The Granada is a grand old theater, and a reasonably good concert venue, but still difficult if one is not sitting in the floor seating. Balcony seating is not sloped enough to provide clear sight lines from all seats. Sound is good everywhere, and at the concert I went to not too, too loud - averaging out slightly over 82 decibels. Theres enough convenient parking in a modest cost. Not my favorite venue, but acceptable.

Really enjoyed this venue. Think it was my first time there, too. Got to see IAMX, and the band was AMAZING and full of energy throughout the entire show! They rocked out the house and everyone was having an amazing time, from what I could tell, and the energy of the patrons was great, too! Didnt cone across anyone that was rude at all. Venue is quaint but with a decent amount of room for many people, and a bar in back. Definitely willing to go back for another show, as the Granada was kept clean and nice throughout, even the restrooms were clean and nice! Got a few good shots of the show, too!

Event was great. Artist showcased their talents and love for their musical crafts and skills. Fans came out for a evening/night of fun and to celebrate hip-hop Dallas and got just that! Drinks are served at the bar for those that are over 21. Reasonable price for libations. Parking was easy and location of venue is perfect. Its near a few restaurants as well as Bars and Grills.

Saw a Bob Mould concert here. This is a great place to see love music. What I like the most is that there are tiers to the main floor so everyone gets a good view. I dont think that there is a bad spot in the place. There are chairs and tables to the sides of you dont want to stand. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. There are multiple bars in the place so you can get a drink very easily.Pro tip:. The artist was in back of the theater signing stuff and meeting people after the show. Take the sidewalk to the back parking lot and they might come out after the show.

Really unique venue. I love the atmosphere here. I traveled from houston to dallas for the show and it was worth it. I saw the Wombats here last night and it was absolutely great. The sound was beautiful. The venue workers were also extremely nice. I was absolutely pleased with the venue, sound and everything. Bathrooms were nice too!The area is super nice too. Lots of places to eat and gas stations if you need to get anything while youre in line waiting. There is a restaurant in ties with the venue that you can skip the line with but Im not sure if its entirely worth it, but the food did look and smell good!!!Will be back again because it was a great time!!!

My boyfriend and I came here to see Lewis Capaldi on tour and this place is so intimate. There isnt a bad spot to stand because this location is so small youre basically on stage with the artist! Okay, its not that small, but you get the idea. The staff was quick to scan our tickets and everything is orderly. Depending on the artist and the night, you will be standing in a line that wraps around into the parking lot of the resturant next door. But again they were quick to get us inside once the doors opened. If there are any shows coming to town held in this location, I wont turn them down!

Granada Theatre is the classic anchor on the Greenville side of town. The marquee is so bright and nostalgic that it is truly a landmark worth visiting. Ive seen so many rock shows here that I cant even count. It has a surprisingly roomy interior, with bars inside the levels and standing room down at the front. The employees are friendly and people visiting tend to have a good time and be friendly as well. Head next door after the show for a drink at the rooftop bar.

I went here to see cavetown on 10/27/19. All the artwork is so pretty!! It was more cozy than a normal concert bc it only holds a small amount of people. Yes, there is a bathroom very close by to the concert room. The entrance to the building is small and has a bathroom. The entrance opens up to the venue! Theres two levels. No chairs on the first one. I dont know about the upper one bc I was down in the pit. I would come here for a concert again.

Love catching shows at the Granada Theater. Im not sure how many people it holds but it couldnt be more than a 1000. Ive been there for Sarah Jaffe when it was packed and you couldnt get to the bar and for the Lemonheads where they had a surprisingly light crowd. The drinks are about like any other Dallas location. $16 for a double vodka. The sound and lighting for the small venue were perfect. I love these small places were you can actually see the performers faces. Oh and plenty of parking behind the theater - it was $8 for the Lemonheads. Highly recommend catching your favorite show here.

Always love this venue for club tours! Watching from the balcony allows plenty of space to dance and clearly see the bands without having to find that sliver of view between the shoulders of your fellow attendees. Restrooms and bars in balcony and on the the floor. Bar tabs are bar specific. Great rooftop patio. Staff is wonderful - professional, logistically aware and problem resolving.Biggest drawback is parking. There is a SMALL, inexpensive ($8) lot behind the theater. When it fills up, good luck. Wear those gorgeous heels with caution! There are slopes, gravel and broken sidewalks to contend with. Loses a for parking.Building flow: the only (non-emergency) exit from the theater lobby is past the womens restroom. The long line has to compete with the mass exit and sometimes a merch table. The concert merch tables are generally set up on the opposite side of the lobby by the mens restroom and dont have to compete for floor space. Tip: the balcony restrooms rarely have lines and are gloriously air-conditioned.

Super awesome and great concert venue! Now, they have balcony seating and then they have general admission. I dont have the money for balcony seating so I cant say what thats like. But I can safely review the general admission! There are multiple sections where there are these half walls and the floor is a different height and thats because the Granada used to be a movie theater and thats where the old seats used to be. If youre bad with big crowds -and there are usually crowds- then I suggest you find one of these walls to hold onto. Especially come hydrated and in light clothing! It gets super stuffy and it feels like the AC isnt even on at times. I have seen numerous people pass out from how packed in and hot it is. So just come prepared! The bathrooms are nice and clean. They have dixie cups and water by the merch tables. Pretty sure they also sell liquor if thats something youre interested in.

I work alot around town running shows. Also a huge fan of great venues.Great for shows. But most of all the bar staff and stage crew were rude.I was amazed to see that directly after a show ending at 11 ish pm they rushed everyone out and were adamant about it!.Why would you push a large crowd out instead of staying open till at least 1 and increase bar sales and revenue?Very interested that a beautiful venue would nt cater to the thriving dallas scene and make alot more money by staying open afterwards longer and create a great place with alot of history to be a great late night hangout.Would nt recommend outside of the music.Sound engineer was great that night.Saw -Tennis- this night

They have plenty of bars (3) so you dont have to wait and the dividers between the different levels of GA are great for breaking up the crown and giving short people a chance for a good view. One of my preferred music venues. I am always comfortable and always have a great time.Stand and dance on the floor, or get a reserved seat in the balcony, its a good place to catch a band in a fun neighborhood.I usually sit in the balcony for shows. I try to sit to the right of the sound board, or to the left if my favorite seats are sold out. If you sit in the rows behind the sound board, your view might be obstructed.I like to eat dinner before the show at Aw Shucks oyster bar across the street. A fried catfish pp-boy or a Mexican shrimp cocktail before the party fuels the fun.The Granada gets some good acts. I see some of my favorite touring bands there.

This is a cool venue. Went to a concert to see Cat Power (awesome, btw) and you can see the stage well from almost anywhere. Theres also a balcony they open when theres enough people. We dont drink, but theres a few bar areas. Its pretty dressed down, nothing fancy and minimal. The reason for the three stars... there is NO seating at all. That I dont get. We got there early to get a good spot, so with the show, its almost four hours of standing. Thats just wrong to me. I would rent a chair! Im early 50s, but even if youre young, this is a lot of time to stand around. For that one reason, Im not sure I would visit again.

Officially my all-time favorite venue as of October 2019, nudging just over Atlantas Variety Playhouse and The Social/Beacham in Orlando. The tiered standing room is fabulous for shorties like me and each divider-wall even has a ledge for drinks, purses, and jackets. There isnt really a bad spot in the place and we had no problem getting to the front when we wanted to (whilst still having ample elbowroom). The building itself is gorgeous and the bathroom kempt (and MAGICAL once you realize the door isnt fake lol). The staff are nice and the security sensible, plus they maintain a free self-serve ice water station at the front.Tip: The exits can get pretty congested, so get any merch before the show is over as the line can get really backed up.
