The theater is great. Seats are even comfortable. Parking is very weird because you have to go outside the garage to get in building! But once inside, one of my favorite venues.
Smaller venue but has good seating everywhere. Only issue during this visit was it was a little too warm. Staff was very courteous and responsive. I had a question regarding changing seats. The attendant found an answer and came looking for me to make accommodations. Very responsive.
Lovely smaller venue in downtown. Comfortable seats, wide aisles. Nice multi level lobby. Does have lots of stairs in lobby as well as to and from restrooms and I didnt see an obvious ramp.
Love this place! I attended a play and a symphony here, and its the perfect venue. Its large enough that its not cramped, but still quaint.
Attended a Mo Rocca interview and discussion seated at row M. Great sight lines since rows are sloped. Good venue for stage presentations. Facility is well maintained.
A beautiful, well placed performance hall located in the thriving performance arts district of dallas, Moody is a great venue for slightly smaller settings, where all seats are well positioned both visually and audibly. Ive only been here once so I dont know it really well but I really enjoyed my time there.
Very cozy venue. I really enjoyed hearing the turtle creek choir. Will definitely return to see more plays
Nice intimate small chamber music. You will not be disappointed. Seats are bigger than most venue.
Beautiful interior and excellent acoustics. Had the opportunity to hear the Lone Star Wind Orchestra for the first time here- the group sounded phenomenal, and whenever there was an instrumental solo, it sounded as if the player was sitting in the seat next to you. Ill be back to see more performances at Moody soon, Im sure!
Always a great mommy daughter date night provided by Hopekids. But would be wonderful for any kind of date or night out. Beautiful art district great photo op. Variety of events and venues to attend. We saw a Ballet this time. Beverages including wine and liquor for purchase. Handicap seating is available. #LetsGuide
Beautiful venue. Easy to get to. Family friendly and handicap accessible.
Viewed a brilliant production of an adaptation of Shakespeares Hamlet! Seth Magills performance was amazing as Hamlet, and Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso made Ophelia come alive! The actors brought life to Shakespeares play. Relevant for modern times, Hamlet is enjoyable for all of your family and friends! The performance hall seating is accessible and very comfortable. Break out session has light drinks at moderate prices, with coffee, soda and snacks. Enjoy the last matinee performance at 2pm Sunday afternoon! Youll be glad you did! - UniquelyD
We loved the venue. Concrete, Wood and Glass all beautifully conjoined... Furthermore, we witnessed the world premier of Joy Atkins-Bollinger’s new dance, Hillside. Fabulous!
Wonderful performance venue, challenging to navigate from parking to ticketed seat, block long walks, half flight of steps up to auditorium entrance to downward aisle.
I love this performance hall as it is small and there isnt really a bad seat. I often feel that the performances there are much more person and boutique.
Had a friend take me here the other day and it was much nicer than expected! Loved it
Beautiful place that allows you to enjoy the performance no matter where you choose to sit!
Wonderful acoustic! The facility is very clean, contemporary and great for music!
Not a bad seat in the house. Beautiful theater. Amazing concert.
Great venue to see the ballet
I love this place! Friendly staff, wonderful acoustics, and a perfect sized performance hall. A real treat to see a concert here!
Beautiful facility. Easy but pricey parking
Its beautiful place!! Just finding parking lots, space was a bit hectic.
Beautiful room. High lofty ceilings in the lobby, and a continuous theme of concrete offset by blonde wood. Great acoustics.
Went on a field trip (driver) and was invited to watch the performance. It was great to see something different. The building architecture itself is magnificent. I would definitely go there again to see another dance studio perform.
I see Bruce Wood Dance perform here twice every year. Great company, perfect venue for dance.
Amazing performances at both Basically Beethoven concerts that I had the good fortune to attend. Casual, family friendly, kids enthusiastically welcome, with no compromises on the quality of music presented. By far the highlight of Dallas Im July.
This was a lovely venue with excellent acoustics. We saw a show of one man singing opera with piano accompaniment, and he didnt even need a microphone. The aesthetic is clean, modern, and minimalist. The underground parking was reasonably priced for this event.
Great Venue! Recoverys got Talent was awesome!!
I performed for the Voices of Women. Of course the revenue isnt really suited for 200+ women backstage, however we all managed. The dressing rooms were very nice and the performance stage enhanced and carried our sound very well.
Great acoustics and sight lines, and COMFORTABLE seats (unlike the Wyly next door...)
Nice smaller venue where every seat has a good view.
Nice intimate venue for hearing good music.
Great location. Parking is 10 bucks though. Free for Lexus:-) We went for a concert of young talented musicians. Our friend’s daughter is one of them.Nice concert hall, beautiful acoustics, comfortable seats.
A wonderful performance place. Great facility.
Very fancy venue. I loved the concert!
Beautiful theater. They did a great job remodeling this place!
Beautiful hall. We enjoyed the play!
The songs youre awesome in Spanish it should have been translation above stage just like they do it winspear Opera House on the Opera is in another language such as German or Italian. The best part of the program was the performance of the students of Booker T Washington High School.
Cool theater, everything is really nice and clean, no bad seats. Lots of different options for inexpensive public parking nearby.
Went to a private event. The organizers took care of parking, thank goodness, since there isnt much parking on the streets with the construction going around... Only paying parking lots. The facilities are beautifully done.
Nice space and great for a corporate meeting.
The performance by Angel Blue was beautiful!
Watched Bodytraffic, LA based company performance, Titas series. Hall itself is a great venue, my favorite one - feels so intimate and personal, and at the same time is a great for those type of performances.
Always clean, nice atmosphere staff is friendly.
Great venue for a great MLK Symposium put on by the Dallas Institute
We saw Hamlet by Shakespeare Dallas. The play was great. I liked their interpretation. The venue is very mice. It is small and intimate. I dont think there is a bad seat in the house. They had a bar in the lobby. The seats were very comfortable, and the acoustics were good. It was also very clean and we maintained. Ill be happy to come to this venue again if I get the chance.
Smaller performance venue allowed the balcony seating a very nice view of the performance. Clean restrooms and adjacent parking. Overall, an enjoyable facility for a performance. Also served a nice variety of snacks and beverages. ADA accessible seating with elevator use.
The Nutcracker was beautiful!! Great venue.
Nice hall. Good site lines. Only negative is that you have to go outside to get to the underground parking. Several sets if stairs but only saw one elevator that goes to ground level. A short walk then to Moody.
Beautiful facility. Very clean and displays a lot of culture.
I have attended several performances and shows in this beautiful facility. All seats have good views and the acoustics are good.
Saw the Turtle Creek Chorale there today. It was fabulous. Great sound and effects. Whole facility is great.
Nice intimate theater, great acoustics, good view from any seat in theater.
Saw Turtle Creek Choral and Bobby Jo Valentine. Best place ever
Easy access, good acoustics and cool music. What could be better?
This venue is one of the best in Dallas.
Small but nice performance hall. Easy access, parking available, but can be pricy. Good selection of shows with affordable pricing. Not sure if there are bad seats in the house. Acoustics are good.
Beautiful venue. I saw the Turtle Creek Chorale and they were exceptional.
Concession is very limited and excessively expensive. The building is beautiful and well-maintained. I never figured out parking since we took the train. The performance hall is just small and intimate enough for most seats to be good seats. Minus 1 star on the concession experience.
Beautiful, new, fairly small performing arts theater. Seats are comfortable with plenty of knee room and width. Great place to hear a concert with close (if expensive) parking at Lexus Red or Silver garages
My wife and I had one of the best nights that we would like to be informed of more presentations like the one of Aida Cuevas. She put on such a great show last night. Her charm and charisma had all of the audience singing along with her. Out of a 5 star rating, she was a definite 10 plus. Thanks again for having GB her there.
Bruce Woods Dance Project was phenomenal! The hall itself was a little warm, but so very nice. Parking was easy and accessible.
Nice size, intimate concert hall.
Ive been to several shows at Moody and it is a wonderful place to attend events at. All seats have a good view. Architecturally it is impressive too.
Fantastic venue. Our daughter has performed in choirs a couple of times here, and weve loved each performance.
Great location to see the arts! Comfy seats, sound, performance, all very nice!! Will look into other shows at this venue!
I went to see the TCC show. The staff was friendly. Everything was very organized. The theater was clean and not cramped. Definitely would visit again to see other performances.
Fantastic venue! Not a bad seat in the place. Very professional staff. Even found parking easy! With checking out for sure.
This is one of my favorite performing arts venue in DFW. Great acoustic and very intimate for a medium size venue.
Grand performance hall situated in the heart of downtown Dallas arts district in Flora street. The building has two main areas - the atrium and the theater. The atrium is large and spacious, the theater is dark and centers on a stage.
Love this newer performance venue in downtown Dallas! The acoustics are great and all of the ingress, egress, and seating is easy and comfortable. And the vibe is a hip, casual elegance that we like a lot.
The seating was great parking was$17.
Incredible performance by the Turtle Creek Chorale, not affected by the storm yesterday.
Was my first time going to Moody, and I enjoyed it. The theater was a little smaller than the one in Florida I was used to, but not cramped. Enough leg room that I didnt even have to get up when someone would walk down the row I was sitting in. My biggest complaint with the bathrooms on the first floor not being able to accommodate the demand. I think I literally had to wait about 20 minutes just to use the bathroom at one point before the show. Bathrooms are not enough to deter me from going again to see another show.
Beautiful Building with performance halls small enough to be intimate yet comfortable. Great acoustics. And a plus that they offer free shows on the weekend.
Very accessible, interesting programs, and love the interior
This Venue & Winspear Opera House Are My Favorites In Dallas In Recent Years!
Good venue, for its size, to watch a live performance. There isnt a bad seat in the house.Easy access. Ample parking. Polite and helpful staff. Well managed facility.
Great acoustics, comfy seats.
Among the best acoustics anywhere
Great time there however restrooms not enough for large crowds
Ive sung in the performance hall as a member of the Womens Chorus of Dallas yearly since It first opened. It is beautiful, clean, and inspiring. The acoustics are fabulous. The seats are nicely spaced and comfortable. Its really wonderful.
Little tooo artsy for this ole boy but a good friendly place.
Beautiful venue where free concerts are provided all the time by the Fine Arts Players. Also the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra presents concerts here.Parking is alwayd a problem, as it is in Downtown Dallas, but it is brand new and perfect for small events.
Great venue for live performance
Fantastic Venue... Peter White and Eugene Groove are the BEST!
Good performance hall in center of arts district and within 10 min walk from DART Pearl St Arts District train station ( saves you over $10 in parking ).
Beautiful event space!
I have yet to experience a good performance there. The place looks like they ran out of money during construction...maybe it’s the blend-in of brut style I don’t get. Nevertheless, there is no coat check-in. Leads to people having their wet coats on their laps. It’s almost always an organizational mess there too. Bar serving drinks is nice. Letting people in with bottled beer is not...this is not a cinema. Disrespectful for the artists. In other words, it’s a smaller stage in city center, where you can expect art, but there is nothing fine about it.
