First time here and let me tell you it was amazing! Loved the Texas cheeseteak. The peanut butter pie was the best I ever had. From top to bottom this place exceeded my expectations and will be coming back more often then not. Definitely coming back!

The brunch is very plentiful but pretty mediocre. The cornbread and the quiche are very good. The bacon tasted like it was left under a heat lamp for an hour. The syrup was dominated by the flavor of rosemary and the fried chicken was way overcooked

Fabulous!!!! Our service was awesome and the food was delicious. Even with all the covid and Christmas craziness, we were well taken care of all night, I only wish we could have taken the time to see their live music!I would absolutely love to return next time were in the area!

We visited after seeing an Its Not Fair the Fair is Cancelled event on a Wednesday evening but they advised that they were only featuring some fair food. We decided to stay and have some drinks and share a couple of things. The Fried Brisket Mac & Cheese with TEXAS HOT Ranch was delicious! The Texas Cheesesteak was so delicious, a little different from a Philly steak as it was served on Texas Toast and came with homemade potato chips. They have a large selection of draft beers. I also had a Martini and it was the best Ive ever had. The service was great and there was a large outdoor area for a huge crowd. Will definitely visit again!

I love this place. The patio is huge and lots of heaters and wood fires going. It was perfect sweater weather today ...almost warm with the fires and heater. Wasnt crowded at all outside ...and the staff is really helpful and friendly. Food was great, with a variety of things to choose from.

I had a good experience overall. Loved the lice show. Drinks are at a reasonable price for the area. Food was good.I’m giving 5 stars because they had bees and with the brunch we had the entire honeycomb in our table. Also they messed up with my check. But I think this place is great.

This place is AMAZING! The staff was super friendly, and was quick with suggestions when asked. The onion rings to start and the drunk chic as meal. Then finished up with the banana pudding. This place is an absolute must if you’re in the downtown Dallas area!!!

Great Atmosphere! While eating there, there was live music and a pop up shop comprised of local artists. Staff was friendly and very nice! There food is exceptional and I would highly recommend getting the peanut butter pie dessert! We were the envy of all the tables around us.

Always a good time at the Rustic. Live music, good food, amazing huge patio but tonight I got above and beyond service that I had to share. Fernando (the manager I believe) was one of the nicest, genuine people I have ever encountered at any restaurant or bar I have been to. He is a great asset to this place and they are lucky to have him! Thank you Fernando!

The rustic is always a fun chill spot, the food is pretty good and its got a great laid back atmosphere they had some live music which was great. My Salmon wasnt cooked all the way so could only eat the very ends where it was cooked it was completely raw in the middle, and our waitress was extremely rude about it when we asked if it could be cooked more or something, but we asked for a manager and they took one look at it and apologized and took it off our bill which was really nice. The salmon was incredibly delicious, so it was a shame I hardly got to eat it.

And it packs flavor!!The staff is well attentive! I love the button they leave on your table to call your waiter/waitress over. Makes me fell fancy while still being in a casual place thats worth your money.Alcoholic drinks are amazingAnd me and my fiancee love to come for dinner and order tacos that come family style cooked on top of cactus

Surprisingly the wait was not long! The staff was nice and it was refreshing to be in the open air of a restaurant that is getting social distancing correct! The brunch was absolutely delicious... It was a great amount of food that accompanied the liquor in the Belini perfectly! The live music was a great addition to a perfect day for brunch!

The rustic is always a very nice experience. Social distancing is respected. I love the cactus fries but they’re unfortunately not on the menu at the moment ):Omar was our server and was very attentive and patient when we asked tons of questions regarding the menu. You can tell he is knowledgeable and passionate about guests having a 10/10 experience. We will ask for Omar next time we visit!

Awesome beach meets rustic indoor patio vibe. The pull to be outside is strong. Absolutely, loved it. Im sure this place is a must after 5pm and on the weekends. Good draft beer selection.Tried the deviled eggs. Not like my mama makes but, yummy to the tummy, just the same. Judging by the number of staff gaggled up, they must be covered up when the sun sets. 40+ staff and 12 customers at 4pm. Calm before the storm, it seems. Cool outdoor/indoor live band stand.

Great entry, great social distancing, energetic staff, our waitress was engaged, not bothered. Sunday brunch menu is excellent on the patio. A truly enjoyable outing. Did not check out the restrooms. I will next trip

This is actually the first restaurant/bar I’ve been through since this whole coronavirus pandemic. Honestly I thought that I’d feel more nervous about it, but they did a great job spacing people out, enforcing mask wearing when you get up from your table, and ensuring good ventilation. I sat in the HUGE back patio area which doubles as an outdoor concert venue, and they even had a guy playing music up on the stage. Frankly it was nice to feel quasi-normal again. The beer from the bar was great, and came in big almost goblet like glasses. The street tacos we ordered were amazing. The wait and bar staff were very attentive. Last time I came here was for a Pat Green concert, and let me just say it has been WAY too long! I love this bar / restaurant / music venue. It’s great for young & old alike.

Great food, great drinks, and great service. Stay cool in the outdoor area with misting fans and keep your social distance with the separated tables. Go for the Drunk Chick and give the grilled artichoke a shot.

Do not, and I repeat DO NOT let any vegetarian in your life try their messy jessy. It will ruin meals for them forever. Nothing you make, no matter how hard you try, will ever stand up to this perfectly crafted sandwich. Night after night I have tried to out craft the messy jessy and for over a year now I have failed. I know it may be appealing as creative vegetarian meals are rare and hard to come by in most restaurants but do not give in to its Siren like calls.

The food was amazing! Our waiter suggested the Drunk Chick (beer can chicken) and it did not disappoint. The side of jalapeno spoon bread was great also. My wife had the Hot Chicken and Cheese with potato salad and it was great also.They had a live DJ and the music was not too loud. They also served food till midnight on Friday. I will definitely go back!

I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I have to say their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place clean consistently. Prices are reasonable and they serve generous portions.

Oh Em Gee! Me and hubby did brunch here for our anniversary. It was nothing less than amazing. Every bite we took was better than the last. We were definitely impressed. The grit cakes and French toast were my favs. My husband loved the grit cakes and chicken fried steak. Everything was soooooooo good. We plan to make this a weekly thing!

Nice outdoor patio with some occasional live music. Could benefit from placing some smaller tables out there since not all groups eating/drinking there consist of 4+ people. The menu could use some work. Who really eats pimento cheese...maybe your grandma!

The server attempted to give me a meal that was eaten from by someone else from our table. He didnt even attempt to bring it back until I addressed it. Smh, I expected better.

One of the best spots to hit in Down Town Dallas! Brunch is family style and a wide variety of items. I enjoy that their brunch includes lighter options, cheese and crackers, Salad, Avocado toast so you dont feel bogged down when your finished! Went yesterday around 3 it was my first time and all I can say is wow!!! Everything from the outdoor seating and live music to the waiter and food was absolutely amazing, I’ll definitely be back!

Great food, awesome staff. Unfortunately, my steak was cooked medium after I requested rare. A pretty big deal to me. Everything else was amazing. I wouldve not order the ribeye for 33 bucks if they were going to cook it wrong.

Delightful first experience at The Rustic! Food was delicious, Sangria was bomb, and dessert was on the house for our first time in! The live music was also quality and created a pleasant, laidback atmosphere. I don’t live in TX, but I would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

We absolutely loved this place. The waiter was so helpful and patient with our kids. A really cool environment and probably way cooler when live music is playing. Everyone loved what they got and they had plenty of great drink options for kids and adults. If I lived in downtown Dallas Id become a regular here. Very cool place!

I just visited this past weekend and it was terrible in complying with social distance protocols. The entire restuarant and backyard area was completely full. They did a horrible job at estimating the times for seating as we waited nearly an hour and a half with no definite answer on when wed be available to sit somewhere. They do have good $5 margaritas. Their nashville burger is quite a disgrace to Nashville hot chicken. I wasnt really impressed by the food but the venue itself seems to be nice with cute lights, outdoor eating and live music. I was worried for the staff to be serving people where masks and social distancing isnt enforced. Its corona town here.

Great place. Its a fun place to eat with interesting food. The deviled eggs appetizer was a surprise delight. Delicious cactus fritters with a spicy ketchup. I got the that salad and with chicken. Its was light and refreshing with a citrus vinaigrette. The staff was friendly and prompt.

Very welcoming establishment. Much larger than the Austin location. I had a limited menu on Saturday, but enjoyed the Rustic Burger. The burger comes with brisket, back ask for it on the side. Let’s not forget the mountainous portion of fries that even I couldn’t tackle half this serving. The beer is cold with many Texas options to choose from. The cherry on top had to have been the classic country music that bellowed from the speakers.

The rustic has amazing food and phenomenal beverages! the atmosphere is perfect. we had a private party of about 25 and we had our own little private section by the bar and it was the perfect amount of space to mingle and socialize. it has a nice bar feel sort of camaraderie feel to it so it was nice and relaxed. definitely will be visiting here again!

4 stars because it took forever to receive our food without communication from our server. The food was warm, not hot but we were too hungry to care, because of the wait.Although the food was not hot, it still tasted good. There was live music by Joseph Veazie and it was amazing. We sang our hearts out, felt like we were the only ones in the room having a private concert, it was great!I highly recommend visiting. The culture is wonderful.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was spacious, clean, and the theming was interesting. My meal was flavorful and the menu had lots of options. However, I had to return my chicken because it was under cooked and the tastes of the drinks werent consistent. I ordered the same drink 3 times and each time it tasted differently.

Nice place, kind of crowd when we went but was Saturday so it may be that, service not to bad but could be better. Food; we get the rustic burger and as the name said it was bit rustic and bit of raw for my taste. Cool sport bar and nice patio with live music and games. Recommend place if you go to Dallas Downtown.

I really enjoy the Rustic. It’s great to sit outside on a nice day as well (esp if they have their live music). Keep in mind that on the weekends they serve a “family style brunch” until 3 PM. It’s $16.50 per person and it’s a tray of all different types of food (fried chicken, cheese plate, mini donuts, etc...). That’s the only option of food you have before 3 PM so you should really be prepared to eat if you’re going!

Fantastic venue! A little oasis. Delicious apps and wonderful drinks. The music venue is amazing, love the stage access and there didnt seem to be a bad seat in the house! Picnic tables and cozy vignette seating outside and traditional tables inside. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying a break in the entertainment. Oh, dont forget to throw your ice shot glass against the bell :)
