Impressive! includes 1st, 2nd, and final 3rd crews who all served and perished on the Hunley.

Regardless of your views of this period in our history, the 3 crews of the Hunley were true heroes. Coming to their final resting place drives that point home...they paid the ultimate price for their beliefs.

Came here to see the buriel site of the crew of the Hunley. The submarine gets far more attention than the men who risked their lives. The cemetery has a few other sites with Civil War monuments and older. Came here early evening and it was already getting to look a bit creepy. Stopped on the way out to say hi to the enormous alligator basking in the sun.

This place is amazing, be respectful please. It is inside Magnolia Cemetery which is itself amazing.
