Adorable, tucked away and in a quite little neighborhood with the cutest houses

Really nice shady park in the Heathwood neighborhood. One picnic shelter, tennis courts, handball court, two play areas, and an activities building. Not a lot of benches, but enough that we could all sit. It was a pleasant surprise and well go back.

2 words to describe it is quaint and shaded. The park has a variety of things for kiddos to play on and offers a lot of cover from the hot sun. Two things that were a hassle was unfortunately the bathrooms were all locked (most likely to COVID) making it a bit hard having toddler potty training and that the play areas have scratchy sand.

This is a vast and well-kept park, with multiple areas for kids to play. The trees surrounding the area are great to provide shade during the hot months.

I lived on Poinsettia in the 90s and its a great park and neighborhood. Not 5 stars since the full court basketball was turned into half courts. This used to be The Place to play 5 on 5 full court. This place used to be bumping but the neighbors did not like it for that very reason so the goals were moved to take away the full court possibility.
