We always enjoy our experiences at the Cleveland Clinic Dome Theatre. This time we went and saw James Hoods Mesmerica. While it was an interesting experience in the dome Theatre, the price tag did not seem worth the whole. Not necessarily a recommended experience as it felt that they could have done much more with the platform and the media.
IMAX is amazing. One experiences 360° adventures.
This is a major asset in downtown Cleveland. Comfortable seating reasonable prices. Its very loud so maybe bring ear protection.
The design of the theater is poor. Your neck will be killing you unless youre in the top few rows.I saw Mesmerica and it was redundant. It was like watching windows 98 screen saver and a kalidescope for most of the show. There were some short nature screens. The nature screens were the best. The music was average at best. The volume was too loud. I felt like the commentator was yelling at to relax as the show is supposed to help one relax. Disappointing...
Went here to see a theater show in elementary school, 20 years later its just as awesome as I remember! Seen Mesmerica360 and it did not disappoint! Way cool, highly recommend the theater!
Video could have been a bit more clear, but the Dome Theater is a pretty cool experience!
We saw Mesmerica there, great show. Easy parking.
This theater is always an amazing place to watch a film!
Garage is nice, $7 to park, the show was overpriced, should have adjustable head rest on seats, Front doors next to dome for a quick cigarette, that is a big +++++.
Mesmerica was awesome. A must see for anyone.
Amazing,, sound quality could be better, too much base
We saw Mesmerica here and it was totally awesome!
Mesmerica was a weird and unentertaining show. The music was blah and the images were repetitive. Thankfully my ticket was free because I would’ve been mad if I spent any money on such a boring show. I took a nap for the last 30 minutes of the show because I lost interest. Facility itself was nice and clean.
Wonderful show in the dome. Mesmerica
Get in early, go for high and central seats.Great sound system
Nice seats little pricey .But a good time. Have too pay fore parking if no street parking is available
Only 3 stars because of show we saw. Mesamerica sucked...venue ok
This is definitely not the same viewing experience as the IMAX film. This digital projection takes away all the magic that the Omnimax had. Better seats. Brighter projection. But the art of moving pictures is missing. Bring back the film. After all, this is a museum.
Mesmerica 360 was EXCELLENT
Very nice IMAX venue. Interesting movie choices
The National Parks movie was too short and very incomplete. Other than the ice cave feature, I thought it was quite simple imagery, not much better than flat screen TV versions on the National Geographic channel. Not much Wow factor as one would expect. Nice but not great.
This place is awesome. You may not like it but you need to experience that kind of movie watching. Huge screen, awesome sound. I watched a 3D movie without need for 3D glasses and it was amazing.
While the experience of the IMAXish type 3D Dome is great. Its charm wears off fast. and at $17-$20 a person.... not worth it. I love the museum itself, just not the prices for this part.
The vast amount of fun science explained in a simple manner is quite stunning. I really liked the entire thing. The view is stunning as well.
For a Imax/Omnimax style theater, the Great Barrier Reef was either low res, or way out of focus.
Clean venue and friendly staff.
Its very round.
Great Barrier Reef show was awesome.
Very relaxing
Great sound system! The movie look amazing in here, is like youre inside of the film!
If youre into space science, this is the place to be, showing some history of space travel!!
Just do it!.....a panoply of sight and sound no matter what the flick
We love watching movies in this theater at the science center.
Meh, could do better.
Need to rotate the movies more.
Love this place!
Watching movies on the Big Screen
Awesome way of watching a movie.
