Its really a great music venue! If you have the money book a VIP table early and sit in the front behind the sound board...great seats. If the front two rows are sold out then skip the VIP section and go General Admission. If you do go GA then get their early so you can stand near the stage...its hard to get drinks...but who cares...youre there for the music! The floor manager Mr. Benavides was great and so was our server in the VIP area...they have a button you can push anytime you need a drink or food...yeah and they come quick. Great Service & Great Music...skip the food upstairs and just do the concerts downstairs...thats what this place is really all about.

Excellent venue! One of my favorite.Sound: excellent. From the side of the stage, pit, back at the bars to the seats upstairs... sound is consistent.View: no matter where you are standing the angle of the floor makes the view great. Even the very sides of the front-stage are great without any pushing or shoving needed (if that’s what you prefer).Drinks: Plenty of bars on each side and the bartenders are attentive. They remember you and make sure you are taken care of quickly.Staff at the front is courteous and organized so you are in without a hassle while doing their job correctly.PARKING - be aware that they don’t have their own parking lot. Valet is cheap which may be tempting but the line to get your car after the show is extremely long. There is a public parking under the highway (2-3 minute walk) and cheap.

House of Blues has hosted our Kids Who Rock Camp performances as well as the Talent Shows. It is such a delight to work with professional and nice people. Always very accommodating for our events. A perfect place for the kids to show their talents. We also had a Christmas Holiday show this past 2018. The guests that were not a part of the show enjoyed it as well. Our shows are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!I cannot thank HOB enough for giving the kids a place to SHINE and what a better spot than the House of Blues?? Stay tuned & check the HOB calendar for more performances in 2019 from KIDS WHO ROCK.

As a small concert venue this place rocks. IT ONLY seats/stands about 2,500 crazy concert fans. If your more our age and have the money and the means I strongly suggest to pay the extra and sit in the VIP section. You get table side call service of good food and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages brought to you by friendly hostesses. If I was still in my 20s or 30s Id got for the very reasonably priced standing room only on the floor, but Im 50 so VIP for me.Sound is great, food is good, Beer is cold. Air Conditioning is great too. Sound is better then the autistics at Dos Equis Pavilion.

Food is very abundant on each order, you can also order to go.special thanks to Ruby M. she cleaned the boot where we sat originally since we decided to move to a table, she right away came and cleaned it........all is perfectly clean.

Update 1/9/19 - So after posting my original review below, the management of HOB responded to my review and asked that I send my contact information so they can reach out to me. Initially I thought that was nice of them to want to discuss some of the issues we faced on our visit. I promptly sent them my contact info ( twice) but I am yet to hear back from them. Now I’m thinking it was just something they did to appear like they care.So disappointed!!!Original reviewWife and I went to experience some live music and dinning on a Tuesday night. The music was great and definitely set the atmosphere, Ladarius played a wide variety of songs. The food and drinks however were a different story. First off we ordered a drink called “Royal Orleans” which was supposed to be crown royal apple, ginger, lime and mint. It tasted more like ginger ale with a splash of lime and mint. I tasted not crown royal in my drink. So we sent it back and got beer instead. The bar tender was defiantly not trying to have my wife and I turn up on a Tuesday! For the food we ordered the Smokehouse special with brisket and chicken. The flavor was ok but the brisket was a bit on the dry side and the portions of beans and slaw were quite small. And to add insult to injury the next morning my wife and I both had upset stomachs.

Ive been to five or six shows here this Summer alone and Im always impressed with the venue. The downstairs area has three large bar areas and a beer cart, so Ive never had to wait long to get a cocktail or beer. Cocktails are surprisingly affordable for a music venue, and the price of beer is about what youd expect. My double shots of Makers Mark currently cost $13, and a 24oz. domestic beer is $12.There is always plenty of security at the shows and the events feel safe and well organized. Metal detectors and wands are outside the entrance and there is an abundance of security inside the venue. The acoustics are fine, and the in house stage lights are fantastic. This is a great place to see concerts and is always a much better experience than the fair park amphitheater -- it is obviously much, much smaller. Sign up for their mailing list and you may even receive up to six free tickets to their less popular shows.
