STOP BY. Amazing modern art and very cheap (especially for students!).This is an old schoolhouse that was recently renovated following a generous donation in 2017.The lady who welcomed us was so passionate about the museum she took 5 minutes to privately tell us about the history of the schoolhouse and how it became what it is today.At time of visit, there were 6 rooms each with art from an artist who was mandated to fill the room.The theme was immersion. Upon entering a room, some of which were dark and closed by black curtains, you came into the artists world, their mind, their thoughts.Loved the experience. Wasnt expecting that at all in Delray Beach.

Lovely space! For an art lover, it is the exact perfect size museum for a leisurely stroll through the beauty of artists creations. The Galleries are impressive! The artists chosen are unique and their work remarkable!The museums gift store offers local artists items! Kudos to whomever made that decision!Great experience - I highly recommend the Cornell!

This museum is an awesome little jem in Delray. The exhibits are beautiful and the staff here are friendly. I definitely recommend checking Cornell Art Museum out if youre in the Delray area. 5 stars!

Amazing art museum with many bright and beautiful art pieces. Many were both interactive and thought provoking.

Its Thursday, and the season is over, yet downtown Delray Beach is full of life, live music, exhibitions and beautiful people walking and enjoying the city.

Been here many times to see several interesting exhibits. In the heart of the Delray Atlantic Ave. fun. Small fee.

Hidden gem in Delray! Beautiful, interesting, well displayed modern, unusual artwork and installations. Curator, Melanie Johannson, is extremely welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. This was my first visit to Conell. I know it wont be my last visit to this updated, state of the art local museum.

I went strictly for my friend Sonyas art/fashion exhibition. Frankly never heard of the museum before Sonya told me. In fairness I dont live in Delray. Easy to find, everyone was warm and friendly that worked there. Its set up as a 4 square. Each room spacious and well lite. Downside, air conditioning needs to be serviced. Tonight was the season opening. Either it was an oversight or not a priority. Definitely needs looking after. Gift shop set up not inspiring. The exhibition worth a look.

Small but focused museum with great installations and exhibits. Museum shop has unique items, and photography is encouraged in the museum as long as the art is respected. Visited for the Flora exhibit as pictured, and was glad to catch the flowers before the end of the exhibition (at the end of summer).

The Place is good for the family and friends to visit, but the trash is everywhere

We truly enjoy coming here when in town. Worth the entrance fee.

Such a great place for the arts. It is kept almost entirely with its original building, floors, and windows.

So for a small ish town like Delray, this gallery has some exceptional programming. Never a let down.

Wonderful renovation to the museum making light and open and inviting. New Director and her assistant are top notch and guiding museums shows in a wonderful direction. Community needs to visit and enjoy this treasure and support the Cornell Art Museum.

If youre looking for something to do on Atlantic that doesnt involve bartenders and food, check out Cornell. Small but great place for a change of pace.

Such a beautiful exhibits showing. And the lady there was super nice and told me that they have a tour of the school the first thursday of every month. I cant wait to visit again

By far the friendliest staff and volunteers of any art museum we have visited nationally, but the best staff tend to be at the smaller museums, because they dont rely on large funding and major exhibits. Being a small museum, they feature local and non local artists but also, beautiful and thought provoking work.

Often overlooked but easily seen. It was a while before I ventured in to the old school now museum. The display changes a few times a year so fun to go back over and over again once you have explored it. Really cool date idea.

Its a nice place, aiming to be good. Still missing some house keeping and maintenance on the shows (like un-charged iPads for a VR display, at 11am).The location and the building potential is great

I googled a FREE picture gallery. This is not it. The women stopped my friend at the door. Do not bring rude people here. Its a nice place.

I have been to the museum several times to just walk through and see the latest exhibit or take in some of the presentations that they periodically have by artists that are showcasing their works. It is well staffed with knowledgeable volunteers and full time staff.
