Its a nice park, but Ive seen lots of trash, beer bottles, clothing items laying around. I only go there as a volunteer for the Coyote Decoy program through Denver Parks and Rec to keep geese from becoming residents.

Los of people but everyone was very respectful. A variety of activities at this location. Great at sunset!

The park is great and all but the city should address an issue with the garbage cans as they have no bags.

Large park with a good walking path, playground, and outdoor workout equipment. They also have a swimming pool thats open in the warmer months. My dog and I enjoy coming here. My only complaint is all of the geese excrement everywhere.

This park is INCREDIBLE! Today i sat on a powerful flat rock with my feet in the water, sunbathed, enjoyed the different birds, watched bass jump outta the water to snatch up flying insects for lunch and became so inspired i even hit up a little strength training session. The trees, grass and other vegetation are all well maintained theres new growth in the south side flower bed and many of the people Ive meant there are open-minded and friendly. We need to continue maintaining this and ALL public parks. Its a beautiful day every time i visit it. Highly suggest you treat yourself and loved ones. God bless.

This is our go to place whenever we get a chance to get away... Its close to our house in the busy city but it feels like its another world away... Walking our dog on the trails that take you around the lake is a good way to exercise while you wind down from what life throws your way... I always feel relaxed when Im leaving there!

Love the futsal courts at this park! The soccer culture is RICH here. Thank the city officials who set this up. We need more of this in Denver.

Large park with a fantastic body of water. Lots of nice walking paths, bike specific paths, tennis courts, a large grassy field, a little calisthenics workout area and also a pool. I cant comment on the pool however. Parking on the street around the park is pretty ample.

Forestry just completed branch thinning and hollow tree removal adjacent to residences on South side. Safe and cleaned up work area. Good crew. Trash pickup and path cleaning timely. This has become a nice park with lake.

A peaceful stop to spend the lunch hour. I can see many others have the same idea. Good spot for chilling out.

My dog and I love Garfield park. But the litter and pot smell is so bad. I feel very sad such a sweet park is so unhealthy for families.

Relief for being thirsty

Great lazy day park fishing walking bbq pits all kinds pf options here at this lovely park! Playground for kids just a very nice all around place to go just chill out relax and enjoy our Colorado outdoor life! And wildlife you might see there ducks geese that get on the road that make it hard to get to the park Lol!! But once you get there well worth it! You might find frogs snails lizards snakes! Fish for the fishermen there are rainbow trout and catfish thought Ive never caught one here yet!! And there might be other species in the lake that I just dont know about because Ive just not caught it yet!! So hope this helps some to enjoy there day out here to enjoy the Colorado sun!!

Would be a good Park if Denver parks and recs put the effort into it for the kids that live in the neighborhood and stock the lake with fish i see kids out there fishing to No Surprise they do not catch anything I wish Denver Parks and Rec and the Department of Wildlife implementing a plan the stock the lake with fish such as trout bluegill and catfish . I think that would keep kids and parents interested in the recreation use of the park maybe one day I will see that come to pass I live very very close to that Park and pass it on a daily basis .

Lovely park with a beginners level bike course for all ages. Try catching it on a summer weekday, when the nonprofit bicycle shop is open.

Garfield Lake park is a medium sized park on the southwest side of Denver. It has a nice little trail that surrounds the lake thats used by walkers and cyclists. This park also has a playground, a pool, restrooms, a water fountain, basketball and tennis courts and large open fields to play football, baseball and soccer. When I went the park was mostly quiet with a few people walking around. Good place to visit if youre in the area.

Vary nice park. Local residents very polite. The vendor with the little white cart is very nice his corn on the cop is to die for the lake is stalked with fish.

Its definitely a smaller playground, but the overall park is nice. Theres a bike track with wooden structures and gravel. Also a nice pond and cement walkway around it.
