Cactus Jacks is a friendly, quiet, and peaceful place to gamble. If you want to gamble and not be in huge crowds of people, and just sit and relax than this is the place for you. The staff there are friendly and respectful, and will assist you with what you need. They have a self serve soda machine and coffee, just ask the bartender for a glass or a cup and theyll be happy to assist you. Theyll also go to the machine that your playing at to make sure you feel at home and welcomed. They also have a new corner restaurant called TJs Corner. Ive been to the restaurant and they have an excellent variety of choices for a good meal. My review for TJs Corner will be in a different review that Ill post after this one. At Cactus Jacks Casino, the customer comes first. Stop by and see for yourself. I used to work there myself, and trying to return. Thanks for your time.

Went into the bathroom at 830 pm saw a 90 % consumed bottle of beer sitting on the counter. Didnt think anything of it at the time. Came back 3 hrs later to find that same bottle of beer sitting in the bathroom. Sanitation for covid? Not in this casino. No thanks

Havent been there in a while. They are fixing it up a bit. Renegades burger place is gone . But something new has taken her place. Noodles, egg rolls, wings. Got a sneak peak this past weekend. I hear theyll be open for the Nov 2020 wine walk. Have to go check them out!

1st time here. Broke even enough, did not have to wait long for greetings and a cocktail from waitress. Very clean. Oh yeah, and the great 80s/90s rock music, we heard from outside, is what lured us in today...Looking forward to our next visit soon.

Flashy building but dont believe appearances. This place was musty smelling, small and quite boring. There was only one machine that really appealed to me but it didnt pay me anything. I was out of there in less than half an hour. Good luck in keeping this place open.

It is an older casino, you still have fun.The cafe there has very very good food.The Hamburgers are so good you will become a regular at least once a week.Home made fries, yum yum.

Cactus Jacks is tiny. And usually its busy. But the people who work there are nice and they have a good mix of old and new machines. It kinda feels a little bit haunted, kind of like everything else does in Carson City. I like that you can get your own coffee and soda. I dont win often here, but I am able to play on 20 bucks long enough that I feel satisfied.

Freaking phenomenal!! I had the chicken fried steak, eggs over easy. Best in a long time, didnt even need a knife to cut it.

Not know anyone in town? Looking for drugs? This is a great place to start.

CJs has been a mainstay in downtown Carson City for about as long as I can remember. From its iconic Howdy sign out front to the good grub to be had in the little diner inside, the place symbolizes the down home friendliness of yesteryear. The only reason I dont give it five stars is because it replaced its slot club with coupons that come out in a monthly mailing and are more hassle than theyre worth.

Sad old casino not to be confused with sad new casinos.

Nice little place to hang out. The regular pokers are akin to a bunch of siblings, each attempting to outdo the other, but family closeness. The slots have been mostly generous, so far, and while the kitchen appears modest, the food Ive eaten there was almost surprisingly good. No poker game on Wednesday, or I might consider taking up temporary residence here.

Carson City is a place we always drove through,or around. Well big mistake! A good friend of mine told me, how good the food is at Cactus Jacks! Next morning I headed their for a breakfest.WOW!Very impressed! Great staff,and my plate filled up ! Everything cooked perfect. I ordered 2 egg breakfast, with chicken fried steak. Gravy was so good.Yes its a hole in the wall place. You will never leave hungry. Renagade, and Terri works awesome together. This pair of ladies you will never forget.You need to remember this is a casino, and yes smoking is aloud. Not at the counter. If you dont like smelling smoke it might not be for you. But you should rethink,and give it a chance. You will be impressed!! About twelve barstools a lot of elbow space.So if you love a lot of food,and get everything you ordered perfect!Also you dont mind being told you have a bit gravy on your face by RenagadeGO!! I might see you their for another breakfast.Enjoy Carson City,and dont drive around. Make sure you stop here. Say Hi to the ladies for me.Alot of fun places to see,and eat out.
