I dont venture out much these days due to COVID, but I have to say that Transmission made me feel as safe as a place named transmission could. Staff was very attentive, very into enforcing the mask policy, and I saw them wiping down tables as people left. The beer was great and reasonable, and the games were awesome (and socially distanced!) Id be by twice a week if there wasnt a pandemic, and as it is Im discussing renting it out for a few of our families.

This is one of the best places to visit in Columbia. A must do if you’re in town and visiting for a short time (even a night). The food is amazing, I highly recommend the smoked wings but with vegan friendly options you also can’t go wrong with those. They cater to everyone. Not to mention the great selection of games to choose to play while you’re here. Killer Queen is very addicting and will keep you entertained for hours. All in all, I could keep going with how strongly I feel about Transmission Arcade but you have to experience it’s greatness for yourself.

Amazing selection of arcade and pinball. Had a private party and staff did a great job of managing safety while also having a fun atmosphere. Food was amazing, and had large drink selection. Definitely recommend!

Amazing food! Lots of vegetarian options too. The games were a lot of fun as well. They were doing a great job with Covid precautions and I felt very comfortable there. Thinking about doing a private party sometime in the near future.

Most exciting new restaurant/bar in Columbia in a long time. Best burger in town (cold smoked pattie really sets it off), reasonable beer prices, great atmosphere. My coworkers and I rented it out for two hours on a sunday afternoon and had a blast. Very clean. Staff was serious about covid but not in a way that made it impossible to have fun.

This place is awesome, pinball, classic video games, beer, and famous food, not to mention the staff. Nintendo 64 on the big screen and craft beer, nice music playing. Great place to relax and unwind. I would recommend this place for parties, reunions, birthdays or just skipping work for the day.

The boom of small businesses in Columbia is exciting and I have personally looked forward to Transmission Arcade opening for years! We hosted a surprise birthday party for some friends here recently and it did not disappoint. Cocktails were on point, food was outstanding, and the games speak for themselves. As strange as times are right now, Transmission Arcade has adapted admirably to allow themselves to stay open while insuring the safety of those who pass through their doors! Thank you for investing in our city with your time and creativity!

The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is good and cheap. The game selection is amazing and is at a good price.

Everyone, please go to Transmission asap! I’ve gone 3 times in the past two months and I love that we can rent out the whole place for 2 hours with free game play and not have to worry about anyone we don’t know being there. I always have a great time playing lots of pinball, killer queen & skee-ball! The food is great, beer/drink selection is great & the staff is amazing too! I love this place!

We attended a private party here in July - all quarantine safety guidelines were enforced: temp checks, face masks, social distancing. We had a wonderful time and the staff and bartender were so kind! I highly recommend!

This place is the bees knees. Good variety of retro games and pinball. Noticed they also have a board game collection, which I wasnt expecting. And dont just write this place off as a bar, the food is incredible! Missed Bar Nones smoked wing night? Have no fear, the wings are here and still delicious!Really appreciated all the precautions put in place at Transmission to make you feel safe having a night out amidst the COVID mess. We made a private reservation for us and a couple friends and it felt like a normal Friday night out. Temp checks at the door, hand washing before you play, and plenty of hand sanitizer throughout.

The food here is so good! I did delivery on Sunday night for a bunch of food. On Sunday they served their brunch menu all day. The smoked burger was amazing. The scotch egg was tasty. The smoked wings were awesome. My son chowed the Nutella cream cheese stuffed French toast like non other. The fried Brussels sprouts were good. The stuffed pepper salad was also good. The sauces were good too. The food is so flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to try it again!Edit: I am so pumped to learn that the bahn mi sandwich has a pork option. I cant wait to try it! Keep up the good work!

This place is the best. Lots of pinball and old arcade cabinets, and theyre all on free play when you book a private party. On top of it all, their food is delicious and all made in-house. They sanitize the entire place between each party. Its one of the only places Ive felt like I can go and have fun without worrying constantly. And you dont have to worry about randos getting in your bubble. Theres hand sanitizer everywhere, the staff are really cautious and always wearing their masks (the RIGHT way). Highly recommend. Ive tried almost everything on the menu. The pork bahn mi is another level is delicious and you cant go wrong with a single brunch item.

I love that they are currently allowing 2 hour rentals! It was a great way to stay safe with my family during quarantine. The food is also delicious and my sister and I were super grateful for the vegan options! Tons of arcade games to choose from (over a dozen) and they ranged from nostalgic to newer. Can’t wait to go back!

What a great addition to Main Street! I took a sneak preview tour and was very impressed. The owners have done an excellent job with this place and I look forward to it when it is ready for the public. This will be a popular Columbia hangout very soon.
