My sister and I went here for our birthday (twins) and we dressed in 1920s style clothes to fit in. We had a Blast! They stay in character the whole time, and just makes you feel like you are in that Era. The entertainers were friendly and fun to interact with and the songs and dance were energetic and fun to watch. The food was tasty but I was so captivated by my surroundings that I wasnt really focused on it. I really would love to go back!

My wife surprised me with reservations to the speakeasy for my birthday! Had a great time! Huge portion of prime rib, plenty of hooch! Of course she drove us back to our room. The staff were awesome both on stage and off. We even wore clothes of the era. Loved it! Love her!

A little unmarked building at 2114 S. Wabash that takes you back in time to Chicago in the 40s. This is a great place to bring groups, go for your birthday or any other occation. The food choices included lasagna with or without meat, two types of chicken or a prime rib all served with a baked potato and green beans along with a choice of soup or salad and finished with a mini canoli for desert. The food was excellent and there is a full bar. I have to say, as good as the food was, the show was even better. The servers multi task and perform and do an excellent job. It is a highly entertaining audience interactive show with music performed live by a drummer and painist. The performers all sing and dance and keep you entertained throughout. Highly recommended and would go back again.

What a fun experience for the whole family. The drinks were nice and strong and the food was also delicious. One question I wondered about was if it was okay to bring kids and my 11 and 12 year old were fine. Everyone enjoyed it.

Awesome food and a great performance! The beautiful waitresses do a great job serving, and then they get on stage and do a great job performing! The food is always hot and delicious, and all the courses come perfectly paced. The atmosphere is fun, the show is interactive and intimate. This show is a must see if youre visiting Chicago.

What a wonderful evening! The best night of laughs Ive had in awhile. I laughed and smiled so much my face hurt, no joke!I took 10 - 16 & 17 yr old girls & some of their parents because we were in town for a huge National Volleyball Tournament. As we all know, its hit or miss w/ teenagers, but they all loved the dinner & the show so much that it absolutely made our trip and created such memorable times for us all to share together, forever.The dinner was excellent! I had the biggest, best piece of prime rib Ive ever seen and several of my girls had the lasagna & some the chicken, everyone was totally satisfied w/ their dinner, no complaints.The staff was so fun, charming and paid so much attention to everyone in the joint. They really made us all feel special and welcomed.These Dolls cant say enough good things about their experience at Tommy Guns Garage and we didnt even partake in the Hooch!I would highly recommend if u want a fun evening out w/ friends or family of all ages to spend the money and go! You wont be disappointed.

The food and staff were phenomenal. The adult beverages were perfectly mixed. Going on Valentines day weekend they did a beautiful job at showing the massacre in a way that truly brought it back to life. The narration of the event was done with respect and kept us captivated. They exceeded all expectations. Thank you for such an amazing time!!!!

The show was entertaining and the atmosphere was very fun but we both had prime rib and it seriously was like shoe leather. We had a hard time cutting it . We should have communicated that to them but I think they knew because one of the actors made a joke about it on stage. So, the food could have been better but the show itself was fun. A little pricey for the food quality though.

Entertainment wise this was a 4/5. Food wise it was horrible. I got chicken which was still frozen in the middle for starter and main was not great. They did give a refund for the starter and give a free cocktail. Service was good. As long as you come in with low expectations of the food I would recommend this place

I do not want to say much and spoil the surprises of this show. But my jaw hurt from laughing so much. The idea is very unique; and I can say, for certain, our crew of people absolutely enjoyed every second of it. It is kitsch at its best. Others ate (apparently) delicious and massive prime rib, or chicken, and all raved. This vegan got grilled vegetables, a baked potato, and a salad...and they might have been the best grilled vegetables and baked potato ever. Be forewarned: you may end up being part of the speakeasy-era theater show, as I was, and a few of our crowd. But, then again, I got a very attractive server named Lulu to serenade me with a love song on stage while sitting on my lap, so no complaints from me. Enjoy this very entertaining show and dinner - you will be glad you did.

Food was solid. The staff was great. Show was great for the most part. The one thing that I didn’t appreciate was when they pulled a large man from the audience onto the stage... he was big but he wasn’t fat by any means. “Lefty” ripped him for his weight and you could tell by the change in his facial expression that he was completely embarrassed and wanted out of there... I was much heavier than this guy so the rest of the show I didn’t enjoy because the whole time I was praying they didn’t pick me as I could not imagine spending $200(for 2 people) to get ripped on for my weight...

Took my mom n dad here for their 25th wedding anniversary and they didnt disappoint. They were amazing and the show was awesome. Tons of laughter shared with everyone there.

A fun night for out-of-town visitors who love organized crime history. Brought my significant other here for his birthday. We both love mobster films. The food was decent, but the show was where Tommy Gun shined. The staff stays in character while serving you. There are plenty of fun jokes and audience participation. There were a few instances in which audience members were selected to join the cast on stage to participate in the show. There were hints of Broadway, with fun music and singing. Neither myself nor my boyfriend enjoy Broadway, but this was very fun and enjoyable. I definitely recommend!

Very fun! Starting at the parking lot where a guy will see you with suspicion, to the guy inside who will put the spotlight on you if you ask too many questions, like a cop, ya know? To the show and the food. This place is a 5 stars in my book.

We had the BEST time here! Definitely a must do! Fun for all ages 18-118! We laughed until we cried and the atmosphere really put you in the 1920s. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Great job to the staff!!!

A lot of fun, amazing waiters and waitresses. Such a cool environment as well as audience inclusive. The costumes are fun and the actors/waiters have good voices. A funny show overall. Not necessarily the best place for younger children, but still a great place to go.

It was a fun time. Along with dinner and drinks they perform for about 2 hours. First its a medley of songs then it turns into an assortment of skits with a loose sense of continuity. I only mention that so you dont go into it thinking you have to follow it closely else miss something.

The food is good, the staff is attentive. The show is good but a little amateurish, especially considering what you pay for it.

You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. The staff was very helpful and observant. Feels like a place in Charlotte that I enjoyed visiting.

What an experience! Me and my doll parked our bucket in the lot where there were a couple o goons who told us where to go and gave us the password to get into the joint. We gave it to the bruno at the door packin heat and he let us in. We were introduced to da boss at the door who got another fella to show us to our table. On the way there, he starts gettin fresh wit my gal. I told him, Listen here, see... shes my broad I tell ya! And if ya keep it up, Ill sock ya in da trap. We got to our table, and this tomato comes up to see if we wanted any hooch. Of course we do! And let me tell ya - they got some of the best bathtub gin in the city of Chicago! They even washed the tub.We took on some top rate prime rib!There was a show with some pretty good hoofers and we only got raided by the fuzz once. Thankfully we proved we were sober so nobody got nailed.All in all, it was a great evening and well be back the next time were in town... as long as Im not at the resort up-state, if you know what I mean.

Oh my goodness!!! We had such a great time. The location is perfect, the staff was wonderful and the food was good! Honestly, I didnt know what I was getting myself into, but once we got inside... (Because we actually walked in the kitchen door first ) we were greeted and seated like we owned the joint. Just attended with our kids tonight! Good food and funny show. Prime rib and chicken dishes were good. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a night out in Chicago with the family. I would say 12 and up though, not for younger kids. There is some loud moments ...Worth every penny, say hi to Bubbles (our waitress) Slim and Vito!

My wife and I loved the whole experience.Food was good (we got the lasagna and prime rib), but the portions are kind of huge (twice what either of us wanted).Audience participation was fun and mostly singing along or similar stuff aside from a half dozen or so people getting pulled onstage for skits throughout the night.The show was great and wed absolutely recommend it for anyone who likes dinner theater type shows.

One of a kind dinner show but the food is not that good. It was featured on food networks most unique restaurants. Like most shows, its a little campy but definitely a unique experience and one of the only gangster themed entertainment in Chicago besides prohibition tours, so good for tourists.

Had an awesome time! The food was great and the show had me laughing the whole time. I can appreciate all the work the staff must go through to be waiters/waitresses and also be performers for the show as well. The staff stayed in character the whole night and were attentive to our needs.

Prime rib and chicken were very over cooked and potatoes were under cooked. When food finally arrived servers didnt know who ordered what.Were very unorganized and uncaring.Would not recommend food.Show was average.

The wait staff is wonderful; they somehow balance waiting on guests and performing on stage. The entertainment is fun and its possible for a guest, or two, to get pulled up on stage. Tourist attraction that is actually a lot of fun. They put on a super fun show that starts before you even walk in. I got dragged up on stage and had a lot of fun. A great team of performers who work together well and really seem to be enjoying themselves. I would recommend the performance without hesitation. The food was okay, but nothing spectacular.

Very fun and unique experience!!!!! Was visiting Chicago and my wife wanted to go to a show...not much running in the early fall. Glad we found this, it was a really fun night out. The whole staff is part of the show and they stay in character from beginning to end. You can tell these folks are passionate about providing fun entertainment. Definitely Recommend.
