is a working Church with services. I went to mass and was completely impressed by not only the building, the stained glass and the atmosphere but also by the sermon. Theres a gift shop at the back so I assume visit it to just take in its beauty. They have a point. Worth a visit.

We were staying in Denver for a few days and looked this up to attend mass. We werent disappointed. The mass was great, great homily and the cathedral was breathtaking. Hope to make it back there one day.

I will always love the childhood memories this church possess of attending church weekly with my grandparents and my uncle and the serene feeling I have now when I go up to the area in the church where you light candles and pray by the time I leave the church all of my worries have disappeared and I leave out with my faith fully restored no matter what situation I pray about. I must say the rectory staff has become very unprofessional and the church morals no longer exist it is very disappointing.

Excellent place, the meals and cocktails were magnificent, the facilities: spacious and very nice.

I walked in because my friend was nearby. I examined the goods hoping yet knowing that nothing of value would come out of this experience. Steal from the church! As there is nobody there except one worthless policeman. I looked behind the rosaries and art for sale, amazing spirits and extremely intricate styles. If you know you can get away with it, or you dont know, do it.

Pretentious and rude staff. Made me and my boyfriend feel completely unwelcome with their comments as we quietly and respectfully attempted to absorb the architecture. I think they would be better advised to reflect on the appropriateness of their extremely overpriced gift shop at the front entrance, rather than commenting on visitors’ hats. There just may have been a story in the new testament about merchanting in places of worship.

I sang for Masses many times here. The Basilica is stunningly beautiful with amazing acoustics. Father Hearty is one of the excellent pastors at this church.

An Italian priest said mass for us on Sunday at the first mass. He was very reverent and also full of joy. The music was well done by a young man suited up in front of an ambo on the altar, perhaps a bit out of place but still he sung and led us well. The organ playing was magnificent, from the back loft behind and above our heads. The people who attended mass with us were not all wearing a similar code of dress, however.The beauty in this downtown Cathedral comes not only from the architecture and interior splendor of stained glass windows and statues, but also from the ordained ministers and the music. Above all this Church should be praised for how it treats reverently the holy sacrifice of the Eucharist. No patens however. But certainly well dressed EMHCs.

The Cathedral is gorgeous, the chorus sings amazing and the mass and sermons are beautiful thanks to the combination of everything. They also have confession available before mass which allows you to receive the gift of reconciliation so you can attend mass fully and in a state of grace.

First time being inside such a grandeur monumental historical piece of Colfax Ave/US 40 Denver County City of Denver. You can feel the presence of something greater than ourselves
