This is such a great place to take your dog! Theres so much room to run and play, the area is well maintained, and everyone is so friendly! There is an annual membership fee, and your dog is required to be fixed, up to date on their vaccines, and over 6 months old. I know some people dont agree with these requirements, but it makes the park safer for everyone! In November, we were able to take pictures with Santa, and theres other events throughout the year that are so much fun to attend! My dog is always so happy when we turn into the drive because she knows shes about to see all her friends! We love NOMA!
I’m happy that my June has a SAFE place to play! For those who don’t think you should have to pay; it’s ONLY $30 a year. That’s $2.50 a month or $.08 a day... that money provides members with key fobs to ensure the park is only used by members so it stays clean and safe for all. It pays for poop bags so you aren’t required to bring your own and it helps pay for the running water within the park so our pups can enjoy fresh water or get a spray down if needed. If you haven’t noticed the park also is well maintained and has benches and play equipment. All which require money to obtain and maintain. STOP COMPLAINING people! NOMA bark park is wonderful; if you’re too cheap to pay an annual fee of $30 go to the free dog parks around the city.
Enjoy walking the park. Need a few upgrades on track. Grading brushes trimed.
Went to have Santa pictures made and was able to walk around and check it out. This place is great! Cant actually go in yet because my pups arent fixed. Thats my only problem with this and other dog parks, as a vet tech I know the benefits of not fixing your pups until their growth plates have closed so they dont have arthritis problems later in life but dog parks wont allow you to bring them not fixed. If owners are responsible you can keep accidents from happening if they arent fixed. Other than that I absolutely LOVED the place itself and its amenities.
WASP HIVE IN COWBELL AT ENTRANCEAlso you have to pay a membership fee to use the park. As an out of town visitor, I was sad that my boys couldnt get in and then scared about the 5 wasps swarming around the cowbell. For the love of dogs do NOT ring that cowbell. I repeat, we do NOT NEED MORE COWBELL :)
We love NoMa! Theres lots of room for dogs to run and play, with a great stash of toys provided. Newly installed playground equipment for them to climb on. Big shade trees and several pools to keep the pups cool during these sweltering SC summers. You can also walk your dog around the track or through Earlewood Park. In my experience, NoMa has the best owners too. Everyone cleans up after their dogs and keeps their dogs behavior in check. The annual membership fee is budget friendly and assures that all the dogs in the park are vaccinated.
My boys love going to the dog park! Everyone is very friendly and there are tons of toys and kiddie pools for the pups to use.
All the bad reviews are super dumb. It’s a great place for $30 a year. Yes, your dogs need to be up to date on shots. Probably not a bad idea.
I do not have a dog, but was here on business. There are wide open places for dogs to run, and even a place where they can jump into the creek. Plenty of parking. Looks like a good place for puppies to have fun!
Place was clean and easily accessible. A good place to bring your kids for a nice relaxing day. They have a dog park and a baseball field, if I remember correctly. Three stars because at the beginning of the parking lot, there is a large gap on either side of the road that if a person angled their vehicle a certain way, theyd be in danger of running off the side of the road.
Its nice and clean. I believe the fee is $30 month for access.(coded gate)
My Beagle loves the new playground equipment!
Private park and no access for day pass for out of town guests
Quiet and charming
Only giving 1 star to share a review, this is not a public dog park. You must be member to utilize this park. Once you become a member you get a key so there is also a no visitors policy.
Regulations, licenses, rules, cost money, club. this park is anti American. No freedom. What a control freak running this thing. Dog parks around Clemson South Carolina are open and free for a dog owners and dogs. Why are there stupid rules in the Columbia and Lexington areas about dog parks? Is it because it’s run by somebody that went to USC because USC loves to charge for car parking. A park should be open and free. I hope my tax dollars are not paying nor partially funding this place.
A great park that is well maintained. The only possible downside is the annual fee and requirement that your dog have vaccinations. This helps keep the park safe and pays for the upkeep. I doubt anyone is making money on a $25 annual fee. Great dogs and people here.
Awesome
Quiet
Nominal fee ($25/ year) for a beautiful, fenced, large shaded off-leash park with a large and small dog area. Registration ensures all dogs are up to date on vaccines and sandy issues can be resolved. Great dog park!
Been a member for the 3rd year. LOVE THIS PARK! All breeds of dogs and people. Is a comfort to know that ALL the dogs have had their shots and there will never be accidental puppies. And all are registered with the city.
I love Noma park! My pupper loves it as well. It gives dog owners a sense of safety knowing its a membership only park that ensures all puppers are fixed and have all vaccines! Always clean and the other park goers are always so nice!
Tho my puppy was too small was fun watching the big dogs play like children lol
Clean park, need a bit more seating, and one or two of the fixtures (watercourse, climbing stones) need repair, but my child enjoyed playing there.
Its a grat Dog Park. All dogs are well mannered and get along great.
BEAUTIFUL PARK. I travel all over the world with my service dog. This is one of the nicest dog parks weve ever been to. Huge with grass and trees. Requires a membership to verify shots and understanding of rules, but worth it!!!!
I am cool with yearly fees for upkeep and obviously vaccines must be up to date, but required spay/neuter is ridiculous. A dog/owner should not be penalized because a pedigree dog is intact.
It was nice to be witj nature on a nice day....
Spacious, nice people and dogs.
Nice and big. It has a separation for older and younger dogs.
Such a friendly place and my dogs love it here!!
Beautiful park great disc golf course
I am very happy to pay a yearly fee so my pedigree, spayed and vaccinated animal can not be exposed to disease, intact related aggression, and unwanted advances from unsterilized males! Love NOMA and the standards they keep.
Private Dog Parks: Must pay yearly fees and spade/castrate your pedigree to enter. Dont vacation in Columbia/Lexington, South Carolina with your pets these places are not pet friendly.
A great community of people who care deeply about their pups.
Pay fees for a non profit park. And I have to spay/neuter my pups? Hell no.
Spay and neuter required? Take ur park and shove it
Noma Bark Park is the place to be!
Well it would have been O K if me and my two little service dogs could have gotten to get in so in this case I give it a low grade and there was a section of fence missing in the small area of the dog park so I give it a 0
