This is a great place to visit. There is a wide selection of artifacts ranging from the beginning of human existence to more recent times. There is an area dedicated to each continent, so you are able to get a look into the lives of many different ancient cultures. The art exhibits are right across the hall from the anthropology side, where there is also a variety of pieces displayed here. Make sure to check out this hidden gem!
Loved the exhibit highlighting the objectification of women in fine art. My trip was a great learning experience.
I couldnt believe it that Mizzou has such a great museum. This is one of the nicest museums I have ever seen. It has so much artifacts from different historical places. From Mesopotamia, Egypt, Turkey, Persia and many many more. Its kids friendly and they do lots of kids activities. The staff is amiable and very helpful. On top of that its a nonprofit museum so here we go its free.
Beautiful works of art interesting collections of antique archery great statuary great place to go visit
My 36 year old daughter and 14 an 16 year old grandkids loved the place. We plan on making some more trips to Columbia just to go here.
I saw the Peru pottery and was actually impressed..
I liked this place too much. I amused due to its artistics and super artistics views all around. Though every person has his/her own views, so self realization is the only way to judge.
Very cool space
Interesting very small muse.
Interesting place
Its a shame the building is for sale and the museum will be closing once again.
