Great place for a fun night out. I never laugh so hard. There was great customer service. They accommodated 2 groups. Tonight plus some. Also the man in charge was really nice as well. Great time.

Always great standup and improv comedy for a bargain price. BYOB. They have weekly improv classes there as well. Definitely an entertainment gem.

I went to the Comedy Clubhouse for the first time and it was so great I went back to see a SECOND show!Toasted was SO fun - bring a friend and the comics will do an amazing job roasting them.Doc Love puts on a hell of a comedy show as well.I cant recommend this theatre enough!

My boyfriend and I went to the Roast and Toast event and had an amazing time. It was so much fun and we literally laughed all through the show! Will definitely be returning! Oh and the BYOB is the best part!

I absolutely love this place! I have been to the toasted show for the last four weeks! They never fail to put a huge smile on my face and give me a refreshing laugh! I would definitely recommend this place and maybe even volunteering to be roasted and toasted!

This is a regular date night spot for my significant other and I. Its affordable, hilarious and BYOB! When we started planning our wedding it came to mind that Comedy Clubhouse does something called Roasted & Toasted. They choose someone in the crowd, ask questions and then roast/roast them. We came up with the idea to have them do that for us as a couple in front of our family and friends! We did a buyout of the space on a Thursday night, had Portillos catered and brought in a ton of booze! I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW AMAZING THEY WERE. Not only were the comedians on point, the entire process from inquiring - planning - execution was seamless. After our show was over I said I dont know how our wedding can top the rehearsal. We all laughed to the point of tears. The comedians were so on point about us as individuals and a couple and they had never even met us! Its going to be a forever favorite memory for us both. Do yourself a favor and book them for a private event and if you cant do that, catch a show or two. AT MINIMUM. Thank you Comedy Clubhouse for our special day!

Great local spot for comedy! My girlfriend went to the 11pm Stand-up show last Saturday, just for some local laughs and something cheap to do for fun. We loved the BYOB factor, and knowing that we could support some local acts for such a low price was a definite draw for us both.the MC was very entertaining, as were all of the comedy acts! I really enjoy seeing people trying to hone their craft, and find their niche in the world of comedy. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who is looking for cheap laughs and wants to support local artists!

The show was great! The spot is a bit small but comfortable +++ there’s bottle openers in each table, which is very convenient at a BYOB place. Comedians are also great. I love the diversity! Overall good experience in a small but comfortable welcoming place. Parking is very limited as you have to find your own street parking but overall great. I had a good time.

Went for the Friday night 10PM Improv show.Really enjoyed the experience. We got to experience three different teams each take a suggestion from the audience and each improvise for over 20 minutes. Great Improv, many laughs, nice venue.In my best Austrian accent, Ill be back!

Theres some talent here. Its BYOB so youre pretty much guaranteed some laughs.

The Comedy Clubhouse was amazing! All of the improv groups we saw were hilarious and the atmosphere was so cozy and relaxed. We went to see a friend perform, but would definitely go again even if he wasnt there!

Hilarious comedy in a cozy atmosphere! I cant put my finger on it, but there is something about the combination of the friendly crowd and intimate setting that makes this place truly special -- a feeling you cant get in the bigger performance houses around Chicago. It is quickly becoming my go-to place for comedy.

The improv started off a little slow but quickly became true hilariousness. We planned it for post dinner at Mott Street, and we will be back!! Perfect evening. The house staff was beyond amazing!

Went to see the improve last night and had an amazing time. Its a smaller intimate setting perfect for date night with the Mrs or Mr. The acts were great. The thing that impressed me the most was the owner. I called and he texted me back immediately answering all my questions. Last you really get a good bang for your buck as the prices were fair. Looking forward to stand up night on Saturday.

Hilarious long form improv in a comfortable and intimate theater. Tickets are inexpensive, typically $8-$12 per show. You can find cheaper tickets online prior to the show. Saturdays offer hilarious Mainstage shows. Their current show Wishin Control is exceptional! Shows are BYOB. You cant lose!

I’ve been here as an audience member and a performer. Every time has been a blast and I can’t wait to return. Wonderful shows where you see some of Chicago’s up and coming stand ups on the Toasted show. The hosts are badass!

Grabbed our flask, got a couple of hot dogs w/fries of course, & ventured into this cool intimate venue which took me back to the 70’s. Kevin invited us quite awhile back & we were determined to get there.What a talented group of Actors! They put on this fantastically hilarious performance. The only thing I could compare it to is the most amazing & funniest charades ever done. Thank you all. Can’t wait for the next one.

What a brilliant and unpretentious venue! The staff is so sweet and friendly, and the actors were hysterical. If you are lucky enough to witness the group Archimedes Wheaties keep an eye out for Mary because she is extraordinarily charming and quick-witted. I will absolutely be returning as soon as possible. Comedy Clubhouse is a great way to spend a night. It’s very funny, sometimes you can stay for the next show and it’s very affordable. BYOB too. It’s a hidden gem.

I ventured here on a random Wednesday night. Having never experienced an improv show — or any comedic act for that matter — I had no idea what to expect. To my delight and pleasure, I was privy to an evening of hearty laughs and off-the-cuff entertainment, some of which will be etched into my mind forever. The comics were awesome and lively. Needless to say, I’ll be keeping this venue on my radar in the future.

The crews for the improv did a good job, overall. Some of the crews were a little rough, but not unenjoyable. For the price, the entertainment cant be beat though!

This is a great intimate venue. The nights are varied with local comedy and diverse groups of performers. Theres something for everyones taste. The staff is really attentive to supporting artists at different levels of experience in comedy. If you think youre funny, theyll help you get on stage to prove it. If you just want to enjoy some laughs, get over there, sit back and drink the tall boys you brought (cause its BYOB... which is awesome!)

Had a blast here for the Culture Shock show and every single comic was hilarious ! Ontonio Kareem did an excellent job hosting and the space is cozy and welcoming . My first time attending a comedy show and it was a huge success .

Ive been to this venue a few times for their Friday night long-form improv show, and I always have a blast!! Buying tickets online is easy, everyone there is helpful when you arrive, and the shows are hilarious!! They have a talent pool of people and the shows dont disappoint. I definitely would recommend this spot for improv and comedy and will be back soon!

I always love going to the Comedy Clubhouse. Ive been attending shows here for a year-and-a-half so far and its always a blast: talented performers, great shows, a celebratory BYOB atmosphere, and a welcoming, unpretentious demeanor. Ive also produced a show at the Clubhouse, and found the rental and other processes to be easy and efficient. Its a fantastic place run by great people.

Absolutely wonderful. I came here with my girlfriend on a Sunday evening and we were reeling in laughter. Original, involving, and truly talented improvisers performing in a wonderfully quaint and charming venue. BYOB -- we got a choose your own six pack from the Jewel a couple blocks away. Management were great. Ill be back here soon for sure!

Been going for years and Im glad my friends do shows bere. The only down side is the tall chairs are hard to sit on for a hour and a half. The couches up front however are exteremely confortable.

My friend Pat Doctor invited me to see the show. I loved the atmosphere, the show was amazing and the actors were great. Most definitely recommended if you are up for a good laugh and good time with friends you love.

First time there...it is a nice space with some talented improv performers...and you cant beat the price. Its byob -- though they are in the process of getting a liquor license--but its a friendly enough atmosphere that the table next to mine asked if I wanted any of the beer that they brought.

Place was a great time hilarious and loved the BYOB component wish they had ice buckets or something to keep your booze cold we were there for about three hours stuff got warm after a while. glad to be here to watch this place succeed.

Definitely had a amazing time

Although the entrance was a little difficult to find (the white door entrance had a white board on it indicating to ring the doorbell for deliveries and I spent a couple minutes contemplating whether I was worthy enough to ring the door bell - I decided to just walk on in and that was fine), the experience was amazing. The atmosphere was fun, and the seats were comfortable. The actors were very unique, sincere and invested. The actors communicated and connected so well with each other and thus, being improv, allows for a special performance for every show. There was seldom silence except for the moments one would be out of breath after laughing so hard. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I highly recommend The Comedy Clubhouse to anyone looking for a fun and laughter filled night.

Skipped overpriced & under funny Valentines Day tickets to the Laugh Factory to go here instead & boy were we glad! I missed the cutoff for the cheap tickets online & Mike STILL hooked it up. The longform improv was top notch & we got drunk cuz its BYOB - (Bring Your Own Beer / Bitches / BOOF) Sh!t was mad funny yo! Also its in an old church / funeral home so theres that. After the show we shared a few more laughs, brews & listened to Scoochie Boochie while Mike relived his glory hole days & his Detroit homie hit on my gf. BFF DTF TTYL Fun Times. Would Reccomend!(P.S. It’s across the street from that tire shop that they burned down for insurance money back in the day. Don’t let the Uber driver drop you off in the alley & then climb through window like we did!)

Nice intimate place to get some good laughs. The show we went to was for up and coming folks, and it was surprisingly good. The owner is also a performer and really talented at improv. Would definitely go again.

Awesome atmosphere, top notch talent. Whoever books the performers here has a real eye for it. I instantly felt comfortable, the girl working the door was pleasant and accommodating, and the fact that its BYOB was the cherry on top. The best place in Bucktown/Wicker Park to set the tone for an awesome night out.
