This is a very nice well maintained park. There is a large lake with a scenic bridge. There are fountains (if working) and statues of tribute. The trees have name labels. There is even a park ranger visibly on site. Fall color abounds aligned with visions of the sky and the buildings that create the city landscape.

We walked through the Boston Public Garden as it was very close to where we stayed. It is a well kept urban oasis that was very clean even with the relatively heavy amount of foot traffic that was there on a Saturday afternoon. The flowers were in bloom and on full display, along with the masks that almost everyone had including the park ranger who was stationed there for additional security - all good! The only thing that was missing were the swan boats which are not running due to the Covid pandemic. Overall, the venue is thoroughly enjoyable for an individual, couples or a family. Well definitely return!

This park is by far one of the nicest spots in the whole city! Its perfect for a leisurely stroll around the lake and through the gardens. There are plenty of beautiful flowers and trees, and it is a breath of fresh air in the heart of Boston. You can follow the path around the lake, or sit on the grass or a bench and people watch. There are usually people playing instruments and it is a real pleasure to relax and enjoy the music. But be careful! The park is home to a literal horde of fluffy squirrels with no fear of people at all! If you take your eyes off your food you may find that you accidentally donated your snack to the squirrels of the park!

I had the wonderful opportunity to be the Justice of the peace that married an attractive young couple. During the ceremony I noticed that several of the passers by had stopped to watch our wedding ceremony ...next to the water... then I saw a couple of the uniformed park officials stop and watch as well. When I Asked for everyone who approved of the marriage to yell in a loud voice we do! it seemed like the entire park yelled we do! It was such a wonderful experience. I believe that type of casual loving support comes from a very well maintained beautiful national treasure. The grounds are so well kept and the attitude is very relaxed and the trees and the sunshine and the water and the iconic views just make it a fantastic place to stop by and enjoy.
