I just went recently as part of field trip for my class and I enjoyed the museum. It’s a small museum, so it should be only a 10-15 minute event but I really learned more about the African/Caribbean culture and it’s influence in Delray Beach. The museum is truly advocating for cultural diversity and informing the public about the black experience in America.

Beautiful morning viewing an exhibit of portraits of resilient women! The photographer captures the essence of each woman in such an arresting and amazing manner! We meet the founder of the museum quiet by chance, a very charming woman, and curator of the museum. We engaged in thoughtful and affirming conversation that made this such a fulfilling visit with many more to come!
