Beautiful view. Peaceful area.

No crowds! Gravel and cement walkways to walk around on. Beautiful out put windy day. Lots of buildings to wander by and look at. Museum open with womens voting rights display.

Nice, simple lake with no frills. Not much nature here. Views of apartment buildings. Has 1.5 mile gravel trail around the lake with no shade trees to accompany it. Hopefully the fishing is good

Usually some sus people in the parking lot and I wouldnt hang around at night. Great during daytime, theres a beautiful trail that goes around the Boone County Historical park.

This is a nice park with sidewalks and paths to walk on. Historical buildings are present with descriptions outside; I have not been inside them, since I usually go after business hours. Nifong Park is home to Maplewood Barn Theater; its a nice venue for community theater productions in the summer. There is a small, well-kept playground available, and a modest lake. (Ive seen one or two fishermen there, but dont know the rules for that.) Wheelchair accessible around the park, but cant speak for the buildings.

This place is the very best. Its typically so quiet and serene, and it has such a fantastic Missouri feel. The sunsets are always incredible, no matter what season it is!

This is one of our favorite parks. Its great from kids 8 and under. The designers did a great job with the little amount of space they had to work with and it makes it easy to keep an eye on your kids.

Interesting information center with an attached genealogy room for Boone County. Nice place for a casual stroll. Period homes and store on site.

The outdoor playground is great for young children (under age 10). Its clean and well maintained. Theres plenty of free parking. Its a beautiful area for walking, with a pond and historical buildings.

In the park was an outdoor play, last night of the season. So it was nice but too fully rate it properly u would need to return during the day. Small parking lot so I assume smaller crowd which is an added bonus.

Lots of little bass. Didnt catch anything over 1lb. But its fun to take light tackle and catch the little guys.

The kids had a great time. Next time Id like to walk the path, too.

It floods a bit when its been a rainy week, but its never muddy. Its a great park overall.

We enjoyed a lovely day at the Heritage Festival in Nifong Park.

Good place to fish.Big play ground for kids to play an they have live plays there during the spring. Good times.

Quaint and clean, great place to go for some outdoor exercise... as long as Missouri weather decides to participate and not be mean!

Beautiful, well-equipped park. Several nice-sized shelters perfect for BBQ parties. A great playground with lots of climbing stuff.

I love the history behind the houses that they saved.

I have very fond memories of Nifong Park. As a youth I spent my summers learning all things outdoors and performing at the Maplewood Barn Theater. Its changed some, as to be expected. But still takes me right back to my younger days. Great place for adults and kids. Though Im biased because I love being outside!

Park maybe nice but the trailer trash next door has the pond full of trash old containers and bait packages and cigarette packages ect also place is so full of moss no fishing will be done .... really wish they would clean it up and not just before the Heritage festival but like once a month ....

Great park. When the Historical Society building is open there are bathrooms. You can walk through the whole park past the barn and historical buildings. The outer trails however have not been maintained and are too overgrown to travel on.

This is a beautiful historic park with an amazing museum and the structures are all historic with great detail and every building has its story on a plaque!

Dont visit this park often but always take my family to the heritage festival which uses this park. Its a great space with historical buildings.

Lovely place to see with beautiful antique furnishings.

Fun in the spring or summer when the animals are there to check out:) also an amazing pokémon nest if you play pokémon go;)
