A beautifully architected and very informative museum with something to offer for all age groups. The gift store is top notch. The docents are friendly and well informed. The Dinosaur exhibits are wonderful and offer family picture opportunities. Cool place to visit and spend a day and pick up unique gifts for the folks back home.

An iconic denver experience in a unique building located in scenic city park. The museum entices the mind but allows for plenty of opportunities for relaxation and fun as well. Just make sure to always check if the exhibit you want to see requires an additional ticket. The amazing view of downtown Denver and the mountains from the west side is a nice bonus!

I spent most of the time at the Gems and Minerals exhibition. So much fun and beautiful gems from around the world. My favorite was the aquamarine and did not know it was Colorados gemstone. The largest one was found in Colorado. Also, the sky terrace has the best view of the Front Range I have ever seen, breathtaking!

Amazing place to visit, all the exhibits look great and unique in its own way. Besides, it seems to be very useful to visit this place even for purely educational purposes. Indeed a very cool museum, I think I will come here more than once with my friends. You can walk here and just relax, and at the same time enjoy something really unusual.

Beautiful setting, the view of downtown and the mountains is spectacular. Today, because of the smoke haze from forest fires the mountains werent visible. The exhibits are very nice, plentiful, and very informative! The museum also had 3(?) touring exhibits for an additional charge, unfortunately they were sold out. I would recommend checking there website ahead of time to purchase tickets and check out the additional exhibit, enjoy!

So much to see and do! Although masks are required in the building, there is still so much to see and do. The Lego exhibit was amazing! There are several exhibits that change out a few times a year so there is always something new to see. There are elevators and escalators which is great since there are 3 floors of educational and fun things to see and learn. There is a place to eat and a gift shop. There is also a pressed penny machine if you want a cheap memento.

I adore spending time here. And thankfully you can see some of the traveling exhibits!Edit (thanks reviewer comment, let me help more) Not only a vast information of knowledge, there is far more to explore for the the intellectually curious. Based on information from the museum, you are capable of locating your entire answer. This is extremely important for many items. Thankfully, they do not disclose exact locations of items, but give you a relative location to what matters to the curious mind. You all got this... as long as you listen.Location is NOT an invite. It is a relatively accurate description of where items came from. This does NOT mean you can go search... it means you are now privileged to understand what region. Please respect museums...and furthermore, please respect what is said. The gem collection was very surprising and afforded my kids many ahs and ohs. The health exhibit was also wonderful and very interactive and offered statistics on our health. This museum covers so much, ranging from animals, science, culture and prehistoric era, etc. The work, art, and the details of the wildlife exhibits are simply amazing. I spent the entire afternoon, yet I hadn’t even read the descriptions; that tells you how big the place is and how many things you can see here. The mummy section is a little small, it’s probably better to make this theme bigger or simply remove it and change it to something else. But overall the experience is definitely a wow.

Spent five hours at the museum and still had more to see! I loved the exhibits and the convenience of the food on site. There are a few out of date readings and buttons that don’t work but it was charming. The museum has an amazing view of the city that was almost worth the visit alone. They did not do a good job of keeping people 6 feet apart and a lot of people not wearing their masks properly. If you are worried about virus exposure, maybe skip this. The new ticketing procedures to limit foot traffic are easy and make the overall experience less crowded and more enjoyable. Entry to tight spaces like the mineral exhibit are well controlled. All the kids in the family really love every second of it. There is a lot to look at and interact with. We took a lot of family that flew in from New England for her graduation last summer (Double Masters degrees). They loved it! We also all ate at the cafe there and it was really good food. I highly recommend this museum for anyone.Side note about the traveling exhibits: We caught the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit a couple of years ago which was cool but they let so many people in at once that we couldnt get close to the actual display because people we camping out at the actual scrolls and not letting anyone in. We asked about it and the exhibit was not run by the museum but the traveling exhibit. Some of the travelling exhibits are run really well but sometimes its a bit of a mess. We went on a Sunday and there wasnt many people in there and its just science exhibits and nature mostly so wondering why they need like 30 security guards walking around? Lmao they having some sort of issues? They watch you like hawks and make it more uncomfortable walking around because they are judging you. Like what am i gunna steal? The mona lisa? Lmao The older lady with the glasses at the info desk by the gift shop was suuuper mean too when i asked where the mens room was she just says in a rude tone uh its over there. Horrible service. The gift shop was ok but the lady in there was trying to sell us hand sanitizer rather than tell us there was some right outside when i asked where any dispensers were. Cool exhibits but should ask where did all the millions and millions of dollars go that has been donated? They need to put some into new employees or better training. More security camera monitoring if they want that much vs all the guards walking everywhere lol sheesh. I would not recommend going here for the price honestly not worth it.
