It is a great place to just wander around. Low enough to walk in but not get to wet.

Great easy hike, flat. Beware of coyotes especially if you have a dogs. Dogs love the water but make sure its slow and shallow. Some parts are better to let your dog play.

Please check it out if you havent!This a great park that has ample parking and plenty of space to get some alone time without being interrupted. Lovely walking trails and lots of pretty views of the Carson river.

Amazing views and water! Just wish people would pick up after themselves and and even if they dont the rangers should pick up the trash anyway

Great place to have a calm relaxing walk following the river. There are picnic tables and an area that would be good for small gatherings like a wedding ceremony. Take your dogs, kids and a lunch; this is a great day spot.

Fun spot to walk with the family.

This park has a good parking area, restroom, picnic table and hiking trails. The walk to the old Mexican Dam is about 45 minutes to 1 hour, one way, on easy trails, with no elevation change.

Its a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Fun off raoding too.
