Went for their star gazing party and the hosts were very knowledgable and were more than willing to share about what you can see. If you have a someone who wants to study the sky. Bring them, these guys may inspire more than you think

We had an amazing experience and learned many new things. The volunteers are very patient and enjoy sharing their knowledge. We will definitely be back!

They have a great program weekly and several telescopes to view celestial objects. When they have star parties you can bring your own equipment and there are outlets available to plug your equipment into. There is a walking path between the main campus and the observatory that has plaques with planets, and other objects.

Love the star parties! The shield to block the lights from Carson really helps. Just wish we knew the theme of the monthly lectures ahead of time.

This is a great place to take your kids on a Saturday night to do some stargazing. There are many professionals up there that will help assist you with looking for Galaxies planets and stars

An awesome place to spend the evening. Call ahead to find out when the astronomers are going to be out in the evening with their telescopes. They love to show visitors whats happening in the stars.Great for young and old alike. Bring your kids, or your parents, or both.

Everyone out there were so nice. We got a tour of the Galaxy from a man, and he was so happy to show us.

Its a great place to learn about the stars, friendly gentleman that are more than happy to answer questions . it was really cloudy the night me and the wife went so we will return soon ....

Saturday night at the observatory is always a good time. The astronomical society volunteers are very knowledgeable and great to talk to.
